personality Ophelius is, well, a tad crazy. She isn't really insane, but she is definitely a force to be reckoned with. Ever since she was little, she has been used to being on her own and fending for herself, so it is really hard for her to let others take care of her when she needs it, or even admit that she needs help. Many people find her frightening at first glance, which she sort of is. She isn't necessarily dangerous, but if you saw her in an alleway at night, you'd definitely walk a different route just to avoid her. This is probably a defense mechanism for her; she feels the need to look tough so that others won't try to take advantage of her or pick on her. As a young kit, Ophelius grew up on the streets with no family or friends to call her own. The one friend that she did end up making betrayed her and stole everything she had- which wasn't much at all. This is also likely the reason that she has trust and abandonment issues. Ophie is a thrill-seeker and an adventurer. She digs punk rock and heavy metal bands, avoiding all things on the soft side. She wears mostly black with small splashes of red, and sticks to wearing minimal clothing. She's also a big fan of leather. Ophelius is a major night owl, and is almost completely nocturnal. This is because she likes to avoid as many people as possible.

Ceno has a very understanding air about him without seeming over sympathetic. He's neutral by nature, so he's not one to judge based on anyone's past actions. Though, as a result, he doesn't express emotion well. His eyes are usually what give him away, as childlike as they seem. Interesting. [50/50]

about the instrument
Ceno is what you would call a selective mute, and considering how easily he clams up there's probably an underlying cause... Nevertheless, he adores brightening someone's day with his tunes. He's perfected a method of expressing his emotions with his music instruments, like using soothing notes for contentment or a shrill pitch for distress. He prefers his piccolo (a gift from a close friend), but harmonicas are nice too. But, sometimes they seem a bit too vibrate-y, you know?

about the tail
It's prehensile! Like a monkey's or a possum's. Or even a seahorse, resisting valiantly against the sea current. Ceno is a little bit like a seahorse in that regard. Lots of determination for such a quiet guy. His tail acts as another limb, but what it does best is hold his instruments. It can even hold his own body weight, but he can quickly tire himself out that way.
about the shine
It's an ocarina and some music notes. <': Very little inspiration was pulled from Zelda besides the common-ish shape, but when I looked up wind instruments I was delighted to find out that ocarinas are real instruments. The oldest ocarinas (well, vessel-flute thingies) are over 12,000 years old!
