Story behind the scarf;; When Mi (short for Misima) was young, she was raised in a dangerous part of the community. She always had a delicate personality, made even more delicate by those who bullied her. Her mother, the only one who really understood her, comforted her every day, even though her health was failing. A week before her mother died, she gave Misima a scarf, a special scarf.
"You were named after a small island. This island is a volcanic island, and I knew from the moment you were born that you would have a warm heart, just like the island you're named after. I know that you think of me as your island of safety, but I won't be here to be your island forever. So I want to give you this. Remember me by it, and whenever you need an island, hold it close and remember you are strong."

Halloween has always been Blair's favorite holiday. In fact, the entire month of October can be classified as her favorite time of the year. From the scents of crisp leaves and fresh pumpkins to the sound of excited laughter and autumn breezes, just the thought of autumn sends excitement through Blair's bones.
From the time that Blaire was aware of her shine, she knew that she held a special tie to Halloween. It didn't take long for her to grow a passion for the creepy side of life, often nose-deep in tales of horror and otherworldly beings. The very colors of her fur reflects the excitement and mysteriousness of the holiday.
That is why the first article of clothing that came into Blair's possession was a hand-knitted scarf that embraced the holiday. A gift from her mother, Blair keeps the scarf close at all times. When it isn't hugging her neck, a reminder of the month that she holds to dear to her heart, it's tucked away somewhere close. The scarf is her single most prized possession and she wears it with pride and love.
