Seems like everyone is basing him/her off of Sherlock... But I agree! Everything shows signs of him!from the violin on his leg, to the smiley face on the wing, it's 100% Sherlock! Just looking at him makes me fall in love with him!

I have never watched the BBC Sherlock Holmes, even though I have wanted to. So I had to search for the small hints that I was actually able to find. There is the violin/music and the smiley face for sure. I think there may be a magnifying glass on his chin, but not sure.

I was reading through what other's have posted and saw things about the hair and the scarf and something about "s" and "h"....even one about a number five.... since I have not watched the series, I did not see those but they do make sense.

Sherlock Holmes? I have never read or watched Sherlock Holmes but it makes sense.

Some of the hints that I saw was the violin, smiley face, and S. I also thought the design in general looked very british and clasic, which fits the whole sherlock theme.

I have decided that my name suggestion will be Hugo, after Hugo Baskerville from 'The Hound of the Baskervilles'.

I wanted a name loosely related to Sherlock Holmes, but one that was still original. I thought back through character names and Hugo crossed my mind. He may be a rather unpleasant character in the series, but I adore the name Hugo, and it comes from my personal favourite Holmes novel! :'U

- I could be wrong here, but the marking above the back leg looks a bit like the Chinese Suzhou number 5 (〥) which appeared in the BBC series episode 2.
- Or, now that I think about it, that marking could also be the outline of a deerstalker hat. ;o;

And wow, you guys went crazy trying to figure out the markings! I think some of you even discovered some that I didn't color in intentionally xD

Anyways, these were the ones that I purposely put there:

1. Smileyface-in reference to the "bored" scene where he shoots the wall
2. The letter "S" by hs shoulder and "H" on his hindquarters(it is in fact an H, it is just very fancy and turned a little.)
3. The blue mane-referring to his scarf
4. The violin-In "Scandal in Belgravia" the instrument is introduced
5. The pawprints by his "S"
6. There is a little bunny in the toe of his bent front leg; symbolizing the episode "Hounds of Baskerville" (The blue rabbit :'D)
7. This is the one that I didn't expect anyone to get because i'm a bawss: The two circle marking on his front legs represents his nicotine patches.(He's doing well, only using two!)

Some of you however noted the markings by his head look like Sherlocks curls; it definitely could be! I just enjoy drawing swirls and it was a complete coincidence. Same goes for the "magnifying glass" marking, haha XD
The jewel color wasn't as much of a hint though as it was just the color that represented his personality best.

This was such a fun JMD to make, and I might be releasing my last as a guest artist soon (I only have until tomorrow orso anyways)
