About Name: When I saw this guy I thought of Earendil from The Silmarillion (yea, I know I get a lot of my names from that book, but what can I say; I'm a Tolkien Freak!). Earendil was called the Half-Elven, and he sailed over to Valinor to plead for help from the Valar for both Elves and Men. He was also said to be very fair .

Personality: Haven is slow and easy-going. It takes quite a lot to frighten this big horse! But don't think he isn't intelligent. He is a people kind of horse, especially children. He's very gentle with them, but a little more playful and rough with grownups he know can handle him. Haven will eat almost anything sweet, especially chocolate, though he doesn't really like the more bitter varieties. He also adores cats, and he'll actually allow them to rest on his back. He likes to play hide-and-seek with his favorite cat, Pussy-willow, though Pussy-willow really does all the hiding! Haven also loves the rain. He'll stand with the water drizzling down on him and lift his bushy head up to the skies, greeting the rain. What Haven can't stand are flies, dogs, and when it rains really hard.
Future Mate/Crush: Haven hasn't met any mares yet. I think he will like any beautiful gal. . . though I think he'll like the sound of a pretty white Andalusian.
What will you do with him? Breed him (as soon as I get a CW mare); stare at him and think about how beautiful he is . . .
History: Haven escaped from his old owners who greatly mistreated him.

Ironman works his hardest at western pleasure. He is easily a winner, and loves what he does.
He isn’t good at anything fast paced. He doesn’t even try.
Ironman likes to take things slow, and sometimes is annoyingly slow. Almost to the point of the rider falling asleep.

Ironman was born in a fast looking stable, where barrel racing was the sport. He grew up being told day-in and day-out that he was destined for greatness next to the barrel. But he didn’t want that. Spinning around didn’t please him though, so he refused to do anything the trainer wanted. He nipped, bit, kicked, and reared to prove his point. Eventually, the stable master decided that he was dangerous. Ironman was sold, and works on western pleasure. He loves his job, and enjoys every second of it.

Ironman looked up, he was rolling on his back, and a horse was standing near him. He shifted onto his stomach, and looked up, eyes squinting. The silhouette was large, and boisterous. He knew this horse ment business.
Ironman stood up, and grunted as he did so, making a scene. As he shook of excess dirt, the horse cleared its throat. He turned to look, rolling his eyes as he did so. “And your problem is?” He asked sarcastically.
“I have no problem, I am here to address yours,” growled the horse in a feminine voice. She wasn’t that big, and was actually a small pony. She was black with white spots, and stocky. She was small, but sturdy. Her name was Indigo. “You continually hurt our humans. This has to stop. Our home is supposed to be a fun place, for every creature. You ruin that peace.”
Ironman laughed, “Why should I do that?”
“You are getting what you want. No fast workouts. It’s all western pleasure. You aren’t competing in barrel-racing anymore.” She snorted.
Ironman nodded, realizing the truth of this, “I will follow your rules, but, you can’t bother me again. I don’t like talking.”

The name ironman is special to me mostly because my father competed in three of the triathlons. I know he was based of the super hero, and that makes it even cooler.

-Blood Oranges: No one around him can quite understand his love of the fruit because he refuses to eat "normal" oranages. He goes crazy whenever he sees one and the person who's holding it no longer owns a fruit.

Dislikes:
-Being Alone: He has some bad experiences from his past and has an extreme fear of being alone, whether it be his human or horse companions that are not around.

History:
When his previous owners felt they couldn't give him enough attention, they donated him to a shelter so he could be re homed. He was used to his ranch lifestyle, and because that was taken away from him, he had separation anxiety and when combined with the fact that there were many other stressed horses, he tended to act up. He was passed over many times because of this and it led to him developing a social anxiety disorder. He was adopted out to a good home, but not before this took effect, causing him to develop an extreme fear of being alone for any period of time.

Why Do I Want Him?:
Well first he's a wonderful looking horse but also he seems like he's not getting any attention on here. He'll have a nice home with plenty of attention with me and I'll be glad to have him.

Reasons for Wanting to Adopt:
I just love the simplicity and beauty of her mane and coat, the markings are to lovely to resist! I really love how she reminds me of old western movies and cowboys when I look at her, even thought I can image her sitting in a field eating daisys instead of letting people "ride her like the wind". As soon as I saw her, I automatically knew that she would be the horse I choose to tryout for.

How I will Use Her:
I will love her like she is a real horse, and probably write a story about her life sooner or later. Even thought I don't have any Cotton Wood Ranch Horses, I will try to give her as much attention as possible, probably spoiling her in the process..

Going Deeper:
Personality: Maddie is a shy little foal who loves flower crowns and peace in the world. Basically she is a kind-hearted mare who loves to make friends. She doesn't very often speak up when talking, so she mostly whispers so she doesn't get attention. She has stage fright that will make her legs freeze up and cause her to stutter. Maddie often day dreams and gets lost in the "wonderful world of books" causing her to leap with fright if you say something to her in this state. Being the horse she is, she will sometimes let people take advantage of her innocent personality, but ounce she figures this out, she packs a surprisingly hard kick.

History: Growing up in captivity Maddie was rather quiet and domestic, she barely came out of her stall keeping to herself rather then interacting with other horses. Eventually, the owner of the farm managed to lure her out of the stall using a piece of his wife's homemade apple pie. In the beginning she stayed in the corner of the fence, but eventually she began interacting with the other foals in the farm. She was a really sweet foal, always asking kindly before doing something and playing gently with the other horses. As Maddie grew up, several Stallions grew to like her, but she was always to shy to respond leaving them to think she wasn't interested and mating with others. When she was 6 years, a good age for a horse, she took up the job of caring for the young foals and raising ones who's mothers have died. She has earned the nickname Mother of all Horses for her exceptional kindness to everyone and to this day she lives up to this name.

Companions: Maddie has never been able to find the one companion, but she has met a few friends along the way. She met a group of orphaned bunnies that had been left in the stables and took them in as her own despite the complications. She named them Carol, Sidney, Rob, and Ann. They lived with her for one year in till they got adopted by another family due to the owner of the stables not having the time to take care of them.

Likes: Flowers Crowns (Uses Daises and Lilys), Fantasy Books, The Black Stallion (Movies and Books), Playing with Sheep, Licking Icicles, Swimming, Cherry and Raspberry Pie, Singing Songs, Reciting Poems, Anime, Love and Peace
