Um, hello! My name is Flick. I don't really exactly have a reason for that name, but I love it. My mother always wanted a daughter with the name, so it's precious to me and her.

I'm a female. Even with my adoration for the colour blue, I am quite feminine and not really a rough and tumble sort of girl.

I have some odd little gestures. They come along with my social shyness and have just developed into habits. The first is my little tail movement toward others.
Because I'm shy and slightly anti-social, I tend to use my tail as an acknowledgement for other people, and my weirdest thing is placing it over others' backs and heads. Strangers get a little creeped by it, but my friends like it as a quirk, and start playing with my resting tail as conversation progresses.
Another is my shrinking and leg-bending. When I'm approached by strangers and sometimes even those I know, I shrink a little. My back legs retreat and bend down, in a pose that is nearly like a squat. It can almost appear like I'm about to run away, which makes is difficult to meet completely new people without the comfort of friends.
My third main gesture is my bell-patting. It is such a habit! I can't help it. I use my front paw when I'm standing and back when I'm sitting, to tap and play with the bell around my neck. It gets annoying to others and I've been scolded multiple times for it. I don't mean to, but I think it comes from stressful playground situations as a pup.
