once was a researcher. obsessed w/ the prospect of unknown creatures existing deep in the ocean.
desperate for a job
hired at an odd research clinic. always seems to be something off (things disappearing, weird lights behind doors, etc)
hears a whisper one day, asking if she wants to see what she desires. idk why but she agrees
goes into this weird room weird lights flashy stuff etc etc blacks out (wow cliche :U)
wakes up chained in an underwater room. can't feel back legs yikes there's a tail!!
idk what it'll be yet, but she's basically told there's a community of mermaids living underwater. to be back to her work, her real life she has to get rid of the ones in control somehow or she's stuck here forever. she has one week
last day, she runs in and almost kills them but breaks down crying bc she lowkey learned to love it underwater
ends w/ her living with them. keep a close eye on her, sometimes she still gets whispers.
