Hello, my username is LyreAndWildfire. You may have seen me around the forums, or trying out for dragons but most likely not. I am a non-owner at the moment, but i'm hoping for that to change soon. As for nicknames, I don't mind what you call me ^.^

Electro, it seemed very fitting to a dragon like the one I see them as.

Female, I couldn't picture this dragon any other way.

quirks:
Electro twitches at the mention of the night, or anything related to it.

Lectro is also afraid of bugs, particularly lightning bugs. They really seem to creep her out, her reaction is somewhat similar to how you would if you saw a spider in your house, but worse. I don't know exactly why she hates them so much compared to all the other bugs out there, but I don't really know much about her anyway.

Electro is an Anti-Social bean who would much rather stay inside playing video games than being in the light of the world. She really doesn't like social contact, and feels uncomfortable with it. Electro spends her time playing with electronics and such, and she has very bad social anxiety. She is scared of doing things wrong all the time, another reason why she thinks she needs to stay inside. She is insecure, and i really don't know if there is any more to her sometimes.

but there is, like there is in anyone and I have seen it myself. There are times where she has helped me in what I was doing, which I found a little strange, since it really wasn't like her to do anything but sit alone in her room. She will do things like this every now and them, I think that she really does want to be a good person but doesn't know how. Or maybe she is just too afraid to try? I don't know yet, but I sure hope I can figure her out soon.

Whenever eating jelly babies, Sprite will often bite the heads off first. Why? Well, it's a long story. Sprite's friends used to tell him that jelly babies were alive, and although being put off by this, he still found them so delicious! So he decided to find a way around this problem. By eating the head first, he believes that he doesn't cause them pain. Even after realizing that they weren't alive, he still kept this habit.
College has a fire drill at 2am. I'll just hide under my blankets and ignore any knocking.
Sprite will also bundle himself up in blankets whenever he feels afraid of something, as he feels protected. For example, at night before bed, he will go around and do everything he needs, brush his teeth, wash his face, turn off any electronic equipment. Then come the final light. The final light. Something he dreads. Every night is a challenge, and it all happens so fast. Turn off the light and then immediately scamper into his bedroom and dive under the covers before wrapping himself up in the blankets.
short personality To sum him up, Sprite is the 'momma' character. He's very maternal, soft and gentle, but defensive over those he loves. He's just so huggable and cute! c: Sprite finds it hard to say no, as he is scared that people will turn on him, like a few have done in the past. This has left him slightly paranoid about making friends, but makes them his family once known enough. Sprite is very playful, and is quite whimsical in a way, having an odd, curious sense of nature that seems to know no bounds, especially when it comes to rules, he tends to forget about them and do whatever his mind is brewing up. Sprite is a hugger, and has no control over his strength oe has no idea how strong he is, often almost strangling people when showing them his gratitude, or crushing their hand in a hand shake, or squashing them flat like a pancake when couching them! c:

name: Kokoro

gender: Male

quirks:Kokoro is a world traveler. He loves to visit other countries and it is his dream to get to them all. That being said, Kokoro has to have a jar of dirt from every country he visits. However, this dirt cannot be any sort of dirt you find lying about the road, or in a farmer’s field, or what have you, no this dirt has to be dug up past the topsoil. Kokoro is very specific when it comes to this, and he has to have just the precise amount of dirt in the container or he has to start again. These little jars all go in his pouch which he later transfers to a shelf in his home.

Another quirk Kokoro has is that he never refuses a challenge. This includes silly challenges like dares, if someone has told him “I dare you…” or “I bet you can’t do this…” he does it just to prove he can. He doesn’t like to give up and he truly doesn’t like to let other people get the best of him.

Kokoro is a very serious gentleman, so he doesn’t really know how to joke around or how to take a joke, so he will take everything you tell him to be the truth, seeing as he just doesn’t understand the concept of the word ‘Joke’.

Because Kokoro has no idea what a joke is it is safe to say he doesn’t know what sarcasm is either. He often taken aback by what people say, but because he cannot tell the difference between sarcasm, jokes, and normal speaking he often believes whatever he is being told… Even if it is the sky turns purple on the second Tuesday of every week.

Stubborn/Daredevil

He is very passionate about what he does and what he believes in, and doesn't let others walk all over him for what he believes in. That passion brings out this stubborn daredevil’s stubborn side because he refuses to budge on anything that he believes in or wishes to do. If challenged he will accept and won’t back down even when others tell him it is stupid or dangerous.

Reliable/Helpful

Kokoro is, however, reliable if you are a friend in need. He doesn't like to see his friends suffer so if needed he will help out with whatever he can whenever he can and however he can, even if it is 1am and he is in the middle of sleep, he will wake up and go and help.

Adventurous/Knowledgeable

He definitely has an adventurous soul because he cannot stay in one place too long. He doesn’t have a house, but lives in a tent he carries with him in his backpack wherever he goes, whether that is a new country or a different city exploring and learning as much as he can. Every day is a learning experience for Kokoro and he soaks the knowledge up. He feels it is important to be well learned, and he also feels it is important to have a dream to strive for and keep the hope alive on achieving that dream by working hard.

Willing/Argumentative

To Kokoro everyone deserves a chance, and everyone is a friend until proven otherwise, he is always willing to listen to someone and forgive them if he feels they deserve it. However, he does have a temper and it spikes frequently leading him too many arguments.

Honest

Doing the right thing is extremely important to him, and so he will own up to his mistakes even if he gets in serious trouble because of it, however, he isn’t afraid to lie if he needs to do so whether to protect a friend or keep someone in the dark about something that will hurt their feelings greatly.

name: Kodokuna (孤独な) meaning "lone" in Japanese. He is better known as Kuna.
gender: Male
quirks: Kuna has two particularly odd quirks; one a daily ritual and the other just a strange habit. Every morning when he wakes, Kuna makes a little origami paper crane. He has a stack of patterned paper and anything he needs to decorate it, such as string to hang it up. The reason for this is when he was young, his mother told him about an ancient Japanese legend about if someone makes 1000 paper cranes, they will be granted a wish. He makes more throughout the day usually, but it doesn't matter if he doesn't. He just has to make that one crane every morning. It is Kuna's way of keeping his mother's memory alive. Every time he reaches 1000 cranes, he wishes her happiness, where ever she may be. This little ritual has been apart of his life since he was young, he just cannot properly start his day without it.

Another quirk of Kuna's is collecting anything that glows in the dark. Glow sticks, stickers, little plastic glow-in-the dark stars, pencils that glow under a black light. If it glows in the dark, or under a black light, he buys it. He is almost always seen with at least one glow stick hanging from his tail. Even his house is a glowing galaxy when it gets dark. His friends think it is because (although he would never admit it) Kuna is afraid of the dark. Other's think it is because his markings appear to "glow" because of his black fur. That is Kuna's special secret though; he's never told another living soul why he collects the beautiful glowing decorations. [[ 271/450]]
short personalityFrom the time he was young, Kuna has been alone. Not literally of course, but he feels as though life is his own journey, and others only ever seem to be temporary companions for the ride. Even his name means "lone." He grew up a lone child, with his lone mother. He does have trouble letting people in and seeing the real him, he starts to get close to someone, but then becomes afraid they will soon leave. Kuna has always been a great lover of animals, they never leave unless they have good reason too. Despite this, Kuna is actually quite friendly and enjoys socializing and making new friends. He simply believes he has to face the challenges life throws at him on his own. Basically, Kuna is the one in the coffee shop who makes small talk and laughs with strangers, but always leaves alone.

Others see Kuna as quite mysterious, as he doesn't often talk of himself or his life. Very few have even seen his house. But he is content with his life, and wouldn't change it for all the glow sticks in the world. He has a gentle nature, but can become irritable and nervous around people who are trying to push closer to him. It takes a lot of persistence, but he eventually does open up like a spring bloom.

In his spare time he likes arts and crafts, namely origami, reading comics and watching animated movies. His favourite would be "Spirited Away" or "My Neighbor Totoro." Kuna may look a bit scary and different at first, but he is a very loving and loyal friend once you push past and win him over.

Nyx's quirk is that he often mixes up daydreams with the past. He will dream about an event that may seem perceivable to him- such as another bean he knows giving him a cake. If he runs into that same bean again, say, a month after, he will comment on this event. The other bean will, naturally, deny it, leaving Nyx protesting that it really did happen.

Nyx's head is in the clouds. He will often be found daydreaming, imagining things that could happen if he was an astronaut, or what will happen when he reaches a certain age. He is also a bit of an over-analyser- he will pick at situations until he reaches a conclusion that is satisfactory to him, disregarding the other beans in the scene.

Nyx can also be rather child-like in the way that he is absolutely innocent. He speaks in such a way that he sounds like someone much younger than he, and his views on the world can be childishly sweet and sometimes bordering on narrow-mindedness. Along with his childishness, Nyx is bubbly and always up for a game. If not a game, Nyx can chatter on about seemingly random things that can always keep younger beans enraptured. He considers it a gift, as he loves to entertain children.

Another one of his main traits is his clumsiness. Nyx is always dropping things or tripping over his own tail, mainly due to his head being so far up in the clouds. His clumsiness may pertain from his child-like aspects, giving him a younger look still.

quirks: Abaco only has one quirk; twitching. This weird twitching is caused by excitement. Whenever he is excited, he always has little twitching spasms. A funny thing about this quirk is that if he is holding an object and he starts twitching, he throws the object up in the air and starts squealing. But when his twitches are over, he forgets that he even did it, so he technicaly he doesn't even know about this quirk.
short personality Abaco is an enthusiastic and lovable bean. He is always outside talking to others and making them happy. He is always a good listener and he loves chatting about his day with others. This bean will never lose his happiness and spirit. There is almost nothing that will make this bean sad or upset. He cares about everyone and their problems, and he is always a shoulder to lean on.

Idex has a very difficult time understanding the concept of personal space. He doesn't understand why one would need personal space, nor why anyone would want it. He enjoys the company of others, and though he wouldn't admit it, being in close proximity with someone keeps him rather calm; he doesn't just do it to freak them out. Well, maybe sometimes.

When with others, Idex tends to always be touching one of them in some way, whether it be leaning on them, brushing them with his tail, or poking them a bit. He leans very close to them when he's speaking, his voice getting very quiet, and he doesn't really notice when they get uncomfortable. When they tell him so, he doesn't really acknowledge it, he just gets this creepy smile on his face and continues to speak.

Distant:
Idex appears to be a very reserved Bean. He tends to be very calm, cool and collected, never really losing his temper. He's the type of Bean that hovers near a group, keeping quiet but as much a part of the conversation as anyone else.

Hard to understand:
Doing things his own way is something Idex is best at. He doesn't like conforming to rules and often finds his way around them, usually through a more complicated and complex route.

Gullible:
Idex is surprisingly gullible for his age. He tends to believe anything anyone tells him as if it's straight-from-a-book fact and it's hard to correct him otherwise. This has gotten him into a lot of sticky situations.

Difficult:
As well as gullible, Idex is very stubborn. It's hard to get him to change his mind or his ways without a million reasons why he should do so. Lucky for everyone else his opinions and habits aren't too horrible. Some of them anyway.

Creepy:
Overall, Idex is just plain creepy. He always gets these looks on his face like he's plotting something malicious, and he often isn't heard from for hours. He's way too touchy with others, speaks in a very dark matter, and often uses big words nobody understands, or something he just made up. A lot of Beans are afraid of him.

quirks: Henton has an extreme problem with making/keeping eye contact while conversing. He gets fairly shy and skitters his gaze to meet really anything else other than another pair of eyes. He can't help it, either; he seems like he's not listening to you when he's searching for something else to focus on and help calm himself down, but his hearing is very keen.

short personality Henton is a skittery, shy, nervous, and introverted JBD. He doesn't really like company and hates to get stuck in an inescapable social conversation or event. You have to be extremely close to Henton for him to calm down a little when around you. He never really starts conversations and prefers listening if you really must talk to him. He also doesn't go around looking for means of social activity; you kind of have to approach him first and try to dig a little deeper with him to be able to get a single word out of him.
