Story:
Today was Christmas day; the day children were filled with joy and happiness. After 13 years, I have realized that I will never feel that way about Christmas. My parents never told me about Santa. I learned about him this year and decided I would write him a letter. Which is the only way I ever felt a sort of joy for this day or any day.
This Christmas morning was no different than any other Christmas morning for me. The sky was a dull grey and rain swirled down from the sky like it was a racing to the ground. Rain began to slam against my window, only then did I wake up when it opened. I blinked my eyes and gently rubbed them as the window waved to me with swealing tears. While other children got up quickly to awake their parents, I was alone. A soft chill swept through the window before I wrapped my blanket around me and made my way down the stairs. Silence filled my home and the only sound was the fatal creak of every step I took. Before I went to the living room, my eyes focused on a folded paper reading "Lila" I reached and softly sighed predicting what was inside. An apology.
"Dear Lila,
We are sorry that we couldn't celebrate Christmas with you this year, again. You know how much we love you and we hope you're like what we got you. We are really sorry for the sudden dissapearence but our jobs requested that we work today and tomorrow on our stories. We are so close to finishing the book and you know how long we've been working on it! Maybe next year we can celebrate Christmas with you?
Love,
Mom and Dad"
The book has been their excuse every year. Supposedly, their book was supposed to be done 3 years ago. Though, my parents don't care much for me at all it seems. They are gone more than half of the year or working in their office which leaves me solemnly by myself. I crumbled the note and tossed it on the counter before I plopped on the ground in front of my present. My eyes lit as I hoped for someting different. I asked them for love, that's it. Though, there lay a present roughly sealed beneath the tree. The crisp "Happy Birthday" wrapping ripped with ease as I pulled through the edges. Well, it was about love.. "How to tell your kids about 'feelings'" They tried, I suppose. Since, Santa was no usual tradition for me I got up to go to bed until I saw the cookies I left for santa were gone and in it's place was a note. I am assuming it was another sorry letter from my parents for eating my cookies. I opened the letter and with beautifully script writing read "There is another gift" Though, there was only one gift when I opened my parents gift. I turned and in the place of their gift was a light blue box that emitted beautifully across the room. With a swift movement I sat infront of the box. I never have had a gift like this before. A gift that was thoughtfully wrapped. I pulled the bow and a gentle movement wavered inside. Curiously, I lifted the lid and to my surprise was what I have been longing for.
ono it's a bit long ^^" I just kinda wrote without realizing the amount ^^" I'll revise it and shorten it ^^

Story:
Christmas day, the dreams of dancing sugarplums or staying up waiting for santa were gone. It was real, as the children check to see if its a white christmas, small snowflakes falling down. The snowman the made the day before, seems to be waving as she runs through the hall to her tree. Her parents, smile as she runs up to a present. Her heart is racing, her mind filled with dreams and imagines what it could be. What could it look like it? Will it like me? Its only a mystery until you open the carefully wrapped present, slowly she'll take the bow off. She can't contain her excitement for this present, but also wants to save the wrapping paper for later memories.
She takes off the pieces of wrapping paper, the crackling as it hits the rug and the rips as she pulls the paper off. Opening it up, she smiles, her blue-green eyes lighten up as her dreams came true, her imagination wasnt as good as this, it was just perfect in her eyes.
