Re: JBD #171 {Available}

sorry some of the form is so rushed. I still care about winning Amar; I just haven't had enough time to make it good. I'm sorry again and I hope you'll take into consideration my effort versus the quality of my form, though I know it's a big part. thank you for giving me the chance to win Amar.

The writing inscribed on the frame is in Latin, the Ama family motto, reads as follows:
Amaranthus determinatio, quantum, et vivit virtus in per saecula; dum infirma et sui fallentes dracones non. It roughly (according to google translator anyway xD) translates to: Unfading determination, respect, and power lasts through the ages, while weak and self-deluding dragons do not.
The art was drawn by me in PS2. It took around two hours (feeling pathetic...)

Amaranthus is the name I thought would suit this cute JBD. Amaranthus is the Latin form of the Greek Amaranthos, meaning "unfading." Something about this so suits Amar's personality. He is such a constant character in the world (though, of course, he doesn't actually exist ;3) and you can tell that his name will stay in the world for a long time after he dies. On top of this, Amaranthus' family, the Amas, have been naming their children names beginning with -Ama for centuries. The word "unfading" is a echo of their pompous attitude that they are simply more important than anyone else.

Image
Amaranthus is, of course, a name that just has to be shortened; can you imagine saying, "Amranthus!" all day to him? No, Amaranthus was all too happy to shed his overly long name and take on "Amar" instead, dispite his parent's grumblings about it sounding like a girl name (to them, anyway). Amar actually likes his nickname even more because it annoys them. Around the house they always call him Amarantus despite the fact that saying it so much made their throats hurt.

Image
Male. This is, of course, because it was already on the form, but funnily enough I would have made Amar male anyway.

Image
Adult, though he still sometimes acts and feels like a child.
He is barely twenty years old, but he appears to be especially mature for his age and has already mostly developed his horns.

Image
Oho, let's see. I've been meaning to get a JBD for a while, actually, but none really caught my fancy. I was looking for a more complex design then the majority of the ones posted on the thread. But, as I was randomly scrolling through the Created Pets forum (out of boredom, I must add), and my eye caught this adorable fellow. I knew it was the JBD I'd been waiting for, and gleefully clicked on the topic. I suppose the rest of the story is rather obvious. But, I will have my say: I've realized that a chracter does not have to be complex to be amazing. Amar has already stolen my heart. He has the most charming, simple design, and yet every stripe motivates me to write these words. He is really quite fascinating, and I honestly can't blame you for wanting to keep him. But I'm glad you didn't, 'cause now I've got a chance to win him! ;3

Image
Kindness
Alright, alright, let's hear it for the most overused attribute in character history. But, however boring it may sound, Amar's kindness does not show itself in the usual ways. If passing a beggar on the street, Amar does not drop loose change in his paws, but instead walks to the nearest shop window with a "hiring" sign in it, asks for the manager, and tells him/her that there's a dragon hard on his luck just around the corner, and undoubtedly he'd work incredibly hard for your extremely small pay (despite how much the manager does pay) and would you mind employing him for me? Thank you. Amar doesn't take credit for what he does, he does it because of the little lesson he nearly worships in his life: what goes around, comes around. And though Amar has not yet received his reward for his kindness (or perhaps his eviler side is balancing it out) he will not stop giving until he does. He is someone who'll give to charity if he has the smallest amount to spare. He tries to be polite and civil, always (well, not always) sweet and compassionate. Amar's heart is good, it just occasionally strays in the wrong direction. Which brings me to my next point.
Selfishness
Completely the opposite of kindness, so you're probably wondering, how can two such completely different attributes exist in the same JBD? The truth is, no matter how much we try to be kind, there's always an inkling of selfishness inside us. Such an inkling exists within Amar, though it is significantly larger than most. For, however hard Amar tries to be generous, his greed lingers. Amar is a rather sentimental person and he detests giving absolutely anything up, even when it is unneeded. He's stingy with his possessions and, though he always helps others in need, will never give anything of his own up. Amar is positively mean to anyone who merely suggests that he give something away. He hates it about himself, but he can't help it; it is a trait that's been passed down through the generations.
Stubbornness
Amar is the kind of person who likes to be in charge. That means, no arguments, no talking back, and absolutely nobody who challenges his opinion. He has no respect, really, for his elders. (If he was at Hogwarts he would probably be in Slytherin! Random fact over.) He cannot stand to be contradicted, will never listen to anybody else; his personality nearly always dominates in any group. Amaranthus' stubbornness was no doubt caused by his haughty parents, whose bullying-style parenting turned Amar into a rebel. He cannot obey orders, and in school he always was the troublemaker of the classroom. This clashes strongly with his usually quiet attitude, he is devilishly clever and never gets caught. Which, of course, can be explained...
Cunning
Amaranthus has, in actuality, an extremely swollen head. He just thinks he's the best, though of course he has self doubts sometimes, especially since he suffers from depression. Amar has a snarky smile, a knowing gleam in his eyes, just all these little things about him that let you know the this unusually small JBD is the one in charge. Amar is cunning. He knows how to get his way, to play unfailing pranks, and is smarter than most, in his own way. In the way that schoolwork or pointless math problems do not interest him a bit, but the challenge of breaking into an old abandoned warehouse does- his eyes light up, his mouth twitches, and he grins that insufferable grin. Amar simply loves challenges, but only mental ones. He is a rather nonphysical JBD and lacks in agility and strength.
Competitiveness
Of course. Amaranthus is one who simply cannot resist a challenge. He is not the sportsy type, and plays with brain and wits alone. His daring, nerve, and strategic plotting make him both a dangerous and amazingly underestimated. Of course, Amar doesn't look like much- but that just goes to show, doesn't it? Amar is sadly gullible and weak to goading, taunting, and teasing. He has a fire inside him that blazes when faced with a challenge of any kind. Amar appears so controlled, so calm, on the outside, but within he is fiercely struggling to contain himself.
Impulsiveness
Perhaps the most undetectable part of Amar's personality. He always seems to have a plan, to be so in control. But the simple truth is that he only doe whatever he thinks best in the heat of the moment. This, obviously, leads to some rash and ineffective decisions. Amar, being so young, is considered a genius, maybe, but his true nature is well hidden.

Image
Amar was born into a JBD family that prides itself on not have once had a descendant who was adopted. Pompous and arrogant, they always kept their son well away from humans and lived in the basement of a castle ruin some miles away from civilization. Amaranthus' parents raised him to hate humans, but Amar thankfully resisted their teachings. "I want to find out for myself" is what he said to many of their lectures, for he'd long since realized that his family was not the most trustworthy JBDs who ever lived and his natural curiosity won out.
At one year old, Amar was already a rebel. Not in the type of way that he turned all emo or anything- no, he just worked by night on his escape plans. Brain puzzles, that was what so appealed to him about running away, and he was positive that he'd never look back.
In actuality, his parents were so stupid that whatever plan he made up, no matter how faulty, it probably would have worked. But you must remember that this is Amaranthus' plan, and that Amar is someone who simply loves challenges.
At fifteen years old, Amaranthus at last put his plan into action.

>> Insert story one below here. <<

After his escape, Amar decided he'd be better off living alone. He began to travel away, mostly by foot, but occassionally hitching a ride with another JBD. And he began to question his on purpose. What was the point, he wondered, to go on? Was there a point? Was it destiny? Or was he perhaps so selfish that he'd left only for himself, and now his parents were sobbing and wondering where he was now?
His parents, actually, were enjoying a cup of hot cocoa and enjoying their new freedom by the fire, while each pondered what to give the other for their anniversary the next day. Trust Amar to know his parents so well.
Amaranthus finally reached the small, snow-covered town of Weed, where many JBDs resided. Hoping to find a human who'd take him in and prove his parents forever wrong, Amar decided to stay at the JBDs-only inn just outside of town. He crossed the lobby in a state of exhaustion. All day he had been trying to find someone to adopt him, but his efforts were resisted. All the humans wanted sweet, loving JBDs as companions. There was no place for a cheeky dragon with a name like 'Amaranthus' here.
"Hello." Amar reached the desk. A very pretty yellow JBD was on the other side, rolling her eyes at Amar's pompous manner.
"Whaddya want?" she asked in a dull and slightly slurred voice. "If you're asking for money, I ain't got any. Payday is on Saturday. And I wouldn't donate to you anyway."
Amar lifted an eyebrow, but said nothing, though he was aching to let out a snappy retort. Instead he took a breath. "I'd like to rent a room for the night."
"What, here?" The yellow JBD laughed unsteadily. "Are you kidding me? In this dungheap?"
"Are you insane?" hissed Amar, unable to contain himself. "You work at an inn, and you're trying to discourage me from staying here? I have money! And if you don't want my business I might as well go stay in the other inn, you know, the popular one."
He whirled around and was nearly out the door when he heard the yellow JBD's voice again, as he'd known he would. "Hey, cowboy! Come back here! We're full for the night, but Egg's coming soon to take over. I'll take you on a tour of the town, don'cha want one?"
Amar stopped and turned again. "Any why should I trust you?"
"So suspicious! You should be a bleepn' cop or somethin'." The JBD managed a hiccupy laugh. "Come on, now." She leapt down from her stool and bounded lopsidedly to Amar's side. He was a head taller than her, which was really saying something, because Amar was smaller than 87% of the male JBDs his age, as the statistician had told him.
"But-" Amar stopped mid-sentence when he spotted a dull brown colored JBD rounding the desk to take her place. Egg, her replacement. "Okay. Let's go."

>> Insert story two from below here. <<

A year later, Amaranthus deserted Weed forever. He continued his journey north, his heart broken, and at last got a job at a human-jellybean dragon matchmaking facility. He moved into a small apartment, which he repainted white and threw the television out the window. {{I'm not actually sure if JBDs have paint and TVs... but oh well}} Literally.
So far, Amaranthus hasn't dated anybody else. He hasn't found a mate either. And he hasn't met his parents again. But he doesn't mind. He's still got a lot of life ahead of him.

Image
Amar does, in fact, have a favorite food, though he's very picky. He absolutely loves rock candy. For some reason this does not fit Amaranthus at all; his more refined general taste and gourmet cravings don't match the overly sweet rock candy taste he enjoys so much.

Image
Masala chai tea is Amaranthus' favorite drink. Just like with rock candy, the sweetness of this drink is contrary to Amar's personality, but it bears mentioning that he drinks it without sugar. Also, he and Lemonade drank some chai tea during their night out together.

Image
story one
Amaranthus sighed and wondered whether he should pack away his papers for the night. There was a mouse hole in the floor that he usually stuffed his work through. But tonight he hesitated. The escape was taking too long, and he knew it. He'd started working on this when he was one year old- a baby, and already a genius, he thought, slightly smug. But now he was fifteen. Years and years had been wasted on this plan that had evolved the the point of impossibility. Obviously he wasn't going to be able to build a robot replica of himself to stay behind a fool his parents. He'd have to escape the good old-fashioned way- leaving no trace of himself behind.
Amar sighed and began pushing the papers through one by one- he'd put a basket underneath that was rigged to push them through the crack in the wall when he needed them. Suddenly he stopped. A brilliant, foolproof idea had suddenly occurred to him. It needed no fine-tuning. He would escape tonight.
In the kitchen there was a dumbwaiter. And the dumbwaiter went down from the kitchen, rather than up. Amar's bedroom was directly three floors below the kitchen. Was it possible the dumbwaiter reached that far down? If Amar tried to escape via hallway, his parents would hear him for sure. They were both light sleepers. But a creak from the wall wouldn't bother them a bit- theirs was an old house, and was always creaking at night. Amar stood and began turning, searching the wall. Amaranthus, thankfully, had always been a neat person, and the walls were mostly bare. He saw, to his frustration, that there wasn't any boarded-up spaces where an entrance to a dumbwaiter might be. And no part of the wall was covered.
"Stupid," Amar said aloud to himself as his eyes snapped onto the bookshelf, which was the only furniture against the wall (except for the bed, and the bed wasn't hiding anything. Amar had spent too much time looking for a hiding place for his plans not to know this). He froze as a gaspy snore rumbled from somewhere above, but apparently his parents hadn't woken up, because the snoring calmed again.
Quietly, Amar pushed the bookcase away from the wall. Though it wasn't very heavy, he was panting after it had been pushed clear. His shoulders ached. But he ignored it and instead satisfied himself with the pleasing result. A thin slit was visible through the paint covering the entrance. Amar guessed that it was either boarded up or had a door that swung open. But then he reasoned that it was probably a door, because the line was too smooth.
Amaranthus looked around for a battering ram and found nothing. He was careful not to keep anything that could be used as a weapon in his room, just in case his father got a little too mad. So he did the only thing that came to his mind.
He used himself as a battering ram.
Amaranthus' vision went blurry as he sat up, having crashed headlong into the wall and fallen over. He wasn't even sure if he'd hit the right target. His head hurt like heck and he felt ashamed of the tears oozing out of his eyes. At least Delilah from the bookstore, who was very pretty and whom he was sure had been hinting to him, wasn't there to see. Or was she...? Amar's eyes widened as he glimpsed some green at the corner of his vision.
"Stop," he said aloud, a bit too loudly. "You're cracking up. Delilah isn't here. Now punch in that stupid door."
He knew he had been hallucinating when he blinked, and the green was gone. He stood and strode away to the opposite wall, then turned to face the dumbwaiter entrance again. "You can do this," he told himself firmly, then rushed at the door.
Amar expected to hit the wall again and fall over, perhaps knocking himself out in the process, but this time his paws hit the wall before his head, and it turned out to be a stroke of luck, because he didn't knock himself out. Instead there was a splintering of boards as Amar plowed right through the dumbwaiter door and tumbled six floors down to the dumbwaiter, which creaked ominously as Amar and parts of split boards landed on it. The dumbwaiter hadn't been in use for some years, and had been built in the early twentieth century along with the rest of the house. But luckily Amar was so small for his age that it held him easily.
That wasn't the problem. The problem was that the noise of Amar's self-induced battering ram, combined with the crash of his landing two floors below, had woken both of Amaranthus' parents up. And they were not happy.
"What is wrong with him?" moaned Amantha Ama, stretching and standing up. There were dark circles under her eyes.
"Amaranthus. He'll never learn." Amanthitus Ama rolled over swiftly, landing on his feet. "Where is he?"
"In his room, of course. Where else would he be?" asked Amantha nervously. She was unintentionally drumming her tail against the floor.
"Maybe he's in the basement? Because that noise came from below us, if you haven't noticed, Amantha Ama!?"
Amantha flinched and scurried out the door. Amanthitus followed.
Amar groaned in pain and slowly sat up. If he'd been in pain before, it was nothing to what he felt now. But even in his state of shock, he could tell that he'd made a lot of noise. Silently cursing himself, he stretched out until he could feel a cable in the absolute darkness. He shuffled over and grabbed it in his teeth. Thankfully he grabbed the right one on his first try. As he pulled down, the dumbwaiter went up.
Time stretched on as Amar repeated the exercise over and over. Than there was another crash from below. He was at least four or five floors up by now. Amanthitus had bashed in the basement door to the dumbwaiter.
Amar stopped pulling when he heard his mother's shaky voice, echoing up the shaft. "Amaranthus, dear, please, come down. Your father and I know what you're trying to do. We don't want to have to hurt you."
"Hurt me?" Amar let out a laugh, because he knew it would incense his father. "How could you hurt me?"
"Come down, son," Amanthitus took his wife's place, calling up the dumbwaiter shaft. "I can go wait for you in the kitchen. You can't get away with this. It'll be a lot quicker and safer if you just come down right now." He was trying to keep his voice level, but it wavered with anger.
"Come and get me then!" Amar yelled, and yanked as hard as he could on the cable. The dumbwaiter shot up. Amar reached and yanked again. Over and over. He could hear a thunderous drumming as his parents ran up the staircase. It was a spiral one, and hopefully long enough to keep them at bay.
Amaranthus reached the opening in the kitchen, which thankfully was the only one not blocked by a door, just in time to see his father roar with anger and triumph as he skidded in through the doorway. Amar dashed across to the other door, leading into the living room. Amanthitus dashed after his son. Amaranthus ran to the fireplace and pushed himself into the chimney, scrabbling to get purchase on the bricks. He was a ways up when Amanthitus reached the fireplace and wedged his head into it, managing to grab Amar's tail with his teeth right before it whipped out of reach.
Amar clung to the inside of the chimney, struggling to keep his grip. Amanthitus was pulling rather hard, and pain shot up Amar's spine as he tried to pull himself up.
"Come... down... now..." Amanthitus hissed through Amar's tail.
"No!" Amar shot back. "Get your filthy spit off of me!" He took one paw off the chimney's inside, only just managing to keep his balance, and struck out as hard as he could before wrenching his tail out of his father's grip and scrambling up the chimney.
The fresh air on his face felt like his first breath of life to Amar. He hauled himself out of the chimney and staggered away, collapsing before he got very far. He breathed in deeply, then forced himself to stand again and began to run. He was leaving for good.

story two
"The name's Lemonade." The yellow JBD told Amar as she led him along the road to town. They passed a sign Amar remembered: Weed; 1 mile. "But you can call me Lemony. Or Ade. Ade, isn't that something now?" She let out a wheezy chuckle. Amar said nothing. He was starting to doubt this trip.
"You wanna ice-skate? They got this real good rink in town. I ain't so good at it, but oh well!" She smiled at Amar, who momentarily forgot his suspicions as his heart lurched. She really was awfully pretty.
Lemonade kept up this one-sided conversation all the way into town. Amar learned a lot about her this way. Lemonade lived in the doghouse behind the inn illegally (there was no dog). She had eight brothers, all of which had died somehow. Amar wasn't really paying attention to the details. Lemonade usually ended up spending her money at the ice rink, and so she depended mostly on her flaky friends for money and food. They all seemed to be into gambling, apparently. Amar just ignored her, mostly.
When they at last reached the rink, they saw it had closed an hour ago. "Oh. I guess I forgot they close early on Tuesdays. Sorry, uh, what was your name again?"
"Amaranthus."
"That's one hell of a name. What should I call your then? Cause I ain't calling you that."
"Amar will do," he said coldly. "Now where?"
"Uh, well, I guess we could go to the cafe. Huh, they got real good chai tea! You ever tried chai?"
"No. But my parents had some earl gray tea. We had it sometimes, for special occasions."
"Hell, you only know earl gray. Well isn't that something," Lemonade said dryly. "You ain't lived your life if you ain't tried chai. It tastes like nothing at first, but they got a whole pitcher of sugar at the cafe and once you load it up it tastes just like sugar!"
Amar didn't see the point of having tea if you were just going to drown out the flavor with sugar, but he didn't say anything.
The cafe was a small but busy little place not too far from the rink. Lemonade shoved JBDs aside, ignoring their protests, until she and Amar reached the counter. The JBD behind the counter, a handsome green male, brightened when he saw Lemonade.
"Well, if it isn't the girl who puts the lemon into the ade! What would you like today, sweet?"
"Two chais. I'm gonna introduce it to my friend, uh, Amag here."
"Amar," Amaranthus hissed into Lemonade's ear, but she wasn't listening.
"Well well well. A newbie. I'll let him have one for free, then, because I can just tell he's broke."
"I have money, thanks," spat Amar, but Lemonade chirped brightly over him. "Oh, isn't that lovely. Thanks, dearie, Washington."
His name is Washington? Amar rolled his eyes, but accepted the steaming mug of chai from the green JBD and turned to see Lemonade already at a little table in the corner. "Yoo hoo, cowboy!" she called cheerfully to Amar, who hurried over to her with the handle of his mug clamped in his mouth. When he reached Lemonade, he saw she was pouring sugar into her cup.
"How much sugar are you planning to put in that?" Amar asked testily. The pitcher, which had been nearly full, was now about half gone.
"Oh, I dunno. It just tastes so darn good!" Lemonade laughed.
Amar decided not to put any sugar in his chai; he doubted there would be any left after Lemonade was finished anyway. He picked up his mug again and chose a table near the window. Snow was streaking the dark sky with white flecks now.
Amar looked up in surprise as Lemonade sat beside him. It was a bit awkward because there was a perfectly good spot across from him, and yet the yellow JBD had decided to sit next to him anyway.
"Uh, not to be rude, but would you mind sitting across from me instead? I'm kinda... squashed..."
"Oh." Lemonade looked disappointed. "But don't you like it like this? It's very... cozy..."
Amar could hardly muster the breath to answer her. "Ever heard of personal space?"
"Come on. Don't you act all snarky. Let's stay like this, it's real nice and warm."
Amar could certainly feel warmth flooding through his body, but he doubted it was from Lemonade, who was still damp from outside. In fact, the heat seemed to be settling mostly in his cheeks. He tried to scoot away, but was trapped between the window and Lemonade. So he took a shaky sip of his tea. It was one of the best things he'd ever tasted, and he closed his eyes to enjoy the taste, only to open them again and find that Lemonade's nose was an inch from his own. She was looking at him very sincerely, and smiling slightly at his confusion. Amar was sure she was about to kiss him. {{can JBDs kiss? I think so.}}
So Amar did the only sensible thing for his non-romantic brain. He shoved her as hard away from him as he could, than hopped over her and scrambled out the door.
That night Amar slept at the other inn on the far side of town to avoid Lemonade. He was still burning with guilt and shame. He'd liked her, and she'd liked him back. So why had he panicked?
The next morning he trudged across town and down the road to the inn. He walked around the back, hopped the fence, and peered into the old wooden doghouse in the scraggly yard behind. Inside was Lemonade, curled up and fast asleep.
"Hey. Lemonade."
She woke with a grunt, and when she spotted him she narrowed her eyes. "What are you doing here, Amag?"
"Amar. And I came to say sorry."
"Yeah, whatever. Sorry ain't gonna cut it."
"Please. Can we be friends?"
"Please. Can you not freak out next time I try to kiss you?"
"Okay, you've made your point. How about I take you on a date. Tomorrow."
She grunted again. "Tomorrow's Christmas Eve."
"Yeah, and...?"
"I was gonna go see my bro."
"You said your brothers were dead."
"Oh. I did? Fine, you've got a deal."
"Alright. I'll pick you up at six."

Amar and Lemonade successfully dated for nearly a year before Lemonade dumped the poor JBD for the alluring Washington, breaking Amar's heart completely. He'd began renting a small apartment in town and even gotten a job at the rink before Lemonade discarded him. Amaranthus left the day after the tragedy, on Christmas Eve a year later.

Image
Amanthitus Ama never had much of a problem with his parents' views as a child. He grew up in the very house Amar did, and when he reached twenty-five he took a trip of the world, though he really only traveled a few miles, because in the city of Blackburn he met his future wife.
Amanda Ama's given name was Mandy Waters, but she changed it when she married Amanthitus to fit his family. Though she would never admit it to her husband, she deeply wished to leave him many years before Amar was born.

~ | Jaze | ~
Still a WIP!

մʂҽɾղɑʍҽ:
little filly

ղɑʍҽ:
Jaze (jay-zhe --rhymes with 'gaze')

ղìϲҟղɑʍҽ:
He just prefers to go by Jaze.

ցҽղժҽɾ:
Male

ɑցҽ:
Adult

Ŵhγ Υøû Ŵαŋŧ Him:
So, I've been seeing a lot of the Jellybean Dragons, lately, and I thought that maybe I'd try out for one. I was originally looking for a darker design, but even though this isn't what I was looking for, he struck me immeadiatly when I saw him. I really don't blame you for wanting to keep him! He's really beautiful, even if his markings are rather simplistic. They're not very complicated, yet they, and he speaks clearly to you, for what they are. He makes you want to look beyond what you see, beyond the fur and markings. To question the mystery in his eyes and the nature of his soul. He's very captivating.

քҽɾʂօղɑӀìէվ:
~The Outside~
Jaze feels the need to protect himself from getting to close to others he doesn't know or trust. True, he's a bit lonely, but he learned that being too trusting makes you too easy a target for betrayal.

♦Distant♦
Jaze is seemingly aloof once you first meet him. And, for some time after that. He prefers to remain distant, to never get all too close to someone he doesn't know if he can trust. Jaze is very weary of those he lets close to him, and he comes off as rather cold and lonely, though this is only the 'hard-outer shell' he prefers to wear.

♦Cautious♦
Jaze has always been a very careful dragon. He watches every step he takes, and thinks everything over. This, however, makes him very indecisive. He very quick to doubt and second-guess. He's forever watchful and alert to what is going on around him, and is rather suspicious with anything that doesn't seem right to him.

~Under the Skin~
Once you get to know him, Jaze can be a very gently dragon. He's very patient, kind, and willing, and as long as you're willing to understand and accept him, he will be willing to accept you.

♦Loyal♦
Jaze is very careful with his trust, though, once he does accept someone, he opens his heart all the way, and will always be there for them. He is a little bit over-protective, though, which usually ends up making him look pushy in some situations, but he hopes that his true friends can look past that.

♦Patient♦
Jaze is usually patient with others, if they make an effort to understand and accept him. If not, he can be a bit snappy, but he tries his best.
He's the type with a long fuse, but a very explosive temper, if you manage to get onto his last nerve. It's very hard to do that, though, as long as you don't annoy him right off. Even if you do, though, he probably won't do more than snap at you.
When he is angry, he's not afraid to use fire. He'd never hurt anyone with it, but it is an effective way to startle someone.

հìʂէօɾվ:
Jaze actually doesn't remember too much of his earlier days, or his parents. All he can recall is wandering around alone, for sometime, trying to find a home, and, in the mean time, figure out how to take care of himself. It was during this time that he taught himself to be careful aloof, and being on his own shaped much of him into what he is today.

Fανǿurĭŧε Fǿǿd:
Anything edible. Jaze isn't too picky about what he eats. Well, as long as it's not entirely disgusting.

Šŧørγ:
"I remember walking down a broken road during a rainstorm. Water was dripping and soaking through my fur, but by now I was used to it. I knew I needed to find somewhere to stay, soon. I'd done well on my own so far, but I didn't really like living like this, out on my own, just trying to find another meal. I needed a home, somewhere I could live, someone I could trust, someone to care about and for me. I trudged on. Seeing the outline of a small town in the dim, gray, rainy light, I surged on ahead. Maybe, there was someone here who would adopt me. Maybe I can finally find a home."

Aʀʈ:

Name:kissure
Nickname:kissy
Gender: Male
Age: Adult
Why You Want Him:he is very cute and beautiful~

Personality: *At LEAST two paragraphs*
Kissure is kind, fun loving, goofy JBD he loves to explore and discover new things. Kissure is kind to all of the JBDs and their owners. He loves to swim and rock climb. He makes all of his friends laugh with his hilarious jokes.

Kissure, although fun loving and kind, sometimes makes mistakes in his words and actions. His jokes can sometimes cause a little bit of uncertainty in other JBDs and owners. He also sometimes, pranks other JBDs and owners causing them to avoid him. He usually means well, but just makes a mistake or two. Even though he sometimes makes mistakes, his friends still love him.
History: *At LEAST two paragraphs*
Kissure isn't one of those guys who have some horribly sad back story about his parents death when he was just born. No, his life was, well, very normal. He had loving parents and loving siblings he was the youngest of his litter though. That was all. He was the youngest nothing more nothing less. His life was dead normal.

He although normal in other ways, got into trouble a lot for pranks. He had many friends who stood with him always. His worst prank though, was when he poured mayo on an older JBDs chocolate sundae. He got punished good for that one. But, he and his friends laugh about it now.
Favourite Food: Well, Sundaes of course! His favorite kinds are lemon, strawberry, and banana. He once ate five at once. Mmmhm he did. It was a dare. From a friend. Although he surpassed it because the dare was to eat four.

Story:I think I covered this in history
