Originating from a poor family, Seth grew up without many luxuries. They could barely afford food and lived in a small one room flat. When he was 8, a stroke of luck led him to his career. A tailor took them under his wing as an apprentice and gave them the skills to make suits for other men. He created his business from scratch with a loan from a bank and now runs a company that makes high quality suits for a few regular clients. When he's at work, many of his clients seem fairly surprised at his 'lower-class' accent.

ｐｅｒｓｏｎａｌｉｔｙ
Seth is probably one of the clumsiest people you will meet in your life. If you were to look at his knees every day over the course of a month, you would notice that they are permanently covered in bruises. This is from all of the tripping over he does. His hands and fingers regularly have at least three plasters on them, with scars littered all over. He likes to believe that this 'conditon' was inherited from his mother, everyone else knows that it is caused by his severe lack of balance and his inability to actually walk in a straight line. His clumsiness stretches so far that he consistently manages to trip over this one cable in his office, and still hasn't tried to do something about it as he tells himself that next time he'll avoid it.

Seth is a person of many tastes, often describing himself as eclectic. In terms of music, he enjoys anything from classical music to heavy metal. As long as the music is good and played well, he finds that he can appreciate any style - even if it involves screaming into the microphone. In terms of food, he finds that he's pleased by a wide range of flavours from different countries. There's not a single dish he hasn't managed to like the taste of, however he draws the line on live animals or bugs and has refused to eat scorpions on several occasions. When Seth is free-reining - his term for when he lets out his creative side and designs his own clothes instead of following patterns - he takes inspiration from many different countries and cultures.

Many have described him as a very philosophical person. While he's sitting at his desk waiting for clients, or on his lunch breaks, he reads books about space, reality and existence - to name a few topics. He loves having deep conversations with people at any time of the day, particularly at night when he completely loses his filter on what he says which makes for entertaining reading later on, and pondering questions such as "Why do we dream?" and "What is consciousness?" Due to this, he is generally very balanced and fair when resolving issues with his customers as he has quite a calm attitude to difficulties. If he's not feeling 100% or is facing a disappointment, he will look up 'tricky philosophical questions' as a coping method.

Seth is an optimist. This state of mind enables him to always see the beauty in everything, even in places that 'normal' people would consider ugly but nothing about Seth could even begin to be thought of as normal. He finds that this judgement of his is especially evident when he's observing nature and her works. Nature is always there to brush her fingertips over the world and bring elements of beauty everywhere. For example, it's a stormy day and it's raining. Have you ever stopped for a minute to think how dangerously beautiful the thunder and the storm clouds are? They can wreak so much havoc in the world while still managing to look breathtaking.

Once he's found something he's interested in, Seth feels the need to completely sink into the interest until he becomes obsessive over it with the reasoning it will help him enjoy it more. After he watched his first Marvel movie (something which in his opinion happened far too late in his life) he needed to buy all of the merch, read as many of the comics as possible and delve into the many fanclubs online until he's had gone so far there was no way out. It might not seem like a very negative part to him, but it does end up being very costly. Seth also gets overprotective over his hair, so if anyone messes it up he'll get pretty annoyed at them for a while as he spends a long time trying to make himself look presentable, and he's very good at holding grudges.

In his world, everything must be perfect without any question. Painting not straight? Straighten it. Pencils out of line? Reorder them. Stitching not quite right? Start again. He strives for perfection in every aspect of his life, this probably stems from when he first got his apprenticeship. The man teaching him always said that he should always make every suit immaculate otherwise he would disappoint not only his customer, but also himself. It took him months to learn how to make the perfect suit, but in this time his goals of perfection started to slip into more and more of his daily life until there was no escape.

His perfectionist ways often lead to him being incredibly indecisive. Seth struggles with making decisions and the harder the choice he has to make, the more he struggles. This in turn makes his work style incredibly random and disorganised, however it doesn't hinder his ability to get things done on time. Most people would think that a disorganised work ethic leads to missing deadlines. The reality of the situation is that if he spends too long on one thing he will get bored and not be able to sustain working for as long as he would like, if he is allowed to swap between different tasks then he will get the job done much quicker than if he wasn't.

Seth lacks the ability to be subtle in terms of emotions. This is okay when it's an emotion he's perfectly happy to express, for example happiness. The problem arises when it comes to him trying to hide his feelings from other people, particularly feelings of romance. He's extremely bad at trying to conceal how he feels about people. If he dislikes them then he's very likely to have a look of disgust on his face or to be quite bitter towards them, if he has a crush on someone he's likely to stare at them and look away quickly when they make eye-contact with him.

ｒｅｌａｔｉｏｎｓｈｉｐｓ

Juhi - Seth first met Juhi a couple of years ago. He was just starting out in his own business and he was looking for a model who would be willing to let him try out his designs on. As an experiment to see what would happen, Seth emailed Juhi to ask if he would fulfill this role. He didn't really expect a reply to the email, let alone a yes. He was genuinely shocked when he not only recieved an email back, but the email was written by Juhi himself and said he would. About a week later Juhi turned up to his shop and tried on a few of the suits he had already made with only minor adjustments needed, however Seth decided that it would be more fun for both of them if Juhi was his model for some of his free-rein outfits. Over the short time they worked together they became pretty good friends and when Juhi left he even took away some of the clothes Seth had made. The pair are still in contact to this day.

Reconnaissance - Recon was an acquaintance Seth met once in the park when he needed someone to talk to, before he was offered his apprenticeship. Mix knowing your life was over before it even started with questioning your gender and sexuality, and you get a breakdown or three. He initiated conversation by walking up, sitting down next to them and just talking about the rough time he had been having. At first they weren't very talkative, but Seth didn't mind that because he just needed someone who would listen to him. The more he talked the more they warmed up to him, and while at first Seth percieved them to be quite strange, they turned out to give pretty good and honest advice. Seth regrets not having had the chance to get their number, he wishes that there was some way the two of them could meet again but he's never seen them at that park since.

Booker - Booker is a friend that Seth sees once every week at the zoo and they've known each other since Seth first visited. Unlike Seth who volunteers there, Booker has an actual job as a zookeeper and he's the one who supposedly makes sure Seth does everything properly, but the majority of their time is spent having fun instead of actually working. The pair don't always, however, help out in the same section of the zoo as Booker's interest lies in big carnivores and birds. When they do, there's plenty of messing around, joking about and having long conversations with several animals perched on or wrapped around them. Seth considers Booker to be fairly mysterious as he never shares anything about his emotions. Because of this he occasionally finds him weird as he doesn't know much about him, but still enjoys his company and the time they spend together.

Jelli - When Seth was still in school, he - like most people - used to have a crush on Jelli. It wasn't just her tall, model-like appearance which drew him in, but also her attitude to life. She seemed carefree with no worries, and no matter what was thrown at her she made the best of it. Jelli loved parties and enjoyed being around people, probably still does, to him she was perfect. Unfortunately, Jelli didn't even know he existed, but his small group of friends knew without him needing to tell them. Around these friends he would have acted normal, but as soon as she walked in he would become extremely jittery and shy. They worked together on a project once, and there was no way she couldn't have known since the whole time he was a blushing, stuttering mess. Seth doubts that she'll remember him, but sometimes he wonders what became of the beautiful girl he had a crush on.

Flint - Flint is one of Seth's regular customers who orders a new suit once a month, sometimes more, so that he can wear them to the lavish balls and parties that his sister plans. He's the son of a very wealthy family, therefore rich and regularly tips Seth extremely well, however it isn't the money that Seth's interested in - not at all. What Seth's interested in is the challenge this customer offers. Every time he dares Seth to create something new, unique and never seen before, as if daring him to test the boundaries of his creativity. Flint is incredibly fussy, like Seth he won't accept anything but perfection, however sometimes Seth imagines that he's being overly fussy to see how Seth reacts to the strict standards he gives him. The pair treat each other as old friends, but still regarding the conduct of buyer and seller with a polite and curteous attitude towards each other.

Monty - It takes quite a lot to annoy Seth as his normal state of mind is cool, calm and collected. However there are a small set of people who, over the course of his lifetime, have managed to make him so angry that he now considers them a foe. Monty is one of these people. As soon as this small man walked into the shop, a part of Seth knew that he wouldn't be having a friendly conversation. It might have been the hat, or maybe the attempt at an intimidating glare, but he tried to not be too quick to judge. It was obvious that he was scared by the fact Seth was taller than him, only by a few inches though, and to make up for his height he started to be incredibly rude to him. It came to the point where he could not and would not stand it any longer, so after a long speech and a good telling off he kicked Monty out of his shop and refused to serve him ever again, triumphantly slamming the door shut behind him.

ｈｏｂｂｉｅｓ
Stargazing
There's just something so wonderful about lying on your back, with a pillow and the occasional bag of popcorn, and watching distant balls of gas flickering and putting on a show just for you. Seth really enjoys appreciating the beauty in life and what an opportunity the night is to see thousands of lights in the sky. He has been frequently known to pull an all nighter, simply because he had stayed up to attempt to count the stars. This is a goal he never manages to complete, because stars are infinite and innumerable, however there is no harm in trying to do so. Constellation spotting isn't really his forte, he tends to make them up and usually messes it up anyway. He likes to say that he doesn't enjoy this because the stars are too majestic to try and give them set images.

Cross-stitching
Well, when you work as a tailor it's not a surprise that one of your hobbies will be needle and thread related. However, it seems Seth has gone one step too far. At the beginning of the month, he will order in cross-stitch kits off eBay and over the course of it he'll complete every single one. As he finshes them, they go up on the walls until they are full. Once there is no space available the cross-stitches get thrown out and he orders a whole new set. You wouldn't believe how many different cross-stitch patterns there are if you know where to look. To make it even more interesting than it already is (to him anyway) Seth enjoys doing themed displays of cross-stitches. For example, one month might be flower month and then the next will be images of the Grand Canyon month - the possiblities really are endless!

Collecting Christmas Jumpers
One of Seth's more minor hobbies is collecting Christmas jumpers. He claims that but when you see how his collection requires an entire room in his house to store it then you might start to question what he considers a major hobby. This is only really a hobby that takes place during the autumn-winter season. Seth spends time looking through charity shops and car boot sales searching or any Christmas jumpers to add to his already 103 piece collection. He got his first festive jumper as a Christmas present when he was 11 and he was instantly in love with them. It started to become more of an obsession when he bought his first one at the age of 14. If he lets you wear one then it's a sure sign he trusts you and you're special to him.

Volunteering at the Zoo
Seth regularly volunteers at his local zoo so that he can look after the reptiles there. Without pets of his own, he frequently feels the need to hold something and consider it his own. The zoo gives him the perfect opportunity to do so. Every Sunday morning, when his shop is closed anyway, he'll wake up early just so that he can be there by the 8 o'clock opening time to maximise the time he can spend with 'his babies'. He doesn't just look after the reptiles though, if help is needed somewhere else then he will gladly offer it. Most of his time, however, is spent in the reptile house with several snakes wrapped around his arms and a few lizards in his lap or on his shoulders with a mug of coffee to complete the look.

Ever since he was a young child, Seth has greatly enjoyed being alone. It might have been due to the lack of time he had to himself when he lived with his old family, so when he had it he treasured it. He's quite a big fan of Turkish cuisine because when he lived with his mentor, who was Turkish, he frequently served up homecooked meals that he learned when he lived in his home country. He's frequently described by others as a night owl, as Seth has pulled many an all-nighter enjoying the darkness. Due to his love for the night, he's not too keen on sleeping and sees little point in it. Another thing Seth really enjoys is anything related to his shop. He loves talking to his customers and finding out more about them, as well as seeing their reactions to the suits he's made them.

Seth has never found it in him to like fizzy drinks, not only are they too sweet but he also hates the fizzy aspect about them and how the bubbles just come up his throat. Silence is another thing which greatly annoys him, mainly because it's incredibly boring. He sees it as a waste of time, so to prevent any chance of there being moments of silence he continuously plays music wherever he goes. Seth tries hard to not discriminate against any of his customers, but when he gets people who bring in their wives or girlfriends wearing strong-smelling perfumes, he finds it difficult to not falter in his treatment of them. He really can't stand people who lie, especially when he knows that they are and when he confronts them they continue to lie to cover up their mistakes. If there was more honesty the world would be a much better place and it would stop as many people getting hurt.

Why would I be a suitable owner? This is probably the hardest part of the form. When I saw this plumie I instantly felt a connection to it, and the idea for this character came to mind. I clicked on the contest I saw that it had already ended. As soon as this competiton opened up, I was wary at first. It took the species to close to actually give me a kick up the butt to start working on this. I may not be the richest CS member and I'm certainly not the best artist, which therefore means that I can't promise I'll be able to spoil this lovely with art. I can, however, promise that this lovely plumerian will go to a loving home. They will not be mated instantly and I will take the time to roleplay with other people to find them relationships and maybe someday the perfect partner for them. Nothing will be rushed and they'll be frequently seen on the fanclub since I try to be as active as possible within the community.
