How I Found Jasper

I suppose you could say I was an animal fanatic.
I would try and find strays on the streets as a kid, and pleaded
with my parents to take them in. They always said no.
Maybe they wondered why I suddenly stopped bringing in abandoned mutts.
I don't know, but I think I stopped because of Jasper.
When I saw him, I knew he was perfect.
Even in his scraggly state, his emerald eyes burned into mine like fire.
I named him Jasper, after those eyes that refused to give up.
I took him in, and fed him. When it was time for me to make a living
by myself, Jasper snuggled his way into my daily life.
I guess you could call it destiny, or happen-stance.
I believe it was just plain old luck.

Reason: When Edward first found this kitten out in the street, he believed it to be a fluffy, dirty grey kitten. It was a sad, quite, miserable little critter and Edwards solitary heart reached out to the little kitten. He scooped the little one up and brought it home with him. After a quick stop to pick up food the Plumie set to work cleaning the grime of the kitten, but when he started to see some orange appear on its fur he became suspicious. After a a long, bath with a squirming little hiss ball, it was revealed that what he picked up was not a grey kitten, but a ginger tabby instead. "Wow!" Fang had exclaimed, "Your just like a swifter, probably picked up every speck of dust on the street!" that when it hit him, that would be the kitty's name, his little dust collector, swifter.

Cat's name & why: the cat's name is concrete in an odd turn of events. alette did not find her on the concrete or anything, but what she did do is become so irritated with the naming process after adopting her is give up and choose a page at random out of the dictionary. she could have chosen any name on the c page, but she chose concrete because...it was funny.

Cat's name & why: Snoozer, he sleeps on Sammoths back all day except for when he is eating, playing, doing business, or Sammoth isn't around. Snoozer is absolutely in love with Sammoth and Sammoth found him on the streets as a cub. He was immediately in love with the small tiger patterned cat and took him home to care for.

his fluidity in movement helps with him get out of trouble easily.

Cat's name & why: This plumerian named his cat Ellis after the cat's original owner. His good plumerian friend, Ellis, bought this kitten as a present for his girlfriend, who was delighted and promised to take good care of the kitten. Three days later, Amos was wandering past her apartment when he found a small orange ball of fluff mewling next to a trash bag in the alley next to the apartment. Despite the fact that he previously hated cats, his heart went out to the kitten. Scooping it up in his palm, he discovered that the cat's paw pads were badly cut from sitting on top of a broken beer bottle. Seeing that the kitten was in no condition to walk, he lifted it carefully onto his back and walked the mile home to his house.

Upon arriving at his doorstep, Amos walked into the foyer and tried to pry the cat from his back with no avail. Thus the kitten began the habit of riding on his owner's back, something Amos also learned to enjoy. After a few months, Amos became too attached to the kitten to possibly give him up and named him Ellis after his old friend.

This cute little cat's name is Pan, short for Pandora. Leary found Pan at a shelter when she was a tiny kitten. Shortly after taking her home, Leary found out how much destruction this tiny thing could cause. He went through a lot of grief raising her as she would kick over her food bowl and would kneading Leary's hair as he was sleeping. Pandora eventually grew out of her rebellious habit but she stuck to her name like glue, occasionally causing problems for Leary when she wasn't getting the attention she wanted.
