What do they think about fish? They love fish, depending on what colors they have, and how easy they are to take care of, they prefer freshwater over salt water fish because they are easier to take care of and love tropical colored fish.

What do they think about fish?
Xe think's that fish are quite a hassle, honestly. They need to be frequently monitored, require having to go great lengths to make sure they have a stable environment, protect them from other animals in the rehabilitating center, etc. It's hard to do! As a somewhat-solution Lufti brings these little cuties around with xem when they go to treat and check up on other animals. In hindsight, it could just be better to have them stay in their big tanks, but xe insists that they come along with xem on xer travels. Each small, sick fish gets a quarantine tank that Lufti brings with xem. Xe has to be very careful with their movements, as to not jostle the little fish friends. Probably a little more effort than its worth...
Despite all the hard work; Lufti has a great admiration and appreciation of fish. Why else would xe dedicate so much to them? Xe thinks they are very interesting and beautiful creatures to watch.

What do they think about fish? Noriko just wants to live and paint happily in his house boat, but fish are jerks! For fun they always push on his house boat, making him mess up his paintings. He hates fish, unless they're friend and served with chips.

Fish... she loves fish. Esmeralda was born in a place of fish, raised with fish, lived with fish. Their shimmering scales, intricate colors and countless variations fascinate her beyond belief. The way they move is like a rhythmic slow-dance, a captivating show of their flourishing fins. Their exteriors shine like painted glass shards meticulously placed piece by piece to create so stunning a creature.

What she especially finds fascinating are the fishes of the depths, their photophores and otherworldly structures being her particular points of interest. The hatchetfish with its eyes that are akin to ghostly orbs, and the goblin shark with its voracious maw waiting for none, are her pride and joy as she herself have witnessed and come into contact with these beings. Dead they were, but still in their deathly slumber could she see their stunning quality.

Even those of common beauty she loves. The ancient yet peaceful koi she relishes in, their calming patterns and visuals always welcome to her. Ferocious betta too are what she finds beautiful, their tails like the skirts of dresses and tones strong as their hearts.

Esmeralda was born on a sprinkling April morning. She was birthed on a kindly fisherman's boat, as her mother was a stray who had nowhere else to go. The fisherman did not mind them, and took great care not to disturb them. When her eyes were able to open, she saw silvery fish lying by where she herself lay. Curiosity held her paw as Esmeralda made her way to the strange new creature, and despite the strong scent took in the glistening allure of those prismatic scales.

Soon she came to adolescence, and started participating in the fisherman's work. At first she'd hang about, waiting for a stray fish to come her way and she'd take it for herself. Then she started watching further, and soon saw that fish swam about below the waters the boat sailed upon. Before long she experimented in catching, first using her paws, then her mouth. There was a time where she went too far into the water with her face, and in she fell.

Esmeralda took care to hold in her breath and to keep calm. Her eyes were shut tight, and she made to swim. But as she opened her eyes, she took in the scenery before her.

Although the waters were dark, the kalon could see fish swimming in schools around the docks. She was so fascinated by the other world she'd forgotten to breath, and had to be fished out by the fisherman.

From then onward, she helped the man catch his fish, just to see it all again. Esmeralda would jump in, take in the sights, then snag a fish or two and come back to the above. Over time she put tiny fish and other things of the sea in little trinkets, and the man would help her put them on herself, her treasures.

What do they think about fish?
Penny actually feels sorry for fish. That's why she's made it her life ambition to free as many fish as she can, whether it be from fish tanks or aquariums or even live fish markets. That's not to say that she steals fish, she's actually a vet, who takes care of fish and sometimes she pretends to see thing in a fish that isn't really there and then sets the fish free, well they accidentally escape from her care.

Penny watched the fish behind the glass, her subconscious provided the species, blue tang, or Dory as most people called them. Her brain also provided that they had only successfully bred them in captivity once and that was only recently. She sighed, that meant that more of them would be imprisoned and kept for show. They didn't deserve this.

"Dr. Black?"

She was brought out of her thoughts and she turned and smiled at the director of the aquarium. His name was Mr. Flemings, he was handsome to say the least but it didn't make up for the fact that he had imprisoned thousands of fish just for money. She walked over to him and shook his hand, introduceing herself,
"Hello, Mr. Flemings, I'm Dr. Persephone Black, but most just call me Penny."

He just smiled and asked why she was here, she just smiled at him, while silently starting to lecture him about fish and then wanting to slap him for being so stupid but she just said,
"Im sorry for just dropping in unannounced, but I have some concerns about your Blue tangs, some of them are looking quite sickly, and I just wanted to make sure they were alright "
And silently added in her head,"And set them free."

Mr. Flemings was shocked but agreed quickly, not wanting to compromise the rest of the tank. Penny watched as he called his staff to removed the ones she pointed out, and quickly had them boxed and shipped to her clinic.Penny thanked the man before smiling and shaking his hand again, promising to return them as soon as possible. She silently walked through the aquarium, picking out her next victims in the tanks as she walked out the door, uncross get her fingers and smirked as she walked out the door, thinking to herself, Like taking candy from a baby.

What do they think about fish?

To put it simply, to Zirei fish are the essence of life. They are the keepers of the doors to happiness and peace. To own a fish is to own a creature of good luck and health, but to kill a fish is to condem yourself to years of suffering and foul luck.
Fish are creatures born to be respected and honored in Zirei's eyes. They are majestic in the way they move and each action is done for a specific reason, unlike other species. Zirei believes that to own a fish is a good thing, but only in a certain amount. To own too many fish within one tank is a cruel omen as it increases the likelihood of one or more to die unnaturally. Fish are to be kept in large tanks which provide them more than enough room to swim, hide, and form their territories in places of which satisfy them. The water is to remain pure, mixed with chemicals only when needed to keep the tank healthy, and the fish are to be fed the perfect amount, nothing over and nothing under. Fish are never to be touched or startled, as these creatures are not like the rowdy land animals. They are simply to be observed and enjoyed by calm spirits who desire to see them. They are not pets for small, careless children and should be taken very seriously.
Perhaps the most sacred fish to Zirei is the petal tail beta. This magnificent creature does not grow very large, but displays a breath taking tail which sways and ripples with each movement it makes. Do not be fooled, however, for this fish is not one for company. Along with the rest of its species, it is known to tear apart other fish. The reason for this to Zirei is simply the fact that the beta fish species is among the most sacred. To them, it is an insult to place them with lower fish, and so they attack the other fish and bring wretched luck upon the owner for many years. There are some lower fish that the beta species will not attack, however. This is for several reasons. The first being that the beta species holds certain species in regards as trustworthy or respectful. The second is that, if out numbered, the beta will see no purpose to attacking. Finally, these little fish provide the beta with aid in many ways, particularly in cleanliness.
While owning a fish is good luck, to kill a fish is a horrid thing to do. Be it for your own dietary satisfaction, an accident with the wrong fish, or a bad or intentional move of which stole the life of this sacred creature, the action is forbidden and viewed as a wretched crime against all that is good. Zirei believes that if a fish should die of something other than old age while under your care and protection, you will be cursed by its soul for many years to come. This curse can include minor things such as forgetfulness, small injuries, small mishaps, or clueless mistakes. It can also carry far worse plauges. Illness, death, major injuries, or even comas are also likely to happen to a creature who brings death upon a sacred fish.

Be cautious when you are thinking of whether or not to purchase a fish, as your choice could affect your entire life. Zirei owns several fish, all kept in special tanks and held in perfect health, as I willing to take in more upon a heart beat. Should you or a friend find yourself with a fish you can not handle, she will gladly take it in and care for it, removing the risk of a curse from your shoulders.
