How do you or your RPWs spread holiday cheer?:
Most of my rpws are scrooges or They usually spend holidays with their close families, but James donates alot to homeless shelters and gives to the poor to have a hotel/motel room for a few nights/etc. He also makes alot of food to give out to those who need/want it!

It's now day 11!
Like yesterday, you have the option of answering a question in order to receive an additional ticket. To earn one additional ticket, please answer the following: What is a family tradition that you or your RPWs have? You have to have a minimum of three, descriptive sentences! If you answer the question for today, you will get a total of two tickets for today.

Day: 11
What is a family tradition that you or your RPWs have? Again, I shall be skipping on my RPWs to avoid drowning you all. I have several family traditions, especially during the winter. Number one: we always celebrate Hanukkah. Normally, Hanukkah is celebrated with lighting the candles on our menorah and a few presents given out over the course of the eight days and occasionally even before or after, depending on the exact nature of the gift. This year, we also celebrated it by sighing in relief that we didn't set our house on fire (thanks to my sibling). Number two: we always watch New York celebrate the New Years on TV. Now, I'm not saying that we all stay awake to actually see it, but who's counting? And number three: we always end up super stressed together. After all, aren't you supposed to spend time with your family during the holidays? Why not spend it stressed? (Yeah, no, it isn't too much fun. But at least we're together.)

What is a family tradition that you or your RPWs have?: My family used to all sit on mum and dad's bed in order to open all the goodies in our stockings. We'd get everything open and then dad would get dressed and go walk my childhood dog. Only after he came back were we allowed to go downstairs and open presents.
Unless I post somewhere, I'm not selling/trading closed species critters.

Day: 11
What is a family tradition that you or your RPWs have?: A family tradition that I have is that we don't eat the big Christmas meal on Christmas day. Instead, we eat out at for brunch, and then we go home and open presents and stockings. Then, after we've spent several hours doing this - my family isn't large, but is large enough that we need to take several hours opening all the gifts and sorting through them - we take pictures of ourselves with what we got so we can send our thanks to family members by the end of Christmas Day. We usually end up a large Christmas meal the next day, as it is less stressful on whomever is cooking it to do so not on Christmas Day, but on a day where we're not being rushed around so much.

What is a family tradition that you or your RPWs have?:
Zinnia lives alone and doesn't visit family, so she made up her own solo tradition, which is labeled by her as "me shopping." This "me shopping" is where she takes advantage of the christmas deals and buys stuff for herself. Every year she usually reluctantly buys one or two gifts for homeless wolves and wraps them up. (This would be one of the most selfless things she does a year!)

What is a family tradition that you or your RPWs have?: On Christmas eve, we hang up a ornament of a pickle. It resprests to have an extra gift or so under the tree, just in case a guest comes that you of not be ready to give a gift for. Its kinda silly for the pickle to be up, but was something started at some point in the states so (because america) we brought the tradition in. We also believe in opening 1 gift per person the day before, all being gifts we have for eachother. (Not santa cus well he hasnt sent the gifts out yet). Its sweet and sentimental and any times a good time for gift opening!
