Story: The stallions harks flicked quietly as he skittered back from the strange looking animal underneath his hooves. "Whoa," He said, surprized, "what are you?" The badger looked up at him, twitching his nose back and fourth; the stallion looked like a badger, but he was way too big to be one of his kind. "Im a badger, of course," He said, blinking quietly, "but you should know that; you look exactly like one!"

Story: The green green grass down here was far tastier and much sweeter than the small sparse shrubs he found on the mountain slopes. A soft sound caught his attention and his raven black ears twitched as it sounded again, he flicked his gaze around and pinpointed it to a hole quite near to him. As the stallion watched a black and white head poked out and was followed by a body of the same color; he nickered at the creature which payed him a bare minimum amount of attention. He wandered closer and whinnied softly at the badger which barked in surprise at the black and white stallion who danced happily on the spot.

Story: One fine, summer day, Alcarin was walking through a sweet valley with lush grass, a blossoming cherry tree, and a light breeze that felt very good, when he heard a gunshot and shouts. Suddenly, a small, blackish-gray creature came bounding through the very long grass and jumped onto Alcarin's back from a boulder as a man with a gun ran in after the creature with an infuriated young girl at his heels who grabbed his gun and hit it against a rock, breaking it, as he aimed towards Alcarin and the animal on his back. After the man had yelled at the girl, who had calmly stood ther ignoring his ranting, and stormed off in anger, the girl walked up to Alcarin and the animal, picking up the creature and setting it on the ground, and staring in awe at Alcarin while remarking that she had come to save a beaver and found a perfect Wild Mountain Equid as well as doing what she had come to do. The badger said a quick thank to the girl and the Equid, thought the human couldn't understand him, and scuttled off as the Equid got to know his newfound, loving human friend and her other Equid, Ithildin, who Alcarin thought quite lovely.

Story: Roulette bounded down the rocks on the side of the mountain, precariously balancing on the top of each. He was frisky and looking for adventure. And did he ever receive just that when he heard a strange hiss, from... under one of the rocks? The young stallion paused and bent his head to look under his feet, under the rock. He was met with a quick swipe of a paw, making him jerk his had back, startled and wide eyed. What a strange creature, with markings like him.

"What are you doing sitting on my patch of rock?!" Dakoda said pushing his muzzle into the stout black and white badgers face.
'Sitting you got a problem with that?!" Growled the badger getting up on stubby legs. "This is my rock and there ain't nothin' you can do about it."
Dakoda snorted. "Read my lips, My, ROCK!" He sat down shoving the hot tempered badger out of the way.
"Why you little. . ." The badger began shoving him back when another long muzzled black and white face comically slid up from in front of the rock. "Get your bum fluff home or play nice!'
'Can't you see I'm fighting for my rock honey!' The badger grumbled stepping off the rock and glancing back. 'You got guts kid, I shall return. Maw ha ha!" He heaved his plump form off the rock.

Hadger could tell winter was coming, not because of the light snow that now covered the valley and mountains, but because his pale hoof was turning a deep shade of pink. He was happily cantering along a secret ledge, he found when he was a colt, and it's twisted paths finally lead to some weeping trees, filled with plump juicy berries.
Once under the stoney arch way Hadger quite suddenly found himself squeaking as he was berried under cold snow, pulling his head up he looked around and saw a small badger, chuckling at the equid, "Who are you?" he asked, as the badger began rapidly shaking Hadger's hoof.
The badger straitened out and said, "Me Badger, you?" the equid introduced himself and found out that the two had allot in common, so both picked the berries and ate them like old friends as the sun crept away behind another mountain.

Long Version: Do Not Read. Unless you really want to ^-^"Hadger could tell winter was coming, as light white snow had already began to cover the mountains and valley in a cool blanket of white. He breathed out heavily and his breath floated upwards like a small cloud, his one pale hoof began turning a darker colour of pink. But that didn't bother him.
Rearing upon his hind legs, accompanied by a sweet whinny, Gadger cantered briskly allowing the rocks and towards a few weeping trees that her had stumbled upon a s a foal. The berries were still large and sweet and he adored them, sot hat is what he went to do. As he trotted under a small stone arch, bountiful amounts of snow fell on top of him and he squeaked in surprise. 'Who did-' he then stopped and lifted his head from the cold. The snow was shaped in a rough cone of his head and was rolling down his snout and mane.
"Sorry 'bout that." came a small squeak. It was something Hadger had never seen before, but it looked just like him! Colour wise anyway.
"Who are you?" he asked, pulling himself up from the snow, which was surprisingly heavy.
"I'm Badger! Who're you?" he chirped, scurrying over and shook Hadger hoof.
"My names Hadger." chuckled the equid, snorting proudly.
Hader and Badger talked for a long time afterwards and soon were great friends, so they picked the berries and ate them together as the sun went down behind the mountains.

Gauros was 2 months old and he spent all days racing with other foals and rolling in grass. One day he ran farther than usual. He met there the most extraordinary creature he has ever seen. He tried to come closer to that animal, but it ran away and hid in hole. Gauros ran to his mother and told her about that unsual meeting. "It must have been the badger. It is really pretty animal, isn't it?" she said "You have colours very similar to its. However, you are a lot more beautiful"

It looked at me, climbed on my back, and spoke; "My name is Badgerdash, and you are?"
