Most likely because they paid for the art. To be honest,im not sure if i will give the winner my art or not

I've been sitting here for an hour arguing weather or not I was going to post here as I don't want to clutter up the thread so I'm going to make this one post on the subject as well as wish everyone a good luck.

I can understand how it can be kinda difficult to let go of the art you have ordered or done for a competition, after all it's kinda hard blow to put in all that effort and not come out on top. But in the end if you do not win then what good is the art to you? The character is not yours and so you have no functional use for the art. If you wish to color it in for a different character of yours then that's great but on the other hand there is still the original file for the art that has their character on it, so how does coloring it in have any affect on the original piece?

Keeping the art you have in a competition is very selfish and makes the person that does win not feel very good as in essence what you re doing is being a sore sport. Even if the art does not match the personality or character concept of the winner it is still polite to offer it in case the owner thinks it may some how apply.

I for one will be giving all my art to the winner, and there is quite a bit of it. I have spent hours ordering and making the art I have collected and I have paid quite a bit for it all as well. Tens of rares have went into my form as well as several main list pets that were hard for me to part with. But in the end I will wish the new owner the best of luck with their character and be happy that this Plumerian went to a person who obviously cares a lot about them because if they didn't then they wouldn't have won. Congratulating someone on winning and then not offering them the art you had is just a passive aggressive way of being a sore looser.

In light of this I would like to give a very heart felt good luck to everyone that has entered and finished their form. There are several forms that are amazing and I for one am very glad that this is a wonderful competition with so many people that would treat this Plume well if they won. Whoever does win certainly deserves them.

Hey y'all! Please keep arguments off the thread. Regardless of if you think it's fair or not, the owner of the art is free to do what they choose with the art. ^^
