Kohtaus is a highly adventurous sima who's always up and about doing this and that, often taking the riskier routes and traversing the harsher climates and terrains which with he derives from and his roots up in the north often happens to most commonly include mountain climbing or just general hiking out into snowy terrain. He's someone close to nature like that, having grown up in a lesser populated area with nature always close by and through that having learnt much about it. He's quite a resourceful and crafty guy, someone great to make use of what he has available and actually get something more complex out of simple materials which is shown through his tendency to alter his gear to his own liking for example. This together with his knowledge in everything nature has made him quite the great survivor which also has allowed him to push himself to limits most won't go.
Kohtaus is also someone who really knows who to keep quiet, sure when deemed vital for a task he won't make a sound but otherwise he really knows how to be loud. he's just someone who naturally has a voice one step intenser than what would be deemed standard and are someone commonly known to be called out on such around others, being continuously told to not be so loud even though that never has changed a thing with him. His loudness is also something further made noticeable by his excitable personality, he's someone who's very easily excited and never really seems to be able to sit still for long. Furthermore he's also someone very dedicated to his cause and on top of that very helpful, he's that one guy who can just suddenly approach you out of nowhere and ask if you need help carrying whatever it is you would be carrying or just simply volunteer for different organisations whenever he has the time for it. He's someone who's very easy to get close to if one can see past his loud and at times over the top exterior

Snow goggles
A pair of snow goggles he invested in at a later date to help keep, weather and wind out of his eyes when out hiking that he himself made changes to to have them more closely match the style and colours of his other gear. These unlike his other gear that he is known to go without from time to time he always wears, if not needed to protect his eyes he will keep them more over the top of his head instead, pushing his hair back and down more than it already is.
Winter jacket
A slightly thicker but most importantly windproof jacket that he acquired second hand a couple of years ago and has over time since then made his own additions to the piece as he saw fit. The two main additions including the straps along the back that was made mostly for decorative purposes but has with time proven to be quite convenient for carrying around equipment with, the clear tubes along the neck and the bottom of the jacket containing a warm slightly glowing liquid meant to look almost like lava that was added mostly just as a fun thing but also for the convenience of having something warm at hand when traversing colder climates.
Clawed boots
A pair of clawed boots that he originally got as a more sturdier pair of boots and then altered, taking inspiration from those monster feet shaped slippers he loves oh so much but are never really able to wear since he just tend to tear up the softer material they are most often made out of with his claws whenever he does. And the boots them self he got mostly just because he felt like it due to the previously mentioned but also give an improved foothold for his back legs.

I fell in love with what you have planned out for Kohtaus. Also I really liked this fire themed dude with snow gear on, and the heating liquid for his jacket!
