very much. she is one of
his biggest idols and he
wants to be just like her

helps him with his
homework and arts and
crafts projects!

haikou probably has the
best relationship with his
father. he loves the upbeat
and sillyness of cheerio
and they always have lots
of fun together, going on
adventures or just sitting
at home coloring.

no doubt about it, haikou gets
his strike of sass from his
sister. he hopes that he
isn't too much of a pest
to her but they do seem to
get along well. he will sit
through any of her rants about
whatever is bothering her and
tries to help but she usually
doesn't seem to take his advice.

haikou is his brother's mini-me.
he follows hang-zhou around
everywhere, doing everything
he does! he loves his older
brothervery much and strives
to be justlike him when he
gets older. he always has lots
of fun playing videogames or
following him on his little
adventures.

narcolepsy! it means i fall asleep
a lot! except sometimes it's at
school or when i'm playing with
xiamen or hangzhou, where i
have to stop having fun.
sometimes other plumies laugh
at me but momma says not to
worry because it's kind of like
i'm a superhero! i never even
notice i'm sleeping!"

What's your name dear?
Changle! Like the city! And this is Jia. Their name means home.

They call him a little adventurer, for every day he disappears into the woods with his rabbit Jia, with a sandwich and a box of medical supplies. He fancies himself a doctor, and will come back plastered with bandaids, though he won't have a scratch. His family panicked the first few times, when he came back from the woods with his arm in a sling and Jia's paw wrapped in a combination of bandaids and bandages. They soon learned he simply liked to play doctor, and humored his little obsession, letting him put their bandaids on for them, or pretend that Jia really was hurt from running from the deer they saw in the woods and actually needed ice, a splint, and ice cream to get better.

His mind changes on what he wishes to do daily, from wanting to never grow up, to wanting to grow older faster so he can be a doctor, to wishing Jia could talk to him. Maybe he's superstitious and he might touch wood or red to remove a jinx, or never say that he's sure something will happen because once he says it , it won't come true. When he learned he was Year of the Rabbit, he wanted a pet rabbit almost at once, and that was how he found Jia, a little bunny in the pet store, after he begged his parents , telling them he was responsible and would clean the cage, brush its fur and make sure to feed it every day.

He asks for goodnight and a lullaby before he goes to bed, asking someone to whisper to him: Stay this young forever dear.

"Meet Yingkou. He's a little straight boy, in all ways normal from the view of society these days. Often called Ying by his closest of closest friends, is by far the hardest kid to handle out of Lina and Cheerio's brood. Though they seem like they have him under control, it is he who controls them to be honest. His rambunctious, needy, attention-seeking attitude comes from the way he was brought up. Because he has two older siblings, he actually feels like he's being ignored and that his brother and sister are more pampered by his parents a lot of times. So, he's almost always doing something to get their attention. Whether it's swearing like Xiamen or trying to cosplay like Hangzhou, he loves to be in the spotlight in everything he does."

As the resident foodie of his family, he wants to try every kind of food he can and make everything he tries himself.
