Hey everyone!
Okay, so the Explore section is going to work a little differently, as we are not allowed to have a roleplay kind of thing going on in the oekaki. So, I have made a thread in the Invite only roleplay section, where you may still try for your pokemon without spamming up the oekaki!

How it will work;

The artists will be able to post the pokemon, but you will have to play out the attempt to catch it in the roleplay.
There is an official roleplay here and the roleplay for catching pokemon.

In the official roleplay, you may play as your pokemon and trainer, but for the roleplay for catching pokemon, you will only be able to catch the pokemon.

I know this sounds a little complicated, but I am sure all of you amazing individuals will help us figure this all out <3

I already have a starter, but I'm confused a bit about what is and isn't a starter because some people let you choose anything not evolved and others say you have to choose real starters. Can anyone explain because I'd like to know ahead of time when I fill my 6 spots and get a new trainer.

Staff; Such as Artists, Mods, and others [?] are allowed to have any first evolution Pokemon as their starter for their professor/trainer if they wish so.
On the other hand, anyone that's not staff can only choose between game canon starter Pokemon [+Pichu and Eevee], which can be found here!

Artists, when they have professors, are allowed to choose basically anything (not evolved) as a starter
Pichu and eevee may be chosen as starters
but trainer/normal adopters must choose the basic starters
