Why? He loves the simplicity of this leaf, and also how, pretty much, each leaf has little mini leaves. It makes him giggle. XD He also uses it as a tool to.... Tickle! It's a little bit like a feather, what with the shape and little leaves, and so its perfect to make other equids laugh along with him! <3

Why? The reason as to why Bastion likes Ivy is simply due to his love for finding abandoned places and ruins where the plant normally climbs up structures that have long since been left behind by whichever settlers have previously staid there. For him, the plant is attractive to the eye and has a mystical feel to it for it often spreads vastly in forested areas - a place he likes to go when he wants some time alone, or simply when he wants to relax or calm down. During summer and autumn, the vines of the Ivy plant grow little delicate flowers and later berries. These berries, though more commonly eaten by birds, are some of his favourite to eat and so he looks forward to the more warmer months to come just so he can have a little taste.
