He is always there to cheer his friends up, and never backs down from a fight! He loves Sundays, and always tries to get the most out of them! Actually, Sunday is when his personality blooms! Every Sunday morning, he gets up early to have breakfast with a nice glass of orange juice. Then he combs his fur and heads to church. He is Catholic and can't get enough of church! Then he goes to his favorite park to play, then goes home for lunch. The rest of the day is completely different every week!

My Happy Has it's Limits
His happy has it's limits. Sunkist isn't the kind of JBD to be happy 24/7 and can be quite grouchy at times. He is happy so long someone doesn't annoy him or tell him other wise when he's doing something. He doesn't like to be pestered by children, even though he's one himself. He likes tranquility and doesn't like music with lyrics or a fast-paced beat. He prefurs to be in the company of someone he knows well and it is very hard to gain his trust.
What About Me
Sunkist often feels alone in the world. He feels forgotten and a bit left out. Though he watches on with slight enthusiasum, he feels like no one cares. He feels like they know he's there, yet choose not to acknowlage him. He listens to them talk about subjects sensative to him without a sound, but I heavy heart and mind. Someday he hopes to meet that one special someone who acknowlages him and and will love him for him. Though he doesn't see that happening any time soon.
Did I just sunburn
Sunkist is often bi-polar. He calls these his "sunburn moments" and wishes greatly he could avoid them. During these instinces, he can be completely furious at someone then all of a sudden feel remorse and apologise fifty diffrent times. He hates these times and tries to hide away from himself in an attempt to avoid them. When this happenes, he often wishes he was never born, then, due to this, always takes it back.

Name: Soleil
Meaning: The word 'soleil' means 'sun' in French. In my opinion, it's an elegant and obvious choice for this little boy (:
Why I want him: I've not been around the JBD scene long, but I've tried out for quite a few, and I've only for one other bean have I felt this level of attachment and connection. I absolutely love the sun, I love orange and warm tones, I feel like this design was almost made for me. I love the sun marking in his eye; it's bright and unique, and his design is gorgeous and intricate while at the same time being rather simplistic. I haven't won any JBD's yet, and I would be absolutely ecstatic as well as completely honored to make Soleil my very first. And, I do feel a sense of compassion towards these beans that are up for re-adoption; things didn't quite work out for them with their first owner, and I would do my absolute best as their permanent owner. While I do have a lot of characters, I take care of each one of them and give them all lots of love. If he were mine, I would shower Soleil with art, and maybe even roleplay with him a bit, and once he's grown, I'd love to maybe find him a nice girlybean to have a baby with. ♥

I didn't even bother trying to think of a different name. I don't see how any name could fit as well as this one! I'm just going to keep the name Sunkist; it's a very nice name.

Personality

Hot-tempered

Sunkist isn't an aggressive JBD, and neither is he a violent JBD. Just because he gets angry very easily does not make him a mean Dragon. Simple things make him irritated and upset but he never takes his anger out on anyone. He has never hurt a JBD in his life and plans on keeping it that way. Sunkist will steam and snap at people when he has an angry moment but won't lay a paw on them. Sunkist has a stubborn streak and is very testy. Just make sure not to say the wrong thing at the wrong moment and you won't have your head bit off. The last thing Sunkist wants is to be feared, so don't be scared of him; he's just quite hot-headed.

"I don't know why I get so angry. It's just so irritating when something goes wrong for me or when someone says something so dumb and ignorant."

Impatient

Sunkist can't stay still. Simple as that. He will not stand in a long line because in only a few minutes, his foot will be tapping and his irritated muttering will begin. Sunkist can't sit and work on something boring for a long period of time without getting incredibly distracted and frustrated. Because of his hot-headedness, when he gets impatient, he snaps at other JBD's. Sometimes, he just needs a little break so he can cool down. He will usually avoid situations that are tedious and slow because Sunkist is fast-paced and loves busy physical work.

"Ugh, seriously, there are so many other things I can be doing instead of sitting writing a test or standing in a long line for something unimportant. I'd rather play football or build something or hang out with my friends. I just hate being still!"

Outgoing

Because he is so stubborn, Sunkist is very outgoing. He looks far ahead and is socially confident. When he is assigned a task, he will set his mind to it and try his hardest. He isn't very friendly but is enjoyable to talk with because he has reasonable advice. Sunkist believes in himself and doesn't really see flaws in himself, which is a bit of a problem because he can get quite cocky.

"People love me and hate me at the same time. But I love myself through and through!"

Persistent

Sunkist is persistent. Unless it is extremely unimportant, Sunkist will do all he can to figure the problem out. He asks a lot of questions and hates being out of a conversation. Some say he's annoying because he just won't stop until he gets something, but he doesn't really see it like that.

"What do you benefit more from? Giving up right away or trying your hardest to get what you want? You tell me."

Bipolar

Yes, Sunkist is bipolar. It isn't serious but he does have his ups and downs. Angry, sad, positive, closed-off, he goes through it all. He can usually get through his crazy lows but sometimes requires a bit of help from his friends. He also doesn't want people judging him because of his disorder; in fact, don't even bring it up. Your friendship with him will be a lot smoother if you leave that topic for a time when you are indeed close enough with him to talk about it.

"I think everyone knows about my disorder... but I just think it shouldn't be brought up. Why speak about that when we can talk about sports or something?"

Story

Because I have absolutely no artistic talent, I love to write, have more time to write, and am impatient on oekaki, I have decided to do the story option! I'm going to try and keep it short and sweet.

Sunkist learned at a young age that you can never let yourself love anyone.

Most have tried to get down into the dark root of Sunkist's anger and sadness. All of them have failed. He closes up; refuses to talk about something that happened years ago. . . Something that caused all love and hope inside him to evaporate like smoke. . . Something he has never told a single soul. . .

Mom was sick, that was for sure. Her usually sparkling purple eyes were dull and exhausted. Her light red fur was tangled and dirty from being neglected. She could barely walk and she had no energy to ready me for school. I had to make breakfast for myself. I tried my hardest to make French toast but egg and milk were spilled on the floor and counter and there was a burning smell hanging in the air. "Mom? I made myself some breakfast. Look." I showed her my plate with a pile of burnt bread resting on top of it. I knew she was exhausted but she made an effort to lift her head from her pillow and smile. "Great job honey. But you better hurry off to school now." With a sad nod, I left her alone at home for the fifth day to go to school. I had no clue what was wrong with her but I was scared. When I came home after a long day at school, I saw an ambulance parked in the driveway. My heart had began to race so fast I thought it would explode and I could feel tears well in my eyes. I was so scared. . . So young. . . I ran, crying, into her room where some professional-looking JBD's were lifting her up. My mom was. . . limp. But she opened one eye. "Honey. . ."

The ride in the ambulance with her was awkward and frightening. She was just barely breathing. I wouldn't let go of her cold paw. "What's wrong with her?" I had asked, but the ambulance guys only looked at me with sadness and sympathy. I sat outside the room she was in at the hospital as the doctor tried to help her. After what seemed days but in truth was only a few hours, he came out slowly and kneeled in front of me. "Son. . . You don't have a father, do you? Any siblings?" I shook my head. "Sir. . . what's wrong with my mom? She's gonna be okay, right?" The doctor rose slowly, trying to look me in the eye. "Go say good-bye, son."
"G-good-bye?"
Tears falling down my cheeks, I held my mom's paw tightly. I remember as a baby when I would grasp her paw, she would laugh and squeeze it then kiss my paw-pad lightly. Now, she only turned her head to look me in the eye, her paw still. "What can I say to you, sweetie? This. . . disease is so rare. There is nothing they can do for me."
With a shake of my head, I wrapped my arms around her in a tight embrace. I couldn't stop sobbing. "Please, mom, don't leave me. I need you. I don't have a daddy!" She smiled weakly, trying to comfort me. "I'm so sorry, sweetie." I pulled back. My tears dotted her hospital gown. "Listen closely, Sunkist. You need to face this life boldly. You need to be yourself. Never let anyone tell you what to do. . . Just. . . don't be afraid to be who you are. The greatest thing in my life. . . Was waking up and seeing your bright face everyday. Know that I love you more than life itself."
"Mom?"
The monitor started to squeal in a flat tone. I could tell. Her soul was gone. All I could do was collapse on on my dead mother in sobs.

Sunkist does not speak of his mother; of her death. Everyone knows he is an orphan but does not know how he came to be one. A sad story that has taught him one thing: do not grow attached to anyone. If you don't become attached to anyone, you will never break your heart.

Overall, Sunkist is a happy, high energy, hilarious little ball of energy and fluff. But like everyone, he does have his flaws. One of them being his obvious bipolar-ness.

Like the bright, cheery suns that seem to dance on his fur, Sunkist is constantly in motion and usually can't stop smiling. His attitude is warm, like his fur, and like the suns in his eyes, he can instantly brighten up and JBD's day! Sunkist always makes time to make other JBD's smile; after all, it is his specialty! He never seems to run out of energy! Which is both a good and a bad thing-he uses his energy to make JBD's smile, but can get a little annoying xD Either way, it's hard not to love him when he's in his good moments.

Unfortunately, Sunkist is not always that adorable little ball of sunshine. Sometimes, he is a horrible explosion, that erupts on whoever isnearby, without any warning. We call these his "sunburn" moments. He will start raving and yelling, shredding anything within his reach, and throw a huge temper tantrum, if anything doesn't go his way. Sunkist is, after all, still a child JBD, but his bi-polarness certainly "adds fuel to the fire." Sunkist does not know when to quit arguing or fighting, and takes things so far as to have one of his "sunburn" moments. He gets mad when things don't go his way, and openly shows it.

Over all, though, Sunkist really is a sweet JBD. He is making a tremendous effort to control his "sunburn" moments, and is doing well......most of the time. And, the older he gets, the easier it will be to control himself. Sunkist is the kind of JBD who just wants to see everyone happy. Because of this, he has become quite the comedian. He also is incredibly social, and is always happier to be with friends rather than be by himself. It's almost impossible to spot him without a smile on his face :)

Every JBD needs their own unique items, right? :3 Well, ____ has a few of his own!

Scarf- for those chilly days, _____ wears a maroon colored, very VERY soft scarf, that's just a tad too long for him :3

iPod- Usually carried in his pouch, ____ takes with him everywhere his silver iPod, just in case he gets bored ^^ Plus, he loves music, and often it is the only thing that can calm down his sunburn moments.

Hoodie- Also for those colder days, ____ wears an oversized hoodie, that is aqua blue with dull aqua blue stripes. It has long drawstrings on the hood, that are REALLY fun to play with :D

Skateboard- Why walk when you can board? Since ____ is usually in a hurry to get where he wants to go, I thought a skateboard might be a good thing for him. He's really good at riding it, and since he loved his skateboard so much, he also owns a scooter and a surf board!

Surf Bracelet- I mentioned he has a surfboard, right? Well, inspired byhis love and talent of surfing, ___ owns one of those tan bracelets, with a couple beads on it, that surfers normally wear.

Now that he is begginning to see the effects of his bi-polar attitude, ____ has develooped a role model, a sort of mentor, to look up to. Someone who can help him keep his "sunburn" attitude under control. (PMing owner of role model to see if I could include him/her in a story/this JBD's life <3)
