Down a mountain slope
Fills the air with a piece of hope.
For she has come back
From her adventures of cold
Her coat like the sun and heart of gold,
Her voice the sound of music.
For she has returned.
To gallop in the mountains,
With the sun on her back
To a time of peace
Without a struggle.

of birds in treetops and hooves thundering below
crashing like lightning but soft and sweet as a whisper
a bolt of passion shot from mountaintop

Crimson caverns depth with shadows of nightmares,
Rays blooming in cream faintly petals,
Liquid light leaks upon layers,

Ground beaten hooves drag against dust,
Shaded figure beneath vanilla sunburst,
Damaged highlands invaded with rust,

Sound of crunching bone rip from sight,
Buckskin pelt layered in oil,
Thickness of feathers upscale the night,

Crumbling mountain rock staggers downward,
Silence flutters with grayscale wind,
Stance of a double edged sword,

As the sun beat down on the golden equid's mane,
Little did she know he was with her again,
His big, gentle eyes with thundering hooves that did pound,
Were coupled with his prance and the trumpet he did not sound.

After a moment did she then raise her eyes,
To the stallion she had thought long since died.
Her one true love, killed by a storm,
Was standing before her, quiet and forlorn.

Her breath caught in her throat when she opened her mouth to speak,
The the golden blushed pink, her knees going weak.
The darker sorrel male smiled to warm her heart,
And suddenly, swiftly, they began to depart.

Finding each other had finally set them free,
Away from the husks that had tried so hard to be,
For with their true love that could not be broken,
Started to join the scenery, whispering words long left unspoken.

Without any warning, the light lifted them high,
Spirits ascending into the daybreaking sky,
Their golden coats turned to beams of the 'rise,
Above the mountains, finding the end of their demise.

The mare turned to her partner, the warmth in her smile,
Reassured him that she would not leave, all the while,
Though she melted away to the gentle golden rays,
Taking her place in the beauty, forever to stay.

And then did he take his place in the sky,
Never to be alone, even after they died,
For he became the sun, always beside his love,
While she could dapple the mortals with their light from above.

And so then they gifted the world with another,
A delicate creature, a filly, their daughter.
Her coat shimmered pure as the bright orb above,
Dappled perfectly with the delicate light from their love.

Across the land,
Tiny blossoms,
Fit in your hand.

She dances,
On feather-light hooves,
Making so much commotion,
The groundhog disapproves.

Easily conquering,
The sky-high mountain,
She came upon,
a golden fountain.

Within it's waters,
Held a tiny sound,
It came to represent,
What she had just found.

Plunging back into the valley,
She knew she had gained,
Knowledge of what,
Was giving her so much pain.

Her calling lost to the sea,
It shown like a tiara,
She saw what completed her,
Her name, Sayonara.
