Cora acts a lot like her sister when she's around lots of other Plumies. She's out-going and creative; always ready with a quick retort and a sarcastic remark. But when she's alone or with friends, she mellows and lets down her guard. There's nothing she likes better than to just lounge around - either reading a book, doodling fan art, bird watching, or tinkering with her gadgets. If you try to interrupt her, though, she'll give you a venomous glare and ignore you until she's done. She's not much for chatting, but if she does talk, it's mostly about books or whatever her sister is up to. Her room is her own personal domain; to trespass is to commit treason. To the untrained eye, it looks like a mess - gears, tools, and wires cover the floor while books, papers, and pencils cover her shelves and desks, but she thinks the arrangement inspires creativity.

relationship with Emmeline::Ellie, as she calls her, is a big role model to Cora. She admires her confident attitude and oftentimes tries to copy it. Sometimes Ellie can get on her nerves when she accidentally says something rude or sassy without thinking. Since they both have quick tempers, they fight a lot, but never for long. Cora just can't hold a grudge long enough for any real problems to come between them. As a peace offering, when she's finished working on a gadget, she likes to show them off to Ellie. Her sister often receives a little necklace of some sort on a weekly basis. Cora doesn't really care if she wears them or not, as long as she doesn't find them in the trash. why I want her::I told myself that I'd stop trying out for these, but that adorably distant design broke my resolve.
The first thing I saw when I looked at her were the wheels, and that got me thinking about wagons, pioneers, and journeys. Then it got me thinking about watches and time, since she can't ever get older. Then blue and the bird reminded me of the freedom of the skies. The combination of those and the tan made me think of oceans and seashores, which in turn made me think of Percy Jackson (who I adore). Most of all, though, the design overflows with nostalgia for home. I grew up on the coast and she really reminds me of that time in my life, when I thought I could never grow up.
I don't yet own a Plumerian, so she'd have my nearly undivided attention. I think I could give her a good home.credits::I drew the two top headshots. The one below was by purplepandaj.
