"My favorite thing about winter is the serene feeling of it. There's nothing quite like watching the snow fall, and land silently upon the ground. There's this sense of peace that you can get only in the winter time. When you're out in the woods it's almost like time has stopped, everything is so quiet. I feel like i can be at peace with myself and the world. That is my favorite thing about winter."

Favorite thing about winter:
Cole's favourite thing about winter has to be the steam that you breath out due to the cold air that surrounds you.
When he was little, he was always told how the steam would signify that you had a fire in your belly which symbolised
strength, courage, and confidence. Cole has all three of these things, though he does get a little nervous every
now and then. He mostly likes the steam due to the fact he likes to pretend he's got dragon breath, however.

Favorite thing about winter:Snowbelle loves to go outside in the winter weather and make snow angels and build snow forts. She loves to play with her friends and build snow forts and throw snow balls with them all. She loves the Cold air that blows through her fur as she runs outside. She likes to go it into the woods and shake the trees to make huge snow piles and jump into them. Snowbelle also loves Christmas because she loves decorating the Tree in her own unique style. She enjoys getting a bunch of gifts and giving gifts to other people like friends and family. She is obsessed with hanging lights up and has some in her room and outside her house. She also hangs lights up on all the trees around her house. Whenever it gets too cold Snowbelle likes to stay inside and read books. She hates when winter is about to end and gets upset. Her fur is very thick so the snow isn't that cold to her when she goes outside. Her mother named her Snowbelle because originally she planned on naming her belle but then when she had her baby it was Winter so Belle had become snowbelle.

Favorite thing about winter: The stillness. Oscar has always been one to appreciate the quiet moments in life. The lapses in conversation where time seems momentarily frozen. The second of anticipation, the collective breath, before a major event. The dulled sound experienced from being underwater.
And in winter, it seems, this sensation is magnified tenfold. Oscar loves the blanket of white draped over the land, stifling sound and color. He loves the quite reverence of the cold. He loves the frozen slumber of the ponds, rivers and streams on their way to the ocean, only to be woken again by spring's warm touch. He even loves the vicious snowstorms, driving everyone inside to settle down with a cup of coca. But most of all he loves the peace, and the feeling that nothing need ever happen again. (146 words)
