Eddie chuckles and goes to wave goodbye, but he stops dead in his tracks. From behind Motley comes the noise of rapidly approaching chicken feet. Motley is only just able to turn his head in time to see a feathered mass SMACK into his face. Mariana is back for revenge. There will be no survivors.

Eddie looks at Evergreen, then looks up at the High Flyers ride, then looks back at Evergreen. Then back at the High Flyers ride. Then back at Evergreen. There's a pronounced silence, as if Eddie is trying to tell Evergreen something, but can't quite say it.

"It's my first time legally runnin' one. Or, uh, as legal as this whole situation was. Back when I was a whelp, my pops used ta let me work on his carousel ride! Some days, he'd be too out of it to come work, so he'd let me run the thing for the day... Man, those were the days..."
