"My adventure? Life is an adventure, but...Ok, fine.Chapter 1:
My storyThey're all silver and always travel in pairs. One holds a light blue rod shaped as a spear. Two black rings circle the rod, sending energy to the tip. Touch it, and you're in for a bad shock.
They wear silver, metal helmets with two spikes, or horns might you call them. They wear gloves and a mask under the helmet. Their eyes are always recoloured to red, through a special filter in a helmet. They have light brown trousers tucked into black boots. Each has a single brown pocket. There is no way to tell who they really are, that is for most.
'They' are 'soldiers'. 'They' work for the 'organisation'.
For years now I've been hunted by these people. I used to be part of them, and I was once very high up in the organisation. But that was in the past and hardly matters now. At this current time, I'm seen as their enemy.

The one looking up at me, they're an old friend. At first I thought they'd be mad at me and not help, since I did end up getting their dream role in the organisation, but to my surprise they agreed to help. They have been doing two things for me. One is keeping the other one away from my location whilst I try to escape. I want to return to my home in the jungle, but the area's surrounded. The other thing is they have access to the organisation's data files. This means I can get direct information on when and where the organisation is going to be, giving me a constant advantage.
So why is returning home so hard? Well, using all the advantages I have, I could easily return home, but that's only scratching the surface. See, I own this crystal orb. It's trapped inside a rock, but it's value is priceless to the organisation. They've advanced in their technology a lot in the last year and have discovered a new energy. They energy is like electricity, and for a while was it was even considered a second type of electricity, but it isn't electricity. It has no real power on it's own, it is actually next to useless in it's raw form. However, combine it with, what a coincidence, the same material the organisation's main weapon is made from, the spear-rods (Lets call them just spears from now on) and you can create a portal with some added technology the organisation already has. I was a core theories analyst (working on a space-time project), but in simpler terms I studied the idea of portals and how to create a portal. At first, I was all up for the idea, but as I studied and looked into it, I had other thoughts.
The portal the crystal orb can create will be incredibly unstable. If it collapsed, it would ultimately form a black hole, right in front of us. This mean's certain death for us, our planet and our solar system. This, however is only if it collapses, so the organisation think they can find a way to somehow stabilise it. What they're forgetting to think of is how they're do that. The portal should collapse within seconds of it's creation so, for this reason, I have to do everything I possibly can do to prevent the portal from being created.
If I returned home now, they would know. I have the crystal orb with me, since it's too dangerous to leave behind anywhere.
Chapter 2:
Uncaught
"Hey, we know you're here Kelui! Show yourself!"
Oh, so the second one does speak. I was beginning to think it didn't. My friend stay's quiet. The second soldier, the one with the spear, turns around to face my direction. I don't quite catch what they say, but my friend begins to signal hand gestures. This is an emergency communication, so they really didn't have to spell out 'warning' first. I stay quiet, so does AirStream, the bird besides me. 'AirStream' is more of a nickname, but it's far better than his first name, 4238, that he was given by the organisation.
Airstream then turns around and begins to pull on my fur with his beak. I look at him, then I turn around. Ughh! More of these guys? The second soldier must have alerted the organisation of my whereabouts. No, that doesn't make sense. They haven't seen me yet. But there's more soldiers in the distance...
...They've known I was here all along, didn't they?
Well, I'm now jumping off the edge,if I land this perfectly, I'll be fine. If I don't, I run the risk of a broken bone and I will certainly be caught by the organisation. AirStream is flying close behind me. With a distraction, I can escape easily. A quick change of the breeze should be enough and...
The wind's direction changed. Hot air is now blowing into a colder area. Perfect.
I can feel a cool streak of air, followed closely behind by a warm drift. I land, on my feet, as I should, since I calculated my jump. Behind me clouds begin to turn dark. Manipulating the direction of the wind's flow was enough to trigger a storm. This isn't uncommon, it naturally happens anyway, given the correct circumstances. I simply took advantage of my surroundings and the current weather.
I run across the bare land and into a field. I run through some corn and into a woods. Here, I have cover, but it's just as dangerous. Whilst the organisation may not be able to follow me, they'll have an idea of where I may go. There's also many, many creatures that live here, in the darkest areas of woods. It partially reminds me of my home in the jungle, dangerous and packed with surprises. The difference here is, I don't know what surprises there'll be. A creature appears from around a tree. It's just a fox, its fine. I have to keep my calm. I can use the forest as a shortcut to get to the mountains that overlook my forest home. This is the most predictable thing I could possibly do, so I'm going to go a little longer through these woods to reach a village. Once I'm there, I'll still have to be careful. The organisation will have soldiers everywhere. They'll do almost anything to get the crystal orb. As I'm thinking, I'm darting between the trees as fast as I can. Constantly moving will help me hide from the organisation.
Stepping through some plants, I've reached the edge of the forest. I can see a small village and a fence up ahead. It's raining very lightly here, the worst of the storm's headed for the organisation's main base. Heh. They'll enjoy that.

AirStream has flown off in a different direction. The organisation have begun to associate him with me, so his original purpose as a spy is useless. This opens up the opportunity now for AritStream to divert the organisation's attention whilst I travel past the village. Re-grouping will be hard, but done correctly and the organisation won't know our location.
My task is to run up to the village without being spotted. The organisation should still be able to find me quickly and the ground ahead is open and muddy. There's also a fence I have to get around, but it's short, so I should be able to jump it. Still, every second I spend in the open is another second the organisation could catch me.
I have no time to waste, I have to run. I'm hoping I can jump over most of the mud, so I don't get stuck. Well, here I go! I'm sprinting out of the forest. I've only just realised how tired I am. I should have walked through the forest, but, eh I guess I was a bit scared? There's just a constant worry that the organisation will catch up with me again, I've had far to many close calls. I've now reached the mud. I jump, but don't go far. I've found myself wading through it, it's deeper than I thought. At least it's a sort of camouflage. I've reached the over side, I'm exhausted. I don't have enough energy to jump the fence, I'm just going to climb it.
I climb over the fence. Uhhhhh. That was too hard. It's growing dark as I'm stumbling up to the village. I hope the organisation aren't here. I think I'll stay the night here. Ah! AirStream's here. He must have lost the organisation easily then. That could be either good or bad, but I'm too tired to think. Nuhhhhhh I'mm going to...
Chapter 3:
The AwakeningI woke, suddenly. Uh? Where am?
I find myself in an oddly familiar white and silver room with glowing blue rods around the room. A voice, again strangely familiar, speaks to me.
"Ah, Professor Chamoru. It's really nice to have you back. Though, I'd love to be able to let you get back to your work, I do believe you have something for us?
Ah. I'm in the organisation's labs, aren't I? How did I get here? I remember I was tired so, perhaps I collapsed and got caught?
"You're wondering why you're here, aren't you? Really, I'd have thought with your intelligence you'd already know. Then again, your body isn't used to the energy rods, are they? You passed out seconds after even touching one."
Oh. That what happened.
"I have to say though, I'm impressed at how far you got in that time. One of our soldier managed to touch the tip of your foot as you created that annoying storm. You managed to run all the way to the village. That's far and you're a fast runner, surprising for someone who spend his time sat inside studying."
I've had enough, but I have to keep my calm. The voice speaking to me, her name is Mika. She's very clever and won't be tricked.
"I went on field trips too, you know. Besides, I've spent the past years running from the organisation, so-"
Mika interrupts me. She talks in such an empty voice, yet she speaks with a lot of hidden emotion.
"You know very well that's only because you have the crystal, give it up."
"I have morals, I wouldn't have taken it unless I had no option."
"You stole it. It's mine."
"No, the crystal orb belongs to the organisation, they may use it for good, considering what they've done in the past. But if you or anyone else hasn't come up with a way to stabilise the portal in the past years, I will destroy the crystal regardless."
"And how do you plan on doing that, Chamoru? You're trapped here and as long as you're here, the crystal won't be destroyed. Where have you been keeping the crystal, anyway?"
"I should tell you, because?"
"Because I'm the only one here who knows about you're friend and the spying they've been doing for you. What do you suppose would happen to them if I told someone about that?"
"You wouldn't. He'd fired, no... They know too much and-"
I begin to realise I'm trapped, not just in this room. I can't escape or even do anything Mika doesn't like. I gulp.
"They'd be killed, since they'd be a new threat."
"Yes, yes, you're beginning to return to normal."
"Wait, if I'm here, why am I not dead?"
"You have too much importance. Besides, I'm one of the very few who know you're here. The organisation are still as stubborn as ever, and won't attempt to find a way to stabilise the portal. You are my best bet at actually stabilising the portal. I'll let you free, along with 4238 who I captured."
"Where is he, AirSteam? What have you done with-"
"He's safe, alive and well. I have morals too, even if he is as annoying as ever, 4238 is unharmed. I'll let you both go if you do two things:
One, you must give the crystal to me. Two, you find a way to stabilise the portal. The last thing we all want is it collapsing."
"What do you want the crystal for? Besides the portal, what will you do?"
"Oh, you ask a lot questions, but I'll answer, since we were once friends. I want to use it to create the portal. I already have another and with two, I can create a teleportation portal. With that, I can advance with my work. You'll probably won't be able to work here, but I'll allow you to work from you're home to contribute to this."
"If I agree my friend, they get let off, right? And I and AirStream can go, free?"
"Yes."
I pause for a moment. This offer eliminates my original reasons for this whole thing.
"Fine then. I'll help."
Chapter 4:
Free AgainI'm free to return home, untroubled. The organisation are no longer trying to hunt me. I may not have a paid job anymore, but Mika let me and AirStream free and I can continue to work on what I love doing, even without the money. I live I deep into a jungle, just over the mountains near the village, so returning will take a few days. This is fine, though. I know the whole jungle well, so there's little problem.
I have been given a lift to the edge of the mountains, thanks to Mika. All we have to do is travel through the mountains and reach the edge of the jungle.
I quickly find myself walking along a familiar rocky pathway.

Not long now.
AirStream flies ahead. I begin to run.
We can see the jungle.
Chapter 5:
HomeWe didn't walk though the jungle. We sprinted, well I sprinted. AirStream flew at top-speed. We both knew the jungle very well. To be home again was an amazing thought, both of us couldn't wait.
I smell the fresh air.
"It's great to be here again."
AirStream replies.
"Yeah, how long has it been?"
"I've lost count, nearly 4 years?"
"Your plants will have all died by now."
"I'll have re-plant a lot of things..."
"I'll help you. In return, you can help rebuild my nest, eh?"
"Ok-
...
I really missed this place."
To be home after all this time feels so good.
