Mark grins when he learns about the activity of the day; apple bobbing is right up his alley! The sobble manages to more or less patiently wait his turn, though he does fidget a bit due to excitement. As soon as it reaches his turn, he rushes up to the container full of water and apples and sticks his head in without hesitation, aiming for the biggest apple he can see. Fortunately, he manages to succeed in grabbing the apple without much trouble, and he soon raises his head back out of the water victoriously. It seems he's quite pleased with himself!
...Of course, it's going to be quite the challenge to stop him from going back to try again. ...And again...
Mark really loves water. And fruit. So this is basically the perfect activity for him.

Port stared into the barrel, his reflection shimmering in the cloudy water. Terra had taken one look at the water and refused to give it a try, while Sunie gently encouraged Port as to not lose out on any of the festivities. He gulped uncomfortably before dunking his head in, eyes trained on an apple... and missing. Sunie motioned for him to give it another try, but to no avail. Port sheepishly slid away from the barrel and let another mon give it a go, one was more than enough attempts for him.

Mucie didn't mind getting wet, not really- but he did mind the activity itself, bobbing for apples, sticking your head in a bunch of water, and for what? To grab a fruit? It just wasn't Mucie's style overall. But he didn't want to be a spoil sport or ruin anyone else's fun, so he got himself ready and plunged his head into the water. It took him a few attempts, from the mixture of feeling out where an apple was and trying to chase it around while also coming up for air now and again. Overall it only took him a few minutes and not too many tries, but when he came up to the surface with an apple, he couldn't help but sigh and grumble a bit as he spit out the fruit.

"Fools! With these apples, I will secure Halloween!" Pathogen explains creating a robot that separates the apple seeds from the core. Pathogen laughs, "Now, no one will stop me!" Bingus walks to the basket of apples. Quickly stopping as he notices the robot. Feeling like this is bad news, Bingus runs into the woods, dons his costume, and becomes Captain Punchout! The Stretchy hero swoops to the robot, his cape swaying in the wind. Pathogen glares at the hero, "Fire!" The robot whirls as the robot shoots out toxic seeds at the hero. Captain dives to the ground, sweeping the robot to the ground with a swift kick. "No! You blasted machine!" Pathogen growls. Captain grabs an apple and stuffs it into the chamber of the robot's gun. Using his powers, he grabs a pair of scissors. Snipping a few wires, the robot falls to the ground, making a loud thud. Captain Punchout walks over to Pathogen and puts his hand on his head. "Sending me to jail?" Pathogen sneers. Captain shakes his head, grabbing an apple and giving it to Pathogen. Giving Pathogen a smile and a thumbs up, he rushes away into the woods. Another October day saved.

He whole trainer suddenly stuck her whole face into the barrel and then back out, an apple actually in her mouth when she came back up. She took it out of her mouth and grinned. "You grab an apple! Simple as that! Now you try!!" Her trainer pushed her towards the barrel. The Blaziken rolled her eyes, You would catch her dead before you caught her sticking her down in a barrel full of water and apples. She quickly plucked an apple from the barrel using her hands and handed it to her trainer. Her trainer sighed. "Well, I guess that's one way...."

As Bob loomed over the tub full of water and apples, his king’s words replayed in his mind: win that apple bobbing contest or don’t come back. He was quite sure it was just another one of his majesty’s fits of insanity, but the Espeown wasn’t going to be taking any chances with that.

He sighed, closing his eye and focusing.
“The things I do for his majesty…w-why can’t I just bob for apples because its fun? … I-I’m keeping him waiting…”
He found himself muttering to himself, but soon enough he stuck his head in and scrounged away in the water. The contents splashed everywhere, soaking the floating orbs around him-- but he’d come up victorious with an apple after a short time. Despite how soaked he was, and the fact he was a bit disoriented by the sudden stimuli to his orbs, Bob seemed rather happy about this.

He could keep bobbing for apples for now, right? It wasn’t like his majesty could check if he won or anything, anyway….

Zander was ready to win some apples! With a little rub of his paws, he dunked his head in haphazardly into the bucket of apples and water. He tried to nab one up but missed the first one he aimed for. Pulling his head back up, muzzle dripping with water as he huffed. He pawed at the water for a moment, looking at the apples and noticing one that looked to be the perfect size. Not too big or small, the right size for him to bite into. With a determined wiggle, he aimed himself and bobbed in, snatching up the apple with a victorious bounce.

Basilisk splutters for the umpteenth time as he surges up and out of the water, all of the feathers on his head flattened unpleasantly and soaked through. He isn't sure what he's doing wrong. Maybe his beak isn't long enough, or his technique is poor, or he just doesn't have the ability to counteract his instinct and get wholly in the barrel and grab an apple.

Checking on the competition, he turns to find the Breloom he had met earlier, Watermelon, with half of his body in the full barrel, swaying from side to side strangely. About to check that Watermelon isn't drowning, he rises suddenly with three apples in his mouth, blinking calmly at Bass. Like he's the odd one here.
