Name:
Mia
Gender:
Female
Age:
6 years old!
Personality:
~Mature~
Little Mia can't wait to grow up, and she loves to emulate adults around her. She often tries her best to be as adult about things as she possibly can, even if she knows she's got a long way to go until she becomes one herself. Mia can sometimes seem a little bossy due to this, especially to younger beans.
~Brave~
Mia doesn't look very strong, and her physical state may not be, but inside her fragile shell is contained a steel wrecking ball. This girl isn't afraid of anything (unless it's bugs!). Mia will bravely go where no bean has gone before if you give her enough reason to!
~Loyal~
Make a friend in Mia and make a friend for life. She sticks by you if you're in trouble, and is willing to go anywhere or do anything for a true friend. Betrayal is what hurts Mia the most, and she is very affected by the turbulent emotions following such problems like that.
~Feminine~
Also known as "girly", though Mia prefers the more "grown up" version of saying it. She loves generally feminine things, such as clothes, dressing up, colour schemes, shiny jewellery; soft, pastel colours, soft cloth, and especially candy. Mia loves to make sure that everything is neat and tidy in her spaces, too.
~Indecisive~
Sometimes, Mia can have a little trouble deciding what to do, especially on the spot. Favourites are especially hard for her to pick, because she usually likes a lot of different options. When given time to mull a difficult question over, she can give a coherent and well-planned answer.
~Impatient~
Mia likes things that can be done straight away. Unfortunately, not everything can happen at her whim, so she can get impatient frequently. She even gets a little frustrated with her own indecisiveness, and wishes she could be quicker and making choices for herself.

At the scarf shop!
Tee-hee, this was kind of a fun day! I got to go and have lots of fun with my friends, and we all had a great time. It was so difficult to choose my favourite scarf! I kind of wish my friends didn't make such a mess, though. We got really told off by the shop lady!

These charms...
Hey there. I don't know if you ever saw these, but these are the charms I made. I made them for you. But, I guess you can't take them now. It's okay, though! Even though I don't know where you went, I know you're probably still thinking of me, like I'm thinking of you. I hope you like it where you live!

This picture? My granny took it when I was playing tea-parties with her once. I- I really do like coffee, I mean, all adults do! Ahem. In any case, it's really my favourite picture of me, because I looked so old-fashioned! N-not that I'm vain. I just really love those clothes.

Extra 1: Ten things she likes to say (or says a lot)
"It'll be okay! I promise, so just stop crying, all right?"
"Hey, don't make fun of him like that! He never hurt you!"
"Can it be done tonight instead of tomorrow?"
"Wait, I like candy-floss too, give me some time to pick!"
"I do like coffee, I really do. Ahem..."
"No, don't touch them! They're really special to me."
"Kraken, stop it! You'll break something! Get down here at once!"
"It's okay, I can handle it myself."
"Would you like some jam? I made it myself... well, Bruno helped..."
"Congratulations! I knew you'd do it!"

Extra 2: Poetry
----
1. Sugar and Spice
Sugar and spice
and everything nice,
that's what they say made me.
I don't think that's true,
I'm sure that I grew
from an egg like everyone else.
----
2. A mystery.
Growing up
is a mystery.
Sometimes, she
wants to be big.
Sometimes, she
wants to be small.
Sometimes, she
just doesn't know.
She feels like
an adult, but not quite.
For now, she's
just a little girl.
----
3. Fears
I know I'm a big girl but
I'm still a little scared.
Something like
spiders, or beetles, or creepy-crawly bugs,
shouldn't scare an adult.
They're only small things, and
well, I'm supposed to be a grown-up.
When I get scared,
I have to be brave because
I'm a grown-up.
(not really)
----
4. A visit
She went to the fairground
with her little best friend
and they ran around together
until the day's end.
Cotton-candy, sweetshops,
log-flumes, big drops,
shouting, laughing, screaming,
everything sparkling and gleaming.
Watching people swirl about
dancing to and fro,
everybody here and there
deciding where to go.
Everything seemed light and free!
The two looked at each other then
They made a promise straight away
"We'll come here together again!"
----
5. Garden
I always liked
grandma's garden.
She set out picnics
on a blanket tartan.
In the middle,
a water feature.
Water bubbling,
and a bird feeder.
I would watch the
clouds come and go.
Where they go to,
I don't know.
I think that I'd
be happy here.
With my good old
grandma near.

Extra 3: Story
The little bean looked at her paws, eyes brimming with excitement.
They're so pretty, she thought, wiggling her ears. I hope she likes them.
Mia managed to pull her eyes away, then they gravitated straight back. There rested four little candy-floss necklaces, two pink with blue handles, two oppositely coloured. She'd managed to make them for herself, and her best friend. A matching pair.
The little bean reached her friend's little house on the edge of the woods at about noon. Taking a deep breath, she knocked on the little door, like she always did.
Soon, her friend's grandmother opened the door for her. "Hello," smiled the kindly old bean, and Mia returned her own warm smile.
"Hi," Mia responded thoughtfully, trying to look past the old bean for her friend. Her old face creased, and Mia looked worried. "Is something wrong, Grandmother?"
The older bean didn't reply. Instead, she held out a paw to Mia, and patted her on the head sorrowfully. "Didn't she say? The rest of our family moved to the city, to give me some space. I thought you knew, little one, you and my grand-daughter were so close..."
It felt like betrayal. The young bean's cerise eyes unwillingly filled up with tears, and she wiped at them furiously, wishing they'd go away. With a strangled squeak of acknowledgement, Mia turned tail home with her head low and the matching charms hidden away in her pouch like a terrible secret.
As she trudged home, the little bean thought hard about everything. She considered running away to the city, but it was too rash. She even thought about getting rid of the charms, but everything good she remembered about her friend was now contained into those small metal trinkets. And oh-so-slowly, she came to a decision.
It's okay to feel upset, and it's okay to be lonely. She looked at the charms again, harder this time. I'll keep them, to remember my closest friend by. And if I ever see her again, I can always give them to her then.
She won't forget me, I'm sure of it.
