A. I'll say it now that I normally don't let on this much to strangers, but I have a fear of being alone. Being alone night or day it just gives me that empty sense you know sugar?

A. Brother huh? Interesting choice of 'sobrieuet' or whatever y'all called it. Desmond ain't afraid to toot his own horn from time to time, which isn't all that bad of a thing. Kiamara and others alike should know when to recognize their achievements in life.. ain't that right hon? He has a passion like I've seen in no other creature for his friends, and I don't reckon it's a grand idea getting on any of their bad sides when he's there to hear the tale. All and all my brother is just dandy, I trust him to watch over his family, and do what's right.

A. With friends and family hon! Nothing better then the company of loved ones to celebrate finding love.

Maria means "star of the sea."

Generally thoughtful and considerate, Maria is a good listener and puts people at ease. Others have no problem opening up to her, knowing that Maria will not judge, and weights their words with great care. Although Maria is extremely reserved in expressing emotion, she is a well of caring and kindness, and is genuinely interested in understanding others. This sincerity is sensed by others, making Maria a valued friend and confidante. Though she sometimes seems distant from those around her, Maria can be quite warm with people she knows well enough.
Maria is a natural leader, although she usually choose's to remain in the background until she see's a real need to take over the lead. When she is in leadership roles, she is quite effective, because she is able to objectively see the reality of a situation, and adaptable enough to change things that don't seem to be working well. Maria spends a lot of time inside her own mind, and may have little interest in the other people's thoughts or feelings, but she does try to offer insight where it can be needed.
Maria is very flexible and laid-back, but only until one of her values are violated. In the case of her value system being threatened, Maria becomes an aggressive defender, fighting passionately for her cause. When she has adopted a project or job in which she is interested in, it usually becomes a ‘cause’ for her. Although she is not a detail-oriented individual, she will cover every possible detail with determination and vigor when working for her ‘cause’; she has very high standards and is a perfectionist. Of course. It's what I do most often on Chicken Smoothie. I currently have both of my Kiamara's in active role-plays, and all of my kiamara's will be in roleplays. It is the best was to develop them as characters, and create a very well developed character that you can love and spoil.

That would have to be my twin, Desmond. I mean, who else knows me as well as him?

The first memory I have is of the day my parents told me about the importance of feathers. Its also the most influential memory.

I am proud of how successful I have been in my life. I haven't necessarily had a rough patch that has gotten me too down.

I would like to be remembered as someone who was very kind. I never spoken badly to or of someone else.

I only regret not smiling more often.

I always try to find the good in everything, so the list is quite long. I am very hard to displease.

Maria is her name given to her, although if we had a choice what to name her, I don't think I'd like to choose any other name because the name Maria is beautiful, and mysterious and it describes her all too well


Maria is overconfident and has a huge brother complex, she loves her brother dearly and she always tries to support him in any way she can. She is multi-talented at a lot of things and is a very humble Kia as well. Other Kias are generally drawn to her happy-go-lucky type of personality and she is utmost kind. All Kias aren't perfect though, and Maria's fault is that she can sometimes be a bit too blunt and that ends up giving other Kias the wrong impression of her, although she is quick to fix her mistakes to get back on the right track, so she can usually get along with most and any Kia she talks to. Maria doesn't like to start arguments and she doesn't like to be the one to stop them either.

Maria is very intelligent and she is a very fluent speaker, she never stutters and she always has a clear and understandable voice. Maria despises first impressions mainly because she had to deal with others giving false first impressions of her, and so despite this, she tries to get to know others more before she makes any sort of judgement whatsoever and many Kias respect her for this.

If you are to approach this kiamara, she is willing to talk. Small talk, or long chats brighten up Maria's day, and answers back if you were to ask for a reply. She may just approach you out of the ordinary; she loves talking. The black furred kiamara is a little social butterfly waiting to flutter with someone.
She is also very easily embarrassed, any flirtation towards her and Maria turns red. The kiamara tries to hide this; she hates it when people comment on her in general, especially in front of her face. She hates to be called beautiful, or pretty, because she does not believe so.



The kiamara is rather clumsy, and even clumsier when she's embarrassed. She is nimble to avoid situations where she has to do a task in front of others.
With this, Maria's negative is that she has a easy time to believe things in a normal chat. For example, if she was told that a "flying walrus" existed, with a fake website and photoshopped pictures, she'll find it easier to believe. However, you won't get past this kiamara when you tell her her observation is wrong, because she'll have a layout of reasons why it isn't. She may also sometimes dominate a conversation, as Maria has many things to tell, since her day is usually filled with many activities.

Maria, dabbling into the subject of law, and quite interested by it, has learned that noticing patterns is easier to her. She can tell when something doesn't add up. With this, Maria is also a little bit of a perfectionist, trying to make everything as neat and quick-to-get-to as possible. She is also very pushy if she needs something, and will try to get it as fast as possible.

Maria is easy to read, other's can tell what's on her mind. People hint that it's her eyes; shifty eyes of Maria mean she is troubled, and looking straight ahead means that the kiamara is deep in thought. Maria doesn't mind this, though, since her emotions are quite rapid.
Maria is very attentive to detail. She believes if the right amount of detail is not given, it can lead to wrong misconceptions. Which, of course, she can't have. How can she solve things when she has less than the minimal evidence?

Being very picky with detail, Maria picks up things that average kiamara's don't particularly pay attention. She's very blunt, at first, getting on to the truth faster than anyone else. With the back-up of specific things guiding her judgement, Maria sticks to what she has seen and developed with the case on hand. The kiamara has not been known to follow other kiamara's position, and has her own position on the matter.
She will stick with a kiamara until they understand her train of thought, and how she got to her answer. The black furred kiamara is best known for the evidence she has.

She's a busy little kiamara! Maria takes too much on her plate, and it usually ends up with her drowning in tasks she needs to complete within a time limit. The black furred kiamara usually gets rather stressed when she does this, and will try to avoid social interaction just in case she breaks to the stress. She'd hate to lose a friendship!

The kiamara's got her negatives. Not only does she need to take a moment every time she talks, but Maria also needs to think before she speaks when in a normal conversation. She is a social butterfly, yes, but she's also a little gossiper. The kiamara might talk smack behind a kiamara's back, and she won't regret it at all. When others take notice and warn her about what she says, her stubborn head will try to come up with a number of reasons why it's okay, and usually successes for a temporary time until the other kia gets annoyed. She, like said above, can easily get flustered, especially if it hits the "romance" topic for her, as she absolutely hates anything like that. Maria can also get very frustrated with things and, even if a kiamara tells her to quit, she won't.

Overall, Maria is a interesting kiamara to stick around. She's got many unique traits, and even if she may get grumpy, or gossip, or snap at another, she always treasures her friendships the most.

Yes! In other forums and in private messaging. I personally enjoy semi-lit, since it gives more detail and such. I usually like roleplaying with my friends, since it's much easier for me. However, I still would love to roleplay with others! I may be busy, but I will find time to do so.
With Maria, I think it's in the best interest to roleplay with Desmond, her twin brother, actively, which I would like to do. I think it'd be a great way to develop their interaction with each other and maybe deepen her personality.

The blue green train flowed with the wind, and the moon showed brightly. The black furred kiamara looped her hand with the orange kiamara, and she smiled.
"Ah, thank you, dear! I hope this ball will be pleasant." Maria thanked her date, looking ahead. The mansion, not too far away, seemed like it was a shadow. Hidden by the old trees that curved inward out of the sides. Maria was quite excited; she had been invited to a masquerade ball, which she had never been too, and it was a extremely private ball. She knew she had to wear something quite fancy; so she decide to wear a strapless dress, a mixture of blue and green, going lighter as it went to the train. It dotted with a few, sparkling, fake white gems, more on the bottom and a few on the train. The black furred kiamara sported a bird of paradise corsage, given to her by Ocean, her date to the bar, and a black leathered necklace with a actual, small diamond, given to her by her family. She felt like a princess; which, the feeling, she never got.

Maria, as what she knew, there was only 5 who were invited, including herself. The invites themselves had no name; it was anonymous who had sent them. Which was rather curious to the black furred kiamara, so she had taken a mental note about it. She would have to ask the host later.
"Hey, M-Maria, we're here..." Ocean broke her train of thought as he rang the doorbell of the large doors, and knocked on it with the gold lion handle. The doors opened with a slow creak, and he stepped inside, as did her.
The first thing she noticed was the dim lights. The dim lights and the burgundy colored couches. Maria took a deep breathe as she guided the mask to her face, a blue one with teal feathers, and gold on top of the cut out eyes. Ocean wore his, ones complimenting his eyes. He wore a black suit with a white rose in the left pocket, and his hair was smoothed down. She glanced over at him, letting go of his arm and instead, held her dress.
The other four kiamaras were in the room, 2 males and 2 females. The males wore black suits with their own unique flowers, and one wore a extravagant mask. She knew the one with the extravagant mask as Lunar, and the smaller kiamara, a child, as Raiden. The females, one wearing a mask with flowers and ribbon falling off the two bottom corners, she knew as Chaya. Leila wore a black mask with calm greens as swirls. The two girls wore green dresses, one wearing a dark green and the other a light.
"Hello, dearies!" Waving a arm, he smiled brightly, and turned back to Lunar. Lunar looked down at him, and then toward Maria.
"Ah, welcome, Ocean and Maria. How lovely that you could come, just like we were able to." He grinned, waving as well. Chaya looked at them, however, continued her conversation Leila. A cold, sideways glance came from Leila, and the black furred kiamara shuddered.
That glance. What had she done to deserve that?
"Are you cold, madame?" Raiden had, surprisingly, stood in her vision. What a quick little one.
"No, I'm fine! Nothing to worry about." Maria assured. Ocean was now talking to Lunar, and the two others were talking to each other. Maria bent down carefully, smiling halfly.
"So, how are your video games, Rai Rai?"
"Doing just fine, hehe! You still owe me a game, Maria. I'm waiting!" He sang-songed, tapping her nose and clicking his tongue. She giggled. Just then, the lights flickered, and turned off.
A scream was heard.

The lights flickered back on, and everyone gasped.
Chaya, her drink in hand, but spilt on the carpet, laid there, her dress slightly damped with the drink, but with....red.
Maria pulled Raiden close, pushing him behind her. He peeked from the back, and Leila stood up, still stricken with shock. The black furred kiamara raised an eyebrow.
The paws of Leila looked stained.
"Stay right there, Leila." There was a buzz that split across as she said those words.
"Not so fast, dear Maria! We've got some rules!" Something was talking over them. Maybe a intercom?
"Yes, there is a intercom, Maria." Leila growled. She acted like that was a stupid thing to ask, and Maria looked down. She was that readable even with the mask.

"Dear, dear, Maria, wonderful that you've come to play. I am glad that you could join us! We have wanted to meet the famous detective lawyer.
Now, onto the basic information we will give you." The voice was deep, dark, with a slight accent. It didn't fit any of the voices of the guests. However, there were machines to fix that.
Mental note.
"I will kill off each guest every half hour. You will have to figure out who the murderer is, and I, know, it is one of the guests. If you do not figure it out by the time I manage to kill the guests, well, you will never see the light of day." A sickening laugh finished the sentence, and the buzz died off. With that, Maria's eyes darted around the room, and settled on Leila.
"You. Hands. Explain." She growled, pulling off the mask and pointing at her. Everyone's eyes looked at Maria, and she shifted her position. She didn't like much attention.
"Hey, it wasn't me, girl! I was hugging Cheya to comfort her after what she had told me, and then I hear a scream. From her. And I could feel something whip past me and at Cheya." Leila explained frantically, yet still her face remained calm. Maria lifted a eyebrow, and Raiden tugged her blue green train.
"She's telling the truth, Maria! I could see her mask flash a little bit, and then Cheya's fell off. Actually, I think it was someone else."
"Here, everyone, please, let us come to my-the dining room." Lunar offered, barely able to cover his mistake. He walked calmly into a hallway, and turning a door. Ocean followed, then Cheya, and then Maria and Raiden. Maria took another mental note.

The black furred kiamara placed her blue mask on the table, and gestured for everyone to do the same. Soon enough, her eyes watched every face, every move.
"A-Alright. Look, we just need to state what we know." Ocean began, placing his hands on the table and glancing at Lunar before looking at Leila.
"Leila, why don't you start?"
"Fine." The toddler kiamara stood up a bit, looking around the cabinets for something. He pulled out a notepad and pen, handing it to Maria. She nodded her head in gratitude and scribbled down what Leila said, and soon it was a circle of thoughts and facts that they knew.

- Leila was hugging Cheya when lights went off.
- A buzz could be heard lightly when the lights went off.
- There was blood on Ocean's shoes.
- Ocean claims he accidentally stepped on a area that was damped with Cheya's blood.
- There was a gust of wind between Ocean and Lunar.
- It couldn't have been Raiden; his back was turned and he had nothing on him but his suit.

The black furred kiamara glanced up at the clock, and panicked. Had it really been that long? She tugged Raiden, and a buzz pierced the air again, and the lights flickered off. A scream was heard, and a chill went down her spine. She couldn't feel Raiden next to her anymore.
"I'm too nice! I gave you a hour. However, like said, I'd kill a kiamara every 30 minutes. Didn't luck out this time, did you?" The sickening laugh ended it, and another scream came out, piercing Maria's ears. The lights flickered back on, and she held her nose.
That stench of blood.
"Let us get out of here!" The brown furred kiamara huffed, grabbing Ocean's hand and Ocean grabbing Maria's.

Maria held the notepad tightly in her hands, shifty eyes.
"Which one of you did it?"
"What? How do we know it wasn't you, dear Maria?"
"M-Maria, don't exclude yourself!" Ocean frowned, looking over at Lunar and nodding. Lunar glared at the female, crossing his arms. She growled.
"One of you obviously did it. It wasn't me, and I have proof."
"Begin, then." The black furred kiamara took a deep breathe, never taking her eyes off the both of them, wanting to see therir emotions as she explained.
"First one. Ocean, YOU had blood on your shoes. I was the last one to exit the room, and you were second to last. You "claim" to have stepped on it, but you didn't. It happened on the couch, which, you were nowhere near. You were on the opposite side of it. So you must've done something. One of you, Lunar, also said there was a gust of wind between you. Raiden and I were standing far off during the murder of Cheya. Leila and Raiden's was a double attack; you should really check your pants, Lunar, because they're stained." Explaining this with hand motions, and directing it to her notepad, which she also had a new page for her thoughts, Ocean's emotions turned from worry, to sadness, to anger. Lunar kept a calm, composed expression. Maria pointed at Lunar's pants, and both boys looked.
It was stained; even if it was black, Ocean bent down and felt it, red coming off his fingers. He also noticed the red on Lunar's fingers.
"Yes, I was near Raiden during his murder. But a gust of wind came, and took him away. So I had no part in his murder, nor Leila's." The black furred kiamara flipped her hair, crossing her arms. Ocean fell silent.
"Mmm. Hmm, hmhm." Lunar hummed, grinning.
"What?"
"Nice detective skills." The brown kiamara kept his grin, and Maria took another mental note.
He was missing his feathers from his tail.
"Come with me, please." Pulling his hand anyway, she walked carefully the way they came, and Ocean just kept quiet and followed.

As soon as they arrived, she bent down near Leila and Raiden's bodies, scanning the pool. She soon saw it. The magnificent teal feathers Lunar displayed were covered in blood. She stood up, fixing her dress.
"Duck!" Ocean yelled, and, without knowing, the kiamara did. A swing from Lunar had been done; he toppled over, losing his balance. She guessed much strength had been put into that punch. Taking Maria's arm and running, they took off, she kicking off her shoes to run better.
"Run, and don't stop!" Ocean looked back, to see her almost tripping, and she tried to run faster, failing. Looks like they did solve the murder.
The murderer was Lunar, and he wasn't going to stop.

Ducking into a nearby room, which seemed like a ball room, Maria turned on the switch, only to have it turned off again. Ocean pulled something from his coat; something that glowed.
"What's that?"
"Screwdriver."
That was peculiar. She shook it off, and he walked, so she followed the light. The female stepped carefully, and when she turned to look at the illuminating face of the orange kiamara, she hit something hard.
"Ow!" She hissed, rubbing her head. Ocean hushed her, opening the door. Maria stepped inside, and, within 5 seconds, she had to be dreaming.
It looked like the inside of a TARDIS.
"Why does this look like this is coming from a movie?" She questioned, turning to Ocean. He smiled halfly, looking away.
"It didn't come from a movie."
"Show?"
"Nope, it's real."
"How can this be real? It's a damn TARDIS, I know it is."
"That's because I'm the doctor."

Gasping, and jumping up, Maria held onto something near her, the sunlight blinding her. As soon as she adapted to the light, she looked around her surroundings.
It looked like her room. Her bed. Her pillow. The black furred kiamara breathed a sigh of relief. It was a dream. It was all a dream.
A pretty freaky one, however.
