Name: Karilyne
Song: Somewhere over the rainbow
Explanation of song: Somewhere over the rainbow really expresses her mood of dreaming to get out of reality. To live a fantasy. A world that's not real. She has lucid dreams quite often (which if you don't know already is waking up in a dream) That is why she sleeps in class and doesn't pay attention. Sometimes if she stares into space and daydreams, it's like living in a whole other world

Resistance is futile. I can't sleep knowing I didn't try out for her <3
. : Name : .Viveka
Nickname; Veka
The distinction between what is eternal and what is not.
. : Song : .. : Song Explanation : .Though she's based off a swan, a creature of light and purity, I just sense something sinister about her personality. Is it a coincidence that her horns look like dry, brittle bones or that her claws are blood red? Probably, but my first impression of her was seared into my mind. The song Lolita has always been one of my favorites - Lana del Rey is an excellent artist, in my opinion. It's about a romantic vagabond; delicate and dark at the same time. Lana's voice in this song is the voice I hear when imagining what this bean would sound like. All in all, I decided this song would be perfect for Viveka.
. : Dream : .It was no simple matter to fly in a storm.
The winds buffeted her from every angle, relentless and cruel. Like a current in the ocean, it tugged and tore at her pale fur. The chilly air sluiced through her body in crisp, sharp waves. Dust and grit flew into her eyes, and blinking to clear them was only greeted with another onslaught of debris. The dragon beat her wings with all her might, but still she seemed to be getting nowhere.
Vaguely, in the back of her mind like a face at the end of a tunnel, Viveka felt a twinge of wonder. Had she always had these wings? It sure seemed like it. Confident that her suspension in the air would remain, she gave her extra limbs an experimental flex. The creamy feathers spread, parting and allowing the wind to curve through them. It felt as natural as breathing. But still... she had this tiny feeling that she was not supposed to have wings. No matter.
Where was she? Another question she couldn't answer. Prying her eyelids open to a crack, Viveka observed dark clouds and a dark sky. Hazy objects whizzed around her. There was no ground in sight below her; nowhere to land. A thin sliver of light, no larger than the slit of her vision, shone through the smog. It cast an unnatural glow coupled with comfortable warmth. If she could just reach that light, perhaps this horrible storm would go away. Emboldened by this new task, the slender female flapped harder. An object connected solidly with her thigh and sailed away, causing her to wince. It hadn't really hurt, though she was sure it would leave a bruise. She was more concerned with righting herself since she had flipped over from the impact. This flying business was harder than it looked.
Clenching her teeth, she forced her lids open again and scanned her surroundings to gain her bearings. Where had the light gone? Darkness, only that awful inky darkness. Frantic now that her only hope had disappeared, she glanced up and nearly gasped aloud.
A monstrous beast, long and thin, towered over her. Viveka could barely make out it's silhouette, but she sensed hostility rolling off of it in waves. Not good. Not good at all. A slimy forked object whipped out of it's mouth and rattled near her head. A snake, she realized with apprehension, her eyes widening despite the dirt flying everywhere. Nothing good came out of snakes. She noticed the light and was relieved until the figure was finally illuminated. It was massive, with gleaming yellow eyes and shining obsidian scales. A few of the objects clanged into it's side and immediately dissolved. Body armor? Acid touch? Her imagination ran wild with the possibilities. Surely this creature had a million different defenses and even more ways to kill her.
Now terrified(not that she wasn't before), Viveka shrieked wordlessly and lurched backwards. She beat her wings until she though they might fall off, yet like before, she hardly seemed to move. The cobra leaned closer, hissing like a thousand cats. She could smell it's rank breath, see it's swordlike fangs. The dragon wondered briefly what it would feel like to be impaled by them, venom coursing through her veins. Then, right before it could strike, some sort of box smashed into her head with a metallic clang and Viveka was engulfed in darkness.
Panting, the female bolted upright in her leaf pile. The dewy sky above her was barely dawning, from what she could see through the treetops. A stray twig grazed her thigh in the same place the first object struck, but there was no pain. So it was all a dream? She twisted around and peeked at her shoulder blades. No wings. It was a few minutes before Viveka could move from staring at her back. The forest was silent around her, save for a chirping bird. Abruptly, disappointment coursed through her body. "Ugh," she finally pronounced into the new morning. "Why couldn't I have finished that dream?"
