I started learning japanese a few days ago and one of the first things I learned was the animals, snake being one of them.
so Hebi means snake in japanese. I imagine he would love to learn japanese as well, according to his interests he enjoys anime, so that sounds like a good reason to me. I mean if I were to watch anime I'd like to know what the characters are saying, wouldn't you?
