Kichi is a feisty girl with strong morals and an ambitious look on life. Her size hold no restriction for this determined bean. She is focused on any goal she sets for herself and gets disappointed if she is unable to complete it or is forced to quit. Kichi's shortness is seen as a negative, but Kichi believes this is what makes her unique. She wouldn't change herself for anyone, and she finds her size helpful in many of her adventures. She is a lover of nature and finds comfort in sunlight, preferring the day overnight and the countryside over the city. Kichi doesn't have a lot of the social norms that other people have, so her people skills are lacking, but it doesn't have anything to do with her size, its just the way she socializes. That doesn't stop her though from trying to be friendly.

Personality: Tortoise is a very curious bean, as well as easily distracted. She can be sitting in the backyard one moment, then following an ant down the sidewalk the next. She's also clumsy due to her slightly-too-short-legs. She's an adventurous little thing who loves climbing trees but doesn't love getting down. Tortoise is often easily confused by simple things and quick to believe anything she's told. She's not the sharpest tack in the drawer, but she makes up for that by just being accidentally adorable.
Favorite snack: Tortoise's favorite snack is pretty simple: Shredded cheese melted on tortilla chips. She's very stubborn about calling them "cheesy chips" and gets annoyed at beans who tell her they're called "nachos".

Dear Pen-pal,

My name is Mau Mau (pronounced Mow Mow but without so much W sound) Kattalakis! First off I must apologize for sounding rather stuck up as I write. I have a hard time with non-verbal communication as I don't want to get the wrong idea across, so I write in a very robot-esque style! Oh yes, I am a fifteen year old female Jellybean Dragon and well as being extremely short! Most beans my age are german shepherd sized while I resemble a rabbit in comparison. As you most likely know from your own english class, we have to type each other a letter/email once a week every Sunday! Sorry for saying that, it's probably rather annoying as you've most likely heard it a million times over from your own english teacher. But Mr. Tanzania (that really is his name) was very insistent that we add it into our letter.

To get to know each other a little bit better why don't we write about who we are and what our favorite snacks are? You know, in case you ever come to Ogunquit, Maine for some random reason and I decide to share my food! My favorite snack is chocolate. It is very bad for me, as I am allergic to chocolate, but it just tastes SO good! Yes, it will definitely come back to bite my furry behind SOMEDAY, but that day is not so close as to panic. I like to carry around MnM's in my pouch-loose of course so they're more fun to find and then chase around in there for a while- but only the yellow kind! It's my favorite color, just so you know. Anyways I only eat food with the letter M on it as it is my favorite Letter. And preferably yellow food. It always reminds me of sunshine and makes me feel better when I'm down. I know, it IS a bit picky of me, but I was raised an only child and will remain eternally adorable so I don't have much in life to worry about. Except for everything else in my life, that is.

I don't think that I have multiple personalities or anything, but I do have different-and very random-moods and ways of acting. Most of the time I'm really quiet and absorbed in a fantasy novel. I'm that "book kid" who everyone kind of knows but no one really does. I like to believe that it's because I have hidden depths, but I'm probably just antisocial. On the other hand I can be Very outgoing and social! I will talk non stop, randomly, for no reason at all. And skip around the house singing Disney songs. I do this about once a month, usually when I'm stressed over something. It's a very light and care-free state of mind, actually.

I don't always look like I want a friend (as my head is usually in a fantastic, futuristic, book world) but in truth I like to be alone among other people. It does make sense if you think about it. I like to do my own thing, while having other people around me, preferably doing their own thing and not telling me to stop sitting in the sun, reading. Since my ears are about the same size as my legs i.e. very small, it is easy to tune such people out, but that usually just makes them more persistent.

As I live in Maine, the winter includes snow and is very cold. I appreciate such temperatures as they enable me to don my favorite accessory, my (yellow, of course) scarf! It's a patch of sunshine in the cold grey/blue murky color of winter! I have included some MnM's in this letter (all colors except yellow) as I need some way to dispose of them and people are always begging for the red and blue ones and disturbing my peaceful reading. So I'm shipping them to you to get it out of my fur. I apologize in advance for the red and blue MnM pressure that this may have caused you.

Goober; This little fellow's name is Goober, named after the peanut like nut. He has many nicknames, and few people call him his full name. He is often called Goo or peanut. He is not picky with what he is called, and doesn't mind what nickname his friends come up with.

Personality:

Although he is 17, he doesn't always act his age. He sometimes acts childish, knowing he will get away with it because of his size. Although he may not always show it, he can be very responsible, gentle kind and understanding. He dose have a heart although sometimes it may take some time for you to fins it. On the outside he tends to be childish and sometimes a little cruel, playing pranks acting his size rather than age. He loves to have fun like any bean and loves to joke around. He tends to laugh off his problems rather than face them and often can very very dependent and clingy. He can be sensible, but when he gets angry, often he can be rash and irritable. He can act like a child when things don't go his way by pouting or begging, with those big sweet eyes of his. He would never do anything to hurt another bean, the most he would do is give them a good scare. He is not cruel.
Although he may act like a child most of the time, he dose know where the line is drawn and where he needs to step in and do what is needed. Although he may not like it, he can be responsible and mature, and take action when others need him. He knows how to be there for a friend and help others in need. He was raised well and knows how to sue his manners and say 'please' and 'thank you'. He can be well behaved if he chooses and he can very polite.

He sometimes reminds me of a big cuddly, playful tiger

Goober loves anything and all things peanut butter. If it has peanut butter in it, he will eat if, this is probably his favorite thing on earth, but if he had to choose one thing it would probably be buck eyes
Buck eyes are a peanut butter dough that you make and then you roll into little balls. You set them in the freezer/fridge for a while until mostly hard, and then you take them put. then you dip them into yummy chocolate, and freeze them over night. The are so delicious and super easy to make.
Goober loves to make them almost as much as he loves to eat them, that is why they are his favorite snack. He thinks it is so much fun to make them your self and then you can be proud of the food you eat rather than just opening a shiny wrapping and stuffing you face with who knows what. He loves to put the work into these delicious home made candies being proud of his work and sharing them with his friends.... sometimes..... ok, let's be real, who shares

These are her traits.. But how Valley describes herself is cat, or cats. Go ahead, read over the traits again. Please, feel free to remember the first letter of each one. Most people get confused when she says it.. But her friends are there to clear it up as she bounces around the room. She's cautious, because she has a small fear of pain, leading onto her tomophobia but we'll get to that soon. She's adventeroues, but her cautious trait is there to keep her in line. Her tomophobia is a fear of surgical operations, because she's horrified of the thought it could go horribly wrong, leading to her vocal cords missing or loosing a few bones. (just her everyday horrifying thoughts) As weird as this is, she has a horrific fear of mice, suriphobia, which is incredibly histerical to other beans, since she looks like a cat and that's also how she explains herself.
