Hiking again! Smolder thought happily, looking around the woods again. While he was still frustrated with the different terrain, he thought he was doing quite well in his hunting pursuits. Although, he still wasn’t quite sure why this was called ‘hiking’. He definitely would have called it prowling, like they did at home, or even just hunting, or scavenging, or even searching. Smolder rose and scratched at one of the large trees, sharpening his claws. He didn’t like the feeling of dull, blunt claws, especially with all this dirt and muck stuck under them. Maybe he could try tree hunting today?

Gremlin dutifully trekked across the grass, not a thought behind her amber eyes. Her fur was dripping from her earlier trip into the lake, she had been breaking into shivering fits every so often since the unfortunate activity. A trail of mud followed her soggy tail, but she didn't notice, too overtaken by tiredness to notice even the occasional, darting prey or valuable herb as she walked forward, no purpose in mind.

Sassy was feeling a bit tired today, so instead of pouncing around like she has been, she walks with the group, making small talk as she saunters. If a particularly easy piece of prey made it's way towards her paws, she wouldn't say no of course, anything to help the group.

She reminisces on the time she's been here so far, it's felt like moons, but it's only been a few days. What will be in store going forward, and lets her mind wander, wondering...

luminecloud took a large stretch, tail flicking in the dirt as she raised to her paws.
letting out a small huff, the pale molly look up and ahead of the trail, determined
to make herself and the clan proud. with a deep breath, she began to jog up the hill,
only to be alerted by lighter paw steps, that seemed be coming from above her.

halting to a stop, she looked up, for a line come to hit her smack in the jaw. lumine’s
eyes narrowed as she heard laughter, and the brown-yellow pelt of jenko, her pine marten
companion, met her gaze. rolling her eyes, she flicked her tail with annoyance, before
continuing to follow the trail. that pesky friend of hers would not get satisfaction from
his antics.

It is another beautiful day out, and Haywing has decided he no longer cares what the day brings, and what he finds or doesn't find along the trail. Today is a lazy day, a day where he just enjoys himself and accepts whatever comes, or does not come, into his paws.

Look on the bright side, though! At least if he finds trash he'll be helping to clean up the forest, which is a good thing really. Yes, today is a good day, and Haywing feels it in his bones as he struts off along the hiking trail.
