Hello, my username is XRandomCatX and I am currently trying out for this darling little boy. This is the second mako I am trying out for. Eponine was my first mako.

The Story of How We Found Him;;
Note; this story is based off of the prompt in the first post
While wondering around the streets for a nice walk Eponine and I noticed a small makoatl child hiding in the alleyways. He opened his mouth to say something but gave out a squeak when Eponine walked over to him and tried coaxing him out of his hiding place. The poor boy was terrified and tried to squirm away when Eponine picked him up the scruff and carried him to me. The poor baby had unkept hair and dirty fur, some unnoticeable wounds, and seemed starved. He opened his mouth to speak again. "W-would y-you help me? I'm hungry and Mommy left me alone for a long time. I'm hungry and I want mommy." He started to cry. My heart melted I desperately wanted to help the little mako child. I put him down and let Eponine comfort him. Eponine tried comforting the baby like a mother would to her children. Wrapping her body around him and nuzzled his cheek. Once I saw them both together I knew they would both have a lasting bond between them. I called Eponine and told her she could care for the kit. Even though Eponine is an emotionless mako I could see her eyes lit up with joy. We took him home and cared for him until he looked like a new makoatl. Of course we replaced the dirty rags he was wearing and gave him a nice green bandana. We eventually found out that he has EPS but that didn't change our views on him. In fact it made him even more cuter and lovable.

The Mako's Name;;
Since Eponine has a French background she decided to give the child a French name.
The boy was named Gavroche (pronounced Gahve-rosh) but only Eponine and I can use that name. He dislikes it when others say his name so his nickname is Gaven.
In a French novel, a character named Gavroche was an orphan child living on the streets. He ended up dying as a child.
This made me make the connection with the baby mako. If you think about it, the Gavroche from the novel was also young forever. Gavroche also means street urchin in French but we don't tell Gaven about that. It just reminds us of how we obtained our little darling.

• Thoughts on his syndrome - Gaveroche personally hates having EPS since it means never growing up but Eponine tries to comfort him by saying its a great thing and he should be lucky to have it.

Why do you want to take him home/what will you do with him;;
I wanted to take this boy home because I just wanted to give him the love his mother didn't give him. Reading his story left me heartbroken and determined to help this little boy. I want him to have a good life and be brought up by another mako who will love him.
As for my mako Eponine is a quite and reserved mako so little Gavroche would be nice for Eponine to bring out a motherly side in her. She would be Gavroche's adopted mother since he needs a motherly figure to care for him. As for me, I would spoil little Gavroche rotten. I would order art of him and try to get some friends for him. He would be well taken care of with a nice home, food, and shelter that he didn't have in the streets. I just want to care for this little guy and make sure he has the best home possible.

Why do you want to take him home/what will you do with him;;This Mako reminds me of a Film i loved to watch as a Child. It's called Oliver and Companie. I would give this little fella a Home, because He reminds me of a Kitty i found a Few Days ago. She wasn't that good and we went to the Vet and made a Check up und gave her a new home. I would do the same to him. Taking him home, Washing him for first, taking care of his bruises and after this i would cuddle him into a Blanket and Go to bed with him without letting him go.

It kind of makes the hard work others put into it early useless if it just keeps being lengthened again. :c
