His design makes me think of trails of stars. It also makes me think of snow flurries amidst the northern lights. Mistral is the name of a cold wind in the South of France (according to a baby name website). It's also fitting because when I look at him I think of a clear chiming sound (a little like at the start of the Madoka Rebellion movie). I like the sound of name Starset and I think it fits well because his pattern looks like star trails.
