Why I want him:
Since I was young, I've always loved crime shows such as CSI and CSI Miami but got into even more crime shows such as Criminal Minds and Hannibal. Hannibal is by far the best as far as cinematography and characters go. I currently have a Hannibal RP (Linked in my signature) and my character is the famous Will Graham.

Will Graham, one of the main characters of the show, has such a complex mind. I try to understand him and portray him in a light that conveys just how complex he is. Personally, I think I have done that task well and I'm prepared to take full reign of him. But this Kia in particular wouldn't be Will Graham himself because that is too concrete; a personality set in stone.
I don't own any Kiamaras but this Kia especially would be one I'd be extremely proud to have.

The Name:
Dice "The Artist" Graham would be a sort of understudy of Will Graham. I chose the name Dice because he's unpredictable, like dice. You never know which face you're going to land on. And his title of "The Artist" is meant to portray the famous quote by Will Graham of "This is my design".
And when you figure out Dice's personality, you'll understand just how unpredictable he can be. I like to consider him a mix between Will Graham himself with a little influence from Hannibal Lecter himself.

Personality:
→Unpredictable- The inspiration for his name, of course, was the fact that Dice is unpredictable. There's no telling what he'll do and he often likes to stir things up, especially when it comes to work. Sometimes he's on one side and other times it seems like he's playing for the other.

→Composed- This is a trait that seems to have rubbed off on him from Doctor Lecter. Dice typically has a very calm demeanor, no matter what type of storm may be raging in his mind. He won't let his emotions cloud his judgement and he'll often keep up such a serene facade that makes it seem like he has nothing that bothers him.

→Snarky- Critical; cutting; testy. Sure, Will has his moments of cruel sarcasm but Dice loves to play the game of snark. He will use witty remarks without concern for feelings because it's just his blunt personality. Of course, the empath in him changes that all around because he'll make up for his harsh words later on.

→Empathetic- Will's deep empathy is something Dice has also acquired. His, however, is not so severe that it causes him nightmares. He is able to understand the minds of most killers but his ability is of more use in his personal life because he's far more social than Will. Sure, Dice has his own demons, but he also likes to have a good time.

→Flirty- One very distinct quality that Dice has adheres to his unpredictability. Will Graham may have eyes for Alana and isn't the type to blindly hit on a woman but Dice (due to his sociability) is a bit of a flirt. The little curls in his fur sometimes make him look like a goof but he knows how to use it to his advantage.

→Logical- Because of his work, he is able to think through things logically, making him an asset to investigations. Whenever someone begs the question 'Why?', Dice is able to give them the most logical explanation so they can weigh their options. When he's thinking things through, he's too deeply focused to worry about what's going on around him.

History
Unlike Will, Dice grew up in a relatively wealthy family. His father, however, was extremely overbearing. Which is the reason Dice ran away at a young age. He got into a lot of trouble- fights, crimes, gangs, you name it. Then the FBI found him, but because of his crimes. It was Will Graham that noticed Dice's potential and took him under his wing, giving him the opportunity to do something different in life.

At first, Dice was skeptical. His mother had taught him not to trust anyone. So he remained silent for the first few weeks after being taken back to headquarters, only asking when he was going to be arrested. When that never happened, he reviewed cases with Will for lack of anything better to do.

His parents never tried to contact him, he had no siblings, and he made (what he could dare to call) friends when he finally began working for the FBI. Street life and his work influenced his personality greatly, teaching him exactly how short life is. It also showed him a path of life that he could actually enjoy and use his ability for, no matter how gruesome it was at times.

To this day, he hasn't spoken to his parents. They knew that he was different when he was growing up but they tried to push him to be more. Which is part of the reason that he doesn't like being pushed into things and he'll stand up to whoever dares to try it. Being manipulated by someone else is no different so when he gets to hunt and track down the manipulators themselves, it provides him with a sense of fulfillment.

Interview
"How do you feel about dating?"
I'm extremely open to it. Of course, I want to find someone special some day, but for now I'm content just having a lot of options. But when I do find someone that makes me happy and can really understand me, I'll marry her on the spot.

"What finally made you decide to take the job with the FBI?"
I got tired of sitting around, waiting to be arrested. So I started helping, which is when they offered to give me an actual job rather than just hanging out with Will all day. Don't get me wrong, he's a nice guy, but he even creeps me out sometimes. And seeing as he's being investigated for murder at the moment, I think my instincts were right.

"Do you intend to do anything else with your life after the FBI?"
I've always been interested in crime, so I may become a private detective one day, but that will probably be when I'm an old dude with age spots and false teeth. Until that time, I'm having fun investigating murders and using my abilities. If I wasn't meant to have my abilities and use them, why was I put here, right?

"So...you know Doctor Lecter, correct? Is he your psychiatrist as well?"
I know him, through Will, and I think everyone can learn a little something from him. Unlike Willy boy, he doesn't lose control of his emotions every time he feels flustered..if the man ever feels flustered. And he's not my psychiatrist because I don't have one. I'm independent so if I have problems, I'll deal with them myself, thank you very much.

Biggest Fear
Dice's biggest fear is that he'll lose himself among all of the madness. Dice is afraid of his ability changing him. So when he starts to lose himself, he needs to go out to some type of social scene and be his flirty, unpredictable self to remember the free life he enjoys.

Dice:"I don't know what you're complaining about. Your job looks pretty easy to me."

Rafe:-stares silently for a long moment before speaking in a soft voice- "Really, you think my job is easy? Clearly you've never had to order morons around. Oh! Not surprising I guess, given that you're ONE OF those hotshot idiots."

Dice:-clenches teeth and sets eyes in a glare- "If I was such an idiot, why would I be working for the FBI? They recruited me. I didn't just raise my hand and get picked. But you, on the other hand..How exactly do they pick the leaders again?"

Rafe:-narrows eyes fractionally- "You got picked because the FBI is run in many areas by idiots and standards are CLEARLY slipping. Just look at your mentally unstable mentor if you need proof of that." -bristles- "I suppose naturally you WOULDN'T know how leaders are picked, since THERE'S NO BLOODY WAY YOU'D EVEN COME CLOSE TO QUALIFYING."
Dice:-snorts derisively- "Standards are slipping because leadership is failing. And you just proved my point. I have to be around some mentally unstable guy all day every day while you sit behind a desk."

Rafe:smiles dangerously- "I'd watch your tongue if I were you, or else you stand at risk of losing it Mr. Hotshot." -narrows eyes and snorts- "Would you rather do the mountains of paperwork I'm forced to do? I dislike desk duty as much as anyone, but unfortunately if things are to work right.....it's necessary"

Dice:-sticks tongue out briefly- "How about you watch my tongue for me? I have real work to do so I don't have time to watch it. Now that Willy boy has been convicted, the workload for me has doubled. Is there any part of your life that's actually stressful?"

Rafe: -frowns with eyes glittering furiously- "How old are you Dice, five? I would think sticking one's tongue out would be a bit childish even for you. And trust me, you don't want me watching your tongue." -snarls slightly- "And what? You're complaining? Pardon me Mr. Brainiac, but weren't you wondering how you become a leader?" -jabs finger into Dice's chest- "You do the work without complaining and you do it well." -snorts in disgust- "I don't have to answer to you pup go run back to your mother and stop your incessant whining."

Dice:-smirks- "Well you told me to watch it but it's something I can't do. Don't hold it against me, commander hardhead." -intensifies glare when Rafe pokes his chest- "It was a relevant point. If I was complaining, everyone in the Bureau would know that I don't like it." -gets in Rafe's face- "You have to answer to someone and I hope whoever it is puts you through the wringer one day. I'll show you incessant whining if that's what you want." -stares at Rafe threateningly before walking away-

Rafe:-bares teeth- "Well YOU best learn quickly then, that is, if you want to survive in the bureau." -smirks at the irritation in Dice's eyes- "Ahh yes, they would know right before they dismissed you. We all have to wade through this disgusting amount of menial tasks, stop being so self-centered and look at the big picture." -narrows eyes futher and leans so they're nose to nose- "Oh yes, I'm certain you would like that, pity it isn't going to happen. And don't threaten me Dice, I'm not one to be trifled with." -snarls softly as the other male walks away-

Dice:-turns back to look at Rafe briefly, a smile flitting across his features- "I'm not one to be trifled with either. Ever wondered why I work directly under Will Graham? I may figuratively be on your side but you should watch your back. I'm sure you have time so I don't have to watch it for you." -closes door behind him and mutters curses under his breath-

1) Dice gets ahead of himself a lot. As you can see from the argument with Rafe, he likes to think that he's won but Rafe is definitely far more dangerous. Plus, Dice could have easily gotten fired for saying what he did if Rafe simply made a phone call but Dice kept going.

2) Plaid. He, like Will, wears a lot of plaid. It's warm, comfortable, and simple. Of course, he leaves a few buttons unbuttoned due to his flirty nature. The rest is left up to the imagination. That's if he was a human, though. As a Kiamara, he prefers to just stay in warm, dry places where he can sit and watch the rain without actually getting into it.

3)Dice prefers liquid to food. Sure, he eats fruit and meat, but as a Kiamara and in a human form, he will usually just be drinking something. Whether it be water, tea, coffee, lemonade, or even soda, he's always hydrated.

4) Will Graham has the parasomnia of sleep walking and also insomnia from his hallucinations. Dice sleeps like a rock. Some people have said that he must be heartless if he sees what he does every day and can empathize with others, even victims, yet he can sleep like a baby. It created a bad reputation for him at one point but when he's done with work or just had a long day, it doesn't matter what's going on, he is knocked out

5)If there were an animal to best represent Dice, it'd be a fox. He's sly, cunning, and quick-thinking. He is also very focused but occasionally will crawl back into his fox-hole and watch things play out, as if he's stalking prey. They may never turn into prey, but he will sit on the sidelines and intervene when it's necessary.
