What do they fear the most?

Alena fears birds, a fear in which she freezes at the sight of a mere pidgeon and will scream as if she saw a spider when it comes running after her. Although this would have been hilarious for others to see, this actually impacts her life greatly - she will not go outside which limits her face-to-face communication - she feels that she cannot go out and get fresh air. Alena runs at the smallest sound of a bird. This is also why Alena adores cats and kittens, especially ones who like to catch birds.

He has a deathly fear of ducks and faints when one looks at him.
He will even jump in a lake and swim as fast as he can to get away
but gets exhausted soon and sinks in which he needs saving.
He really hates the bigger ones who nip at his feathers but is too
scared to speak up and tries to walk away but the always end up chasing him.

what do they fear the most? // Firefly is greatly sociophobic (and claustrophobic...), put in any social situation that requires interaction she cannot speak; she cannot interact socially. As a result she is lonely, an independent individual who cannot help but question her own self-worth constantly. She has one friend, Echo, who visits her on a scheduled basis (Firefly really likes schedules and organization) to make sure she's managing. Firefly is sometimes confused to be a mute because she speaks only to those she knows, and even around those she does know, she speaks rarely.

I turn to my friend, she's smiling. Her eyes shine with enthusiasm that I wish I could feel. I wish this experience wasn't so painful. She leads me to a group, a group she's familiar with. I recognize neither their faces, nor their ecstatic voices loudly calling out to my friend. They beckon to her as we approach them. My fur crawls, I want to leave, to find a nice quiet place with nobody around. However, before I can make a hasty escape, they've spotted me.
"Hey Echo! Who's your friend here?"
"Guys, this is Firefly!" My friend gives me a pointed look, reminding me of my task: make some friends. The look is not threatening as such, but I feel like I've been offered up as a sacrifice.
"Hey Firefly, having fun?" It takes me a few seconds to realize I was asked a question.
"Mmmph."
"What was that?" I cannot bring myself to attempt another reply, so I simply nod, hoping they can't sense my fear. What if they've already realized what a loser I am? What if they hate me? Oh, Echo will be so upset! She was so eager for me to make new friends, and I've gone and ruined everything! I am an awful friend.
"Are you okay, Firefly? You look...sick," somebody says to my left and I turn my gaze to them. Their expression shows their concern, but there's a hint of a smile. Is he laughing at me? I can't tell. He might have been, or maybe he genuinely wants to know how I'm feeling. I can't tell.
"Firefly?!" Echo snaps me out of my daze with the flick of her tail. "Are you okay?!" I stare at her for a while before I manage to nod slowly. She is unconvinced, and proceeds to lead me away from the group who immediately resume conversation upon my departure.
"I'm so sorry Echo! I tried, I did, I'm so so sorry for ruining everything," I mumble, holding back tears that threaten to cascade against my will.
"Don't be sorry, I shouldn't have forced you to speak. I just wanted you to make friends."
"It's all my fault, I just need to get over my fears, I need to talk to people," I whimper, my head hanging low. A single tear escapes, running down my face, to my nose and dripping onto the floor. I blink, lift my head and turn to her in one fluid motion. "And I will." There's no reason to be afraid, I can do this. What have I got to lose?
I approach them, my strides long and meaningful. I am strong, I am not afraid, I have to be!
"H-" I falter, almost choking on my own breath. They turn to look at me, clearly surprised that I'm back. I inhale deeply, closing my eyes. Everything will be okay. When I open my eyes again, they're gleaming with determination.
"Hey...sorry about that. Let me try again, my name is Firefly."
