Theme song?: I don't know how to link, but Wolf by Now, now
What do they paint?: Landscapes, dreams, everything and nothing and anything inbetween. Varying shades of neon chartreuse, lightning bugs coming alive out of jars, the golden apple falling from a branch.
Why do they paint it?: Painting is breathing. Painting brings a fullness to his existence. Oh, and because he loves the feeling of paint all over :p

Name: Percy
Gender: Male
Theme song?: "Beating Heart," Ellie Goulding
What do they paint?: Percy paints backdrops for plays.
Why do they paint it?: Percy once wanted to be an actor, but didn't have enough talent to get into anything, so it seemed. Director after director turned him down- he couldn't even score a minor role! Dreams crushed, he decided to just work behind the scenes instead- at least he would get on the playbill! He soon grew fond for the job, and figures that he is happier now than he ever would have been onstage.

What does she paint?
Ah, painting is a marvelous thing, is it not? Checkahz thinks so as well. She paints many things, all the time. Usually it's what she is feeling, sometimes dark, sometimes bright, sometimes so incredibly crazy that two people would argue over its meaning. But, there has to be something that Checkahz paints all the time, right? Something that drives her true passion for painting? Well, I'll tell you here, there is. Checkahz loves to paint spaceships and princesses and horses and lions, all sorts of little kiddie things! Disney characters? She knows how to paint them by heart! Princesses and princes? She's drawn so many that their individual stories have already meshed together in one, happy fairytale. Aliens and rocketships? So many that she can't count the stars that passed them by! She loves it, the innocence of it all in this otherwise horrid world. To bring that little bit of light, that little bit of shine, just that little bit of...glow! Makes living all the more worthwhile. Can we not just forget about everything else? Create our own fantasies, and then live them out? Don't think about wars, about murder, about anything upsetting, but instead live like everything is magical! There's no use in painting about stopping famine if you do nothing further to prevent it, right? Checkahz is at her wits end, if she even has any left, with all the bad things the world has come up with. She'd rather paint her rump and turn into a glowworm than dwell on the dark in the world.

Why does she paint it?
Other than the fact that Checkahz hates pessimism and would rather paint the world with light, Checkahz has a specific reason for why she paints so many different kiddie things. Why, it's for the kiddies! Specifically, the little children in the hospitals with cancer or just for a checkup. Checkahz has a habit of going to her childhood doctor still, always "forgetting" to go to grown up doctors if ever she needs a problem. One day, when she came down with something that felt like the flu, but ended up just being a cold, Checkahz noticed how big and white and bare the walls were. Why, that's no way for a children's hospital to look! It felt so cold, so dark with its sheer amount of white. So, Checkahz became a volunteer, and began painting the walls all around. It's actually how she got her name, to be quite honest. Her real name is Shequer, but most of the littler kids had a hard time pronouncing it, so they called her Checkah. The added "z" was on her part, because listening to toddlers say "Checkahz" was not only amusing, but also very adorable. Some of the kids she knows very well, for they basically live at the hospital, poor things. Mainly the little tots with cancer. Checkahz's heart goes out to them, and she goes to their plain, white rooms and asks them what they want. They always say, "Unicorns, or dragons, or elephants!" and it brightens them up a bit when they watch her paint on the white walls with her chartreuse paint. They get a lovely surprise, however, when it's lights out, and Checkahz's creation lights up their little rooms just enough for them to be lulled asleep by the seemingly-real fairytales on their walls. Not one room is the same, and now, thanks to Checkahz, not one room is just bare. If you were to ask Checkahz, she'd say that white walls lead to a lot of thinking time. And for a poor little kid in a hospital, there isn't a lot of good things to think about. So, Checkahz would give them something brighter to gaze at.

Personality
Checkahz is kindhearted, loving, and very generous. She's the type of Parra that would go completely out of her way to help someone else, no matter their gender, or religion, or looks. Some might say that she is so sickeningly sweet and optimistic, and while this is true, it does not mean that she is ignorant to the fact that everything isn't all sunshine and rainbows. Checkahz has a dark side, just like everyone else. She's tried to cover it up with her glow paint, but some things can't really be covered up by things like that. The difference between her and a pessimist is just one little thing. The dark things, don't weigh her down. Yes, they make her sad, and make her feel like no one is even helping at all, but she doesn't let the sheer scary nature of the world affect the way she lives her life, or her attitude. She's found that by constantly being upbeat and happy, that her life has been dramastically better than what it was. She has tried numerous times to tell people of her revelation, but as always they brush her off like she's some five year old. To sum her up in one sentence would be hard, for she has a lot of layers. If you were to ask her, however, she'd say something along the lines of, "The most wise things I've heard have been from the mouths of toddlers."

History
Checkahz is a very sweet woman, though quite and not that talkative. She isn't shy, really anything but, she just thinks more than she speaks. She's a bit of a loner, even though she loves social interaction. You could say that she likes kids more than she likes adults, because they're more innocent than those who have seen what the world can really be. Checkahz used to dwell on the past, and on mistakes, on the dark, the evil, the crude. Most of her life was spent in the dark, and not in the "innocence is bliss" way, either. Checkahz was told a few years back that she would never be able to have children, that she was infertile, and it crushed her heart. Even when Checkahz was a bit more on the pessimistic side of the spectrum, she still dearly loved children. Knowing that she'd never be able to have what she's always wanted put her into a dark depression, where she found herself despising everything. She even tried to convince herself that she in fact hated children. This eventually didn't work, and her anger slowly turned to despair as the reality dawned on her. But one little boy, and little young one by the name of Clue, showed her that even though things might be terrible, and ugly, and sickening, dwelling on them won't make them prettier. Clue was an orphan, and wanted to stay that way. A little runaway that she managed to befriend when he tried to start a fight with her near the local mall. She quickly made his friends disband from the scene, leaving Clue to be a bit sweeter without them there. He unknowingly led her into the light, and know Checkahz can never be happier. She thanks that little boy every day, even if he's a thousand miles away by now.

    Theme song?:
    What do they paint?
Detailed anatomical graffiti (In the style of Nychos)
    Why do they paint it?:
Jeckyll has always been interested in anatomy. Figuring out how the inner workings of one's body controlled or linked to another in a flawless action to reaction combo was never ending. His parents never had any trouble with it, allowing their hatchling to express himself in any way possible. So he drew, painted, sculpted, and even tried other varying fine arts. However, painting always stood out to him. The way such vibrant colors could stand out against any background and paint could be placed anywhere. The idea that paint, whether oil or acrylic or tempura, could be placed anywhere struck a chord in his head. Why not show off his work to the rest of the world?

Soon enough, he began to paint on walls. First his house walls, then the walls outside of his house, then moving onto abandoned buildings. Eventually his work began to catch on, however his talent was expensive and wasn't paying any sort of income. After weeks of thinking and trial and error, Jeckyll moved his talents towards working with both spray paints and regular paint. This option was cheaper and the colors turned even more vibrant than before. With his discovery of the spray paints he also uncovered glowing paint. This new and cool factor allowed for his art pieces to be seen in a new light, literally. Bones, veins, tendons, and other various internal mechanics would be coated with the substance, shining brighter with each passing night. His adoration for the arts and anatomy never faded, only growing stronger. And today you can truly see all of the hard work and dedication that he puts into every one of his pieces of work.

Brassi paints portraits of his passed family members

Why do they paint it?:
Dark ally ways, old cracked up bridges, abandoned houses... These are just some of his canvases. He paints these greatly missed parras on said canvases to express how they changed his life for the better, and made a little corner of his damaged heart glow with happiness and health.

    gender; female to male transgender
theme song?; for the love of a daughter - demi lovato
what do they paint?; several elements of the natural world; flowers that represent nature. starts and galaxies to represent space. oceans that represent underwater life.
    flowers space underwater
    why do they paint it?;
there was something that always called to him about nature. as a young parra he would often just go out in the forest, find a nice flat rock, and sit there for hours, just watching everything around him. the ways the breeze would cause the slightest movement in vegetation, the way the animals or insects would come and go, and how they interacted with their surroundings and each other. something just clicked with him. it was peaceful. calm. an escape from the horrors of his family life back home. his parents were always fighting, screams that haunted his sleep and kept him lying awake at night. his father was a male full of anger and hatred, and he took that out on his family constantly. nature was rasim's escape from all of that; it was his way to forget, even just temporarily, about everything else and just simply.. be.. as he grew older he came to realize that he had a talent for art. he started out sketching this and that, but as time progressed, it began to bore him. none of his art was any different than other artists. he needed to stand out. which is when he first stumbled across glow-in-the-dark paint. it made him stand out, it made him find his true calling.
his first piece of art with this paint was a delicate floral design, inspired by his time in nature. his second was just a sliver of what the galaxy had to offer, inspired by the time he would lay in bed, staring out his window at the stars lighting up the night sky. his third was a complex piece of life underwater, inspired by the simple fact that he had never even seen the ocean, and yet believed it must be a more simple, carefree life than that with which he had been forced to live. after that third piece, he never swayed his path, never changed his style; those were the only three things he has ever painted/drawn, to this day.
