later in the day, the trio of cats all met up at camp, in the small clearing expanding around the largest of the three two-legs structures. mouse had taken a small detour to bury the pidgeon they had caught, and the other two she-cats had already began to walk off when she attempted to catch up to them. assuming they had something of importance to talk about, mouse huffed and turned on her heels, starting off in the opposite direction. she'd at least do something useful while they were deep in conversation. the scout soon found herself in a section of the territory that she was unfamiliar with, and took her time to carefully explore it.

They spent a night hiding from the rain. In the morning, they both shook their fur, trying to get some of the mist and wetness away from it. Everything around was either water or wet with water. After an almost full day without sun, the air felt cold. Open fields gave no cover from the wind and Ravenash shivered. "Lets go for a run" he said. "We'll warm up and if we stay away from the grass, we may even be able to dry up." He looked especially cranky today. Water was clearly not his element.
They climbed up the path very slowly, taking special caution not to fall off the slippery rocks. As soon as they were both at the top, Raven caught an unfamiliar scent. He quickly looked around, trying to find it's source.

For the last few days, the small groups' life had gone a bit haywire after an unsuspected loner approached them. Or rather, they had approached Featherstar. This new cat had announced to the two that his name was Badgerpatch. The tom claimed to be a self-made medic, which he proved with his logic of herbs. He was incredibly friendly to the two. However, Larchgaze wasn't taken too kindly by this newcomer. On the other hand, however, Featherstar was ready to welcome this newcomer to their small clan.

The next few days were a bit of a haze for the group, as they mostly got to know each other better. They had gone on a few short patrols close by to their camp. However, they came back with nothing during those times. During the short time that had passed, both Badgerpatch and Featherstar had become rather good friends. The newcomer was attempting to get to know Larchgaze better as well. However, he was not buying it. He saw this newcomer as untrustworthy in his eyes, however, he tolerated him only since they were now clanmates.

The sun shined down on the trio as they left Featherclan's camp to go on a patrol together. The three of them headed into the forest to scour through their territory for supplies.

It was quit saddening to discover not a single prey was out on such a lovely especially how it had been a cold rainstorm which had forced them to hide in their dens, surely they should know the sun is bright and shining?
Cloverleaf felt her stomach grumble to him hunger, she sighed and found a quiet location under a tree they provided enough shade from the burning sun. She sniffed through her pickings and selected a delicious mouse as her meal. Eating in peace, she decided to hang around for a little while, having the beauty and peace all to herself before more cats would soon start joining her.
Actually, She had already gathered a female feline, age of an apprentice only a few days ago during the storm. She had left Brookpaw at camp, wanting the new cat to “guard the camp” while honestly, Cloverstar just wanted a few more times to herself before busying herself training the new apprentice.

Smokefeather and Starwalker breathed a sigh of relief as the fox passed them by. The two waited a few minutes before turning to head back home, picking up a shrew and a couple herbs on the way.
When they got back to camp, Tigerwhisker was sitting up, talking and laughing with two young mollies. He looked over at the approaching cats, and his face lit up.
"Hey guys! Glad you could join us! These two just showed up, looking for you, Starwalker,"
Smokefeather looked questioningly over at Starwalker. "Do you know who these cats are?"
Starwalker nodded and approached the two unknown cats. "Peach. Mouse. I'm so excited to see you two! Are you here to join my clan?"

After Starwalker performed the naming ceremonies for the two cats (now named Peachpoppy and Mousepaw), she and Smokefeather shared a rabbit to refresh their energy.
The five cats went out in search for prey and herbs. Mousepaw was quiet, taking in the sights and sounds of the forest. She had never been in so deep before. Peachpoppy and Tigerwhisker were talking softly, getting to know each other. Smokefeather and Starwalker walked in quiet comfort, both excited for the future of their new clan.

Splash wound around the upwalker's legs, mewing and purring like a kit for food. Normally the reaction was acceptable, if not good, but at times like this, it was downright bad. The upwalker spat out some vile sounding noises and waved their hands at Splash. He turned tail and fled, springing onto the wall surrounding the small garden and cowering on the other side as the upwalker shouted on. No food, no shelter, and now it was beginning to rain. Splash lifted his nose and let the cool drops trickle down his muzzle and hang on his long whiskers.

Slowly he lowered his head and slunk along the side of the wall, trying not to get too soaked. He fluffed his blue-grey fur up in an attempt to stay dry, he'd never sleep if he didn't manage to not catch hypothermia! He swept his tongue backwards over his chest and bounded along the edge of the moor to the lighthouse, where he slid underneath the stairs and crouched in the damp grasses bunched their. He hunched down and shivered anxiously there.

"Splash! Splash!" the child's lilting cry swept over him like a wave. He snapped his head up and scanned the area for Marella. Where was she? She had to be here. He heard her. There! His eyes widened in delight and he spotted her. The slim, blond girl he'd lived with for over a year... until a week ago. But he couldn't think of that now- she was back now- and Splash pelted towards her.

"Marcella!" he mewed insistently, pushing his muzzle into her palm and licking her in the manner of a dog. But his snout passed through her hand and he jerked back in shock. Marcella stumbled away, shuddering and fading. "Splash... Splash!" He shivered with shock as she stepped into the air and melded with the stars.

Splash stared at the moon floating above him, and felt his heart stop as another form came towards him. A glowing cat surrounded by eight others. "Splash, you have been chosen. You will lead a new clan and bring the legacy of StarClan back to life."

Bewildered, Splash watched as nine corresponding stumps literally grew underneath the cats. Each stepped forwards in turn and uttered the same words. "I hereby award you with another life." Nine times Splash received the a searing flash of pain as a cat touched their nose to his.

"You will be known as Shorestar, leader of CoralClan."

Splash woke up to be faced with a long haired calico staring down at him. "Good morning, Shorestar," she meowed, eyes bright. "My name is Shortshade."

Coming their way was a ginger tabby cat. Ravenash waited for Cloud to climb the rest of the way and led him up the gravel path onto a dry piece of land. There, they both sat and observed the intruder. Raven with suspicion, squinting his eyes and Blue with pure curiosity. "Let me do the talking this time" instructed the grey cat. 'He may be from another colony, came here to spy on us. We can't show him any weaknesses. Just sit here, observe and try to look intimidating." He eyes the fluffy white cat with innocent blue eyes. It would take a miracle to make him look intimidating. He shook his head.
The stranger walked nonchalantly with his bushy tail up high. At some point he stopped and picked a yellow flower with his teeth. He stopped short before the two cats and laid the flower in front of Blue. "A beautiful flower for a beautiful lady" he said with a nod of his head. Ravenash's mouth dropped in surprise. "Your eyes are more beautiful than sapphires". Blue looked at the stranger and then at Ravenash for help. The grey cat quickly closed his mouth and eyed the tabby cat suspiciously. "He's not a lady. Tell us what you came here for." "I had to appreciate the beauty of such magnificent fur." "Alright. Now tell us what you really came here for."
The orange cat sat down and wagged his tail. He shrugged. "I'm just travelling and this landscape was interesting enough to explore. I had no idea I would meet such a gorgeous cat here." He smiled cheekily. "But where are my manners. I'm Shiningheart and you?" Ash kept glaring at him. "We're interested where you're coming from and what you want from us." Shining grinned. "A little paranoid, aren't you? Very well. I don't mean you any harm. I come from a city clan, far away from here. It wasn't a lifestyle for me, so now i'm travelling solo, never staying in one place more than a couple of days. Although I might stay for longer if I could be with a cat as beautiful as yourself. Maybe forever" He looked deep into Blue's eyes flirtatiously. "Perfect!" Blue exclaimed and Ash grunted. "There's only two of us and we want to start a clan. We'll be glad to have you join us. Oh. Sorry" he looked at Ash apologetically, remembering that he was supposed to be quiet. Ravenash sighed. "How good of a fighter are you?" Shining laughed. "I'm a lover not a fighter." "Then we don't need you. Be on your way." Blue stood up. "Ash, we can't chase him away, he's basically homeless. If we want to create a clan where everyone can be happy, we can't force roles onto people. I'm sure he'll prove useful to our group!" Raven took a good, long look at Blue and sighed. This was going to be harder than he expected. "Fine. You can stay, for now." The ginger feline nodded his head. "Thanks. I'm sure we'll be best friends" Ash grunted and turned away.
