do their eyes open? Yes, he loves to see the world and craves to experience everything he can. He really loves to live in the moment hating to miss out on anything life has to offer him.
why do they trail stardust? I chose the name 'Astrophel' as it means 'star lover' in Greek. After falling to Earth he took on the shape of a creature from this world. Ultimately he was a star travelling the vast universe. That wild and untamed nature still exists inside him in it's brightest and purest form, it cannot be contained and so it leeks out as star dust. Since the star itself is his soul it is eternal and the dust never runs out. The second part of his name 'lover' comes from his desire to find his partner. He is forever searching for his soul mate and is a true romantic, believing in fate. This hope makes his dust appear even brighter and it changes depending on his mood. The happier he is the more stardust flows from within! He is a very kind and loving soul. He loves the quiet and tranquility within nature as it makes him feel he is back in the vast empty void that is space. That weightless and floating sensation of his past makes him feel relaxed and it's what he feels when he closes his eyes.
