Why She Collects Knives:
Emi has a deep rooted passion for knives. She loves everything about them, from the way they feel in her hand to the curve of the sharp blade. She has loved knives ever since her father, who happened to be Furtopia's resident assassin at the time, taught her how to use a knife at a young age. She knows how to fight with knives, how to throw them, and the best way to kill someone with a butter knife. But she doesn't practice the art of stabbing people (anymore, at least), and instead prefers to collect knives. She has butter knives, daggers, cooking knives, big knives, small knives, sharp knives, straight knives, curved knives, fancy knives, plain knives, etc, etc. One of her favorite pass times is finding old knives, and giving them a new handle. She likes to carve the handles out of ivory, or stone, or occasionally a strong wood. Emi just loves knives to be honest, and gets terrifyingly excited over them on a daily basis.

why does she collect knives: She is very paranoid and over-protective. Willow tends to overthink on life, and collects knives just in case she needs to play heroine or kick some bad person's butt. Willow Jaye also loves the feel of knives in her palm and believes she needs to be prepared.

why does she collect knives: When she went camping as young child with her dad she stumbled away from him with nothing but a pocket knife and a water-bottle. She survived two days on her own by rationing the water and cutting up some wood for shelter, fire and weapons for hunting food. Ever since she doesn't leave the house without her pocket knife and is now obsessed with collecting knives of all kinds.

why does she collect knives: Lindsay always likes to trade; online, in real life, and more. Sometimes she will stand out on the street and open her jacket and people walking by are horrified. Sometimes though, she will get that paperclip trader. She only trades for really neat things, as they are a collection of things she has worked hard in trading for.

why does she collect knives:
Her friends tease they are knives, which angers her to an extent. To be clear "THEY ARE KNIVES" like she yells. They are shaving blades/metal combs/ sharp brushes for doing her hair/customer's hair. She does it for a clean shave or cut, and that's why they have to be sharp. She also uses them to make her haircut clean, fabulous, and stunning.

why does she collect knives;
jessi likes collecting knifes, and has done since she was just thirteen years old. as a child,
she never knew her mother. as her father would always say to her, she passed away shortly
after she was born to unknown causes. she lived in the countryside, just her and her only
parent, the trees, and the animals, and.. that was it. time passed fast and life got boring.
nothing was interesting and more importantly nothing was new. each day was like déjà vu
and she grew angrier and angrier about herself, how she caused her own mother's death as
she began to believe. however, one lonely day in the attic scrambling around in old boxes
she found a small chest that was coloured orange and had a small heart carved on it.
engraved on the box in lettering, it said "forever in love,,". jessi opened the small chest
with confusion and ruffled around in it. she picked up old polaroid photo's of what seemed
to be a lady kissing his father. this had to be hermother! as she continued to look deeper
into the box, at the bottom was a small pocket knife, no bigger than a thumb. it was
coloured orange much like the box and also had a love heart engraved on it. jessi began
to tear up. this, this knife was special.. her very own mother touched this at some point
and gave it to her dad.. it made her sadder and sadder until she began to cry almost
lakes you could say. her father NEVER told her anything about her mother! it made her
anger grow and grow until her breaking point: on a regular tuesday morning which her
dad thought would be a nice day at the local park, she lashed out at her father with
an unruly fury, the anger about her mother's death. her father let her rant and rant
because he didn't have a clue what to do until she grew even angrier, threatening to throw
the small pocket knife into the lake. but she stopped to see her dad shed a single tear and
whimper.. "please, don't destroy it..".
this made her heart break. this whole time, she looked at her father as some ignorant
idiot who didn't care about his wife, but all along he did. it made her stop and approach
her dad. it grew in her mind that she had to stop. she hugged him and with a cold, drained
voice she said ".. i'm sorry." he grinned. "i'm sorry too."
for the remainder of the day, they spoke about her mother. it made her realise her purpose
and who and what she came from. her mother was such a hero, training to be in the army
to fight for the country. apparently she had a large variety of knives, that she collected.
everyone she found she engraved the same heart into them to show her love for her loving
husband. she realised the value of her mother's collection and knives - it made her hooked.
they went into the attic once more to find her mother's old knife collection. from this
very day, jessi has added to her mother's collection, showing her love for her.
plus, knives are pretty wicked and shiny, and she likes them very much. she keeps the knives
in her garage with shelves and rows of them, all different shapes and sizes as well as her trusty
red leather jacket hiding her most precious knifes.
there is also a memorial she made for her mother in there with the orange knife in a well sealed
cabinet on top, to commemorate her loving life.
(sorry for the massive story <3, it was slightly inspired by steven universe, but not entirely.)

Why she collects knives:
For a while, Calliope was alone. Calliope didn't have many friends, and none of them were close to her or of any importance in her life. She thought it was her fault, because of her ever-so-energetic personality and things. When Calliope was in the midst of her depression, instead of succumbing to self-harm or similar things, she took up whittling. She started out with the dullest, ugliest knife you'd ever see. It was something she had found in a dollar store. One year later, after she had fought her way out of depression, she had learned to whittle like a pro. (She had gotten new knives of course) One day, when she was whittling a horse out of a beautiful specimen of pine, (her favorite type of wood) the shyist person in their class asked her how she did it. They have been friends ever since, and she taught her friend how to whittle. This is why she collects knives.

why does she collect knives: scramble is a kleptomaniac for knives, she'll go out of her way to take anything sharp and shiny she fancies, only to polish them, sharpen them, organize them, but never use them. She claims they're too precious for that.
