AQUAFINA'S CHILDHOOD

On July 22, the sun was shinning through the crystal blue water. As the coral reef was waving as the wind above blew over. On a near by beach was a cave covered in palm trees. Inside was a nest full of branches and leaves and a little white egg with purple and yellow spots. A little cracking sound started to happen. Then a small little Viscet popped out. The small unique creature started to look around and her little finned mane looped over her face as she started to walk out of the nest. All alone, she wandered out of the cave. The warm sand, warmed up her little paws. She jumped around and landed in a small puddle near the ocean, she was very curious on what it was and she started to walk into the water. The water rushed through her scaly fur. It warmed her body. She felt like she belonged in the water. She then instally started to paddle. The water hitting her face made her dive under. She holded her breath but breathed out do to losing air, she realized she was able to breath under water. A couple of feet infrount of her was a small coral reef with tons of fish. She swam down and landed on a sea sponge. She giggled as it felt squishy. She jumped up and down until hopping on a rock with little crabs. She licked her lips as she grabbed one and ate it. She fell in love with the taste and began to eat until her belly was full. Months And Years Passed, Aquafina which is now her name grew older and much mature. She started to explore and find new things. Loves to mess with the schools of fish. She is often sarcastic to them but they don't mind. From an orphan to a mature adult Aquafina sure had a fun child hood.

Extra 1: Her Job- Short Story-
"What was that! Search the building we can't have one of them Viscet spies hacking our system again!" A rough masculine voice boomed over the dark quiet office building. June flicked her ears back, her night vision goggles hummed silently as she flipped them up. The microchip was almost done downloading, only 9% left until it all loaded. June opened her small black brief case, and carefully pulled out a high tech grappling hook gun. She blacked the computer screen and shot it up into the ceiling vent she had entered through, silently zipping up into it. She looked down into the dark office space and flicked her night vision goggles back on, seeing just as the secret evil cooperation's men surrounded the computer room. Two dogs were sniffing the premises and one was getting dangerously close to the computer. It seemed to have found something. June followed it's haze and saw her briefcase left wide out in the open. She smothered a gasp and scolded herself. How could you have forgotten your briefcase June!! Boss would kill you, it's simple rookie stuff! June thought. She carefully pulled out a tranquilizer gun and aimed it carefully at the dog. She shot a dart at the dog and it gave a small yelp.
"What's that? Wait... she's here, she's here somewhere!" A man shouted. June acted quickly, shooting the other dog with a dart to before it slumped over and went to sleep. By now it was chaos, men yelling at each other while others franticly looked around, aiming their guns at the open air. After the two sniffers were taken out June shifted and jumped, landing with a silent roll. One of the men spotted her and stood absolutely still, shivering as she stood up to her tallest height. He couldnt even breath as June suddenly whirled around and smacked him with her tail. He slammed agaisnt the wall, alerting the others who all turned and started firing at her. June ran and ducked behind an office wall.
"Dang it, cant a girl get a break." June growled to herself
She could hear footsteps approaching and she pulled out a regular rock. It was aolid as she suddenly rolled sideways out of her hiding spot. She smiled to herself and she suddenly spun while still on her side, looking like she was break dancing. Her tail slammed two men to the ground as he back legs kicked another into a wall, he slumped over clearly knocked out.
"Shoot her! Gosh darn it shoot!" The lead man seemed to yell. Guns fired but June slunk back into the shadows. She threw her rock agasint a wall farthest away from her. The men turned towards the noise, aiming their guns towards the rock. It gave June just enough time to jump out onto two men. She didnt work in blood so instead she punched each of them, knocking them both out with her Viscet strength. Now it was only the Lead man and two others.
"Get her, dont let her get away you idiots!" The lead man yelled and aimed at June. June raised her hands and pretended she gave up. One of the two men shot a bullet at her and she swiftly dodged, hrabbing him and pulling him into a headbutt. The second man rained fire on her but she dived under a desk. The lead man turned to jump on a rable to get leverage to shoot her. Just then June kicked the desk with hed back legs and slammed the man into the eall with it. The lead man gave a yelp and tried to run but June jumped up onto him. He struggled beneath her weight and gave a growl.
"H-How did I get beat by a a-animal!" The lead man spat furiously. June just gave a small snort and flicked her ears forward. She pulled a rope out of a small pocket and began to tie him up. The man continued to shout and even swore at June but she just smiled knowing she won. She then tied him upside down to one of the pffice fans. She went back to the computer and saw the files aere downloaded 100%. She put on her black gloves and gently took out the microchip, carefully placing it in the briefcase. June was about to shimmy up her grappling hook line when she turned and looked at the lead man who was glaring at her.
"Oh and to answer your question, have you ever thought about your perspective being upside down... no pun intended but maybe you're the animal to me hmm?" June said before waving at him and going up the grappling hook line. End-

Extra 2: explaining the artwork- Sorry it's a bit blurry, but this is a simple doodles of June trying to hack into a machine and shut it down before it self destructs. June only has 30 seconds before it blows up a building full of innocent people and June was set there being a government spy and all. The machine screen displays the words: Password needed, Self destruct in 30 seconds. June you can do it!!

    name - eizen
    gender - male
described in five words - reserved, defensive, damaged, corrupted, & possessive

    [word count 1117]
When had things gone so awry?
Perhaps the situation had always been dark. Edna was mature, far older than any mortal Viscet she’d ever known (not to mention human)--but she, too, had been clouded by the veil of youthful ignorance up until the days her brother had changed. Perhaps she had just brushed off the strange way he had acted in her decades of youth, when his out-of-character aggressiveness and snappy attitude had replaced his normally caring and lax outlook on life. Her big brother had just been stressed or tired, as she’d thought, nothing more and nothing less. Being a deity was hard, even if Edna was only a lesser deity. Sometimes that job had been hard for her - more often than not, in fact - and so to think Eizen may have been tiring out from it all wasn’t too far fetched.

    ---
Perhaps not farfetched, but still incorrect. Edna
just had not been observant enough to see what kinds
of crowds her brother was involving himself in, what
sorts of things a deity should have never been exposed
to. Even then, she couldn’t have said for sure whether
or not it was why he changed the way he did. Whether
or not she’d known of the changes, they were present,
and she felt foolish for not having noticed before.

Eizen had had the most beautiful fur; yellow and brown
mingling together flawlessly, rippling downward into his
brilliant brown mane all while his piercing blue eyes rang
through it all, giving him a powerful presence as a deity.
Eizen had been a primary deity, one of the strongest -
although weaker than an angel like Kratos, whose power
truly rang as strong - and yet he had taken this corruption
so poorly. Unless he hadn’t been expecting it, but--Edna
was not foolish. She’d known, even after her brother had
morphed into the finned monster with green eyes and a
snarl, that he had seen it coming. She just wondered why
he had given her no warning. Edna was the only one left
    to take care of him.

At first, she’d figured it was his shrine being fooled with
or tainted in some way--but it was still ever secluded,
unharmed by the mortals roaming Eterna. The only way
Edna had known of deities becoming corrupt was related
to their shrines, and yet--that was not the case for her
brother. What, then, could have possibly happened?
A low snarl spilled into her ears, which flicked back as her
blue eyes shot forward to stare at the massive male, his
finned tail swishing as though he were looking for some
form of a challenge. She stood still, however, straightening
--but this time, no recognition glimmered in those
    sickening eyes of his.

“...so, even I don’t calm you down anymore,” she
remarked, her voice sounding more disappointed - and
perhaps mournful - than she’d expected.
    What did she expect, though?
    Image

Her brother was gone--rather, any semblance of him. He wasn’t Eizen anymore--he was just...dragon. Monster. Thing. Her ears pinned back further and she stepped back, turning to leave. She couldn’t handle this. She knew what she was supposed to do to help him, but he was her brother. He had raised her from the moment she’d been nothing but a little wisp of a lesser deity, coaxing her out and into the world. To think of killing him, even mercifully...it was out of the question.

“Why didn’t you warn me, Eizen? Did you just expect me to take all of this in easily?” She was leering up at him, now, her caution forgotten. The dragon’s snarling ceased, almost as though he were listening for once instead of standing there snapping at her like a rabid animal after food. “Did you think I could fix this? Why did you have faith in me?! You know I can’t do anything without your help-!” Her ears flicked back again and her mane fell over her muzzle, slicked now as rain began to fall overhead like the sky was jeering at her, too. Laugh it up, sky. It’s not like I can do anything to you, either. The dragon rumbled lowly, quietly, and Edna jumped as she felt a muzzle pushing at her. Oh, Elemental--was he going to devour her like he had the other lesser deities? Her head pricked up--but she was again incorrect in her assumption as he instead picked her up by her mane - which hurt badly, enough to make her grit back a shout of agony - and trudged onward to the cave near his hidden shrine where he lived nowadays. She remained silent, almost as though she were observing what he was doing. If she was going to be eaten, oh well; it was a bit late to try getting away now. He was nearly twice her size at this point, the corruption spilling from him into the air like oil onto a clean set of sheets. She was actually quite surprised that it hadn’t gotten to her yet; corruption was like a virus for deities, spreading quickly and in a deadly manner until the original source of corruption was quelled--but it was almost like Eizen was controlling himself just enough to contain it, or he was doing something to make it lose its effect on Edna.

Her mind cleared as she was dropped onto the cave floor, attention diverted back to Eizen. He was staring at her now, eyes unreadable, like he were in the midst of a serious mental battle. Some part of that thought made her tempted to run. Before she could move, though, he was doing so first, tipping his head downward and nudging her closer before curling up around her much smaller form, shielding her from the rain still making its way inside thanks to the rather large opening. Edna stared at the unmoving form around her for a long, long moment, almost taken aback--well, she was taken aback, actually. How else was she supposed to react?

Her brother no longer had much fur, but instead hard scales, slicked by the rain as they held her. It was uncomfortable, laying against such a large, scaly thing, but--that scaly thing was her big brother, and that was comfortable enough for her. Her ears pinned back and she relaxed, resting her muzzle against the scaly side of her brother’s body while the rain drummed outside. She knew there was no fixing Eizen now. Not after he’d gone so long without himself in full control. But some part of her refused to give up that feeling of dependency, almost on the level of a Viscling. He just--he wasn’t Eizen. But she just--

He wasn’t Eizen anymore, but he was still her brother.

▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔

    [word count 683]
Lesser deities hardly existed anymore. Edna was probably the only one left. That was just fine with Eizen, though, because he’d had his fill of lesser deities at this point. They all tasted the same, fought the same way before they’d been devoured--it was boring, and frankly, he wouldn’t have devoured Edna even if he wasn’t bored of lesser deities as food. Edna meant protect. Edna...who was Edna, again? He wasn’t sure. He just knew that he had to protect Edna, the little one, and keep her safe. Maybe it’d come clear to him soon.

Trudging slowly along the cliff was Eizen, a large, powerful male with a hulking presence and a feral mind. He didn’t know when he’d changed, or why; he’d only known that it was coming to him while he was still pure of heart and mind, and there was not much he could have done. It was impossible for him to fix things now, anyway, when his mind consisted of nothing but food and territory and what was his. Edna was his. Cave was his. Maybe the whole island could be his, too--but that would make Edna upset, wouldn’t it?

    Who was Edna, again?

Eizen needed to lay down, and so he did so without a second thought, his green eyes shutting with a rumble of contentment. Well--until he heard voices, his ears twitching and eyes reopening with a soft snarl. He wasn’t feeling as territorial today - maybe because he’d been alone for so long - so he didn’t immediately spring up and snap at the few mortal Viscets that dared approach him, instead staring at them without moving while they stiffened and walked up with muffled voices - he couldn’t really understand speech anymore anyway - and eyes filled with awe. One of the pair - a female, young and foolish-looking - approached him curiously, staring and reaching out with a paw before touching his nose--and quickly she made a break for it, her companion following while they shrieked and laughed nervously--but for once, Eizen did not give chase. He simply observed them while they ran, mildly pondering in his mind whether or not mortals would taste any better than lesser deities.

Another shape caught his eye and he turned his head, staring forward into the eyes of a rather large male - not the size of himself, of course, but large for a normal mortal’s size - with piercing red eyes and a red body, red mane, red everything-- but held a presence that almost seemed too powerful for Eizen to bear being in the presence of. He squinted from the stifling feeling the other male brought, but did not break his gaze as he held it even at the far distance they held from each other. The red male’s eyes were almost knowing, glimmering with what seemed to be irritation and disdain as he stared at Eizen, like he were contemplating some serious decision. Was he there to attempt to kill him as well, Eizen wondered? Many had tried before, but none had succeeded, obviously. Mortals were far, far less powerful than they thought they were--and they never lived long enough to realize their mistakes and mend them. Too bad.
Eizen was brought back into the present as the other male, somehow seeming not mortal but still--like a mortal, tensed and his red eyes glimmered a blinding white-- before he shook his head and straightened, turning away in another act of hesitation, and then resignation. Eizen blinked slowly, perplexed by the indecisive angelic creature, and--then, the red male was gone. But where?
He was too tired to care at this point, really. He’d done too much thinking today. Thinking was quite hard when he was slowly losing himself by the day, some days uncontrolled and others slightly more in-control and memorable. It wasn’t like not remembering what he’d done the previous day mattered, anyway, since life consisted of the same routine.

Dimly, as the dragon laid his head down carelessly, he wondered if Edna knew who the mysterious snow-leopard Viscet was. Maybe he was a friend of hers.

    But who was Edna?
