The scream that echoed from the forest caught Jin-Dian's attention immediately. “I knew we should'a gone to the forest!” That's it, nothing was keeping her out of the woods now. She was going to investigate!

He pushes out from the group, stumbling forward, making out faint figures in the long distance of the blizzard. Unsure if they were alive, friend or foe, but unwilling to surrender to the blistering cold he called out at the top of his lungs into the wind, "I see something in the distance! It may be shelter. If you can hear my voice, head east!" as he began to push into the wind.

Do you trust the stranger, go into the forest, or explore somewhere else? Or some other reaction and/or suggestion? // Casteon shrugged off the feeling of suspicion in lieu of the cold. Even as the snow let up some he couldnt help but find this all very odd. "Better than freezing our tails off right?" he said before following after the stranger through the storm.

"I know I couldnt have been the only one to have heard that? It sounded like a banshee" he stated, "or a Drauger deathknight using a thu'um.." he muttered whimsically under his breath. With that thought he actually excited himself, what if he was right?! "We should..ah...shouldn't we look into that" he said making a few necessarily eager steps toward the forest once more.

After taking a few deep breaths, she let go of the RPW's leg and hovered gently in the air at shoulder height (for a normal adult RPW). "I-I think we should go and check where the screams came from..." She squeaked hesitantly. "Who or whatever is out there might need our help..." She trailed off, her voice edged with worry.

Do you have any reactions? // My ears flat against my skull, I did as commanded, following Bubble, a grudge quickly forming in my heart against her. "Ugh," I mumbled, "why can't I just go off on my own? I hate being with this group. I don't feel safe with all the vulnerable wolves in here. I'd be better off on my own." When we reached the town, my ears shot around, listening for new sounds and smelling the terrain. Everything seemed all right...but something was clearly still off. I just couldn't put my paw on it. Lost in thought, I jumped when I heard the scream moments later. My eyebrows drew down in a frown as I spun on my heels, looking in the direction of the shriek. I took a few steps forward, my words nearly lost in the wicked wind kicking up snow, "Someone needs help, and I'm not going to stand here and let them scream forever without at least trying to help."

Do you have any reactions? // Araluen had followed along, protests and suggestions from her unheard so she was in a fit, and had begun to drift away from the group. Then that awful scream followed, and she put herself in the middle of everyone, she wasn't going to let that happen to her, but she was curious what could be so awful, these people obviously had something to hide, but what? After these thoughts she calmed, perhaps, by mere superstition the wolf who screamed had a fright, only from being afraid of things that aren't as scary as they may seem. Luen was a mere seamstress who repaired and made clothes, mostly dresses in a warm beach-side store. She was so very cold, so cold that her fur was beginning to get icicles in places.

Amal looked to the east with an unreadable expression, finding herself drawn towards a shining light. As a free spirit, she would have went forth without question, but this place was new to her, too terribly new that she felt uneasy moving towards the unknown. Forcing herself forward, she bounded towards the eastern light..

Amal looks to the stranger with an unreadable expression, weighing the pros and cons of the situation. She had a thought of wanting to run away further into the forest for safety, but, instead she chooses to follow them, following a gut feeling that the stranger was trustworthy and true.

Amal's ears flattened against her head, her eyes darting towards the forest where the ear splitting shriek came from. She felt unease down her spin and sent a calculating, suspicious glare towards the mayor, not trusting the area around her. This town was too sweet...seemed too nice...was it really? "what was that" she whispered, loud enough for the wolves surrounding to hear but quiet enough to float away on the wind and not reach the ears of the mayor.
