Austin McDuffery's the name! Austin is technically a boy's name but she wears her name proudly non-the-less! McDuffery is her last name. I'm not getting into meanings or anything, just telling you her simple name... and her nickname, Aussie, which is both derived from her name and her Australian background.

Although Austin is a boy's name and she has a very tomboyish nature, she is most definitely female. She's not your typical girl though, despising shopping, makeup, dresses and many other things that most other girls would adore. She spends her time being active and getting her hands dirty.

Austin is extremely tomboyish in nature, despising most things that other girls adore and spending most of her time in sports and athletics. She love getting her hands dirty in whatever way and is most often seen outdoors. She prefers to hang out with groups of guys rather than girls just due to similar interests. She is very adventurous, enjoying taking risks and doing what others call "too dangerous". She's always pushing her limits and going beyond expectations, however, this is Austin's greatest shortfall as well. She often pushes herself too far, and needs someone to step in and force her to stop. She can get too determined and can lead to her making reckless decisions and putting herself physically and mentally at risk. Putting this aside, Austin is extremely loyal and friendly. She's always inclusive and trying to make others feel welcome. She is very athletic and active, always finding time to do at least a few stretches every day. Let's be sweet and to the point. Some people might say that I'm carefree. I say I just know how to have fun! I can be quite the diligent worker if I set my mind toward a certain goal, I am certainly not a lazy bag of bones! My adopted brothers Tholomew and Obsidian love to pick on me. Boys will be boys, ya know? I never let them get to me, I'm known for being very level-headed, and I don't agree with fighting back. "An eye for an eye" is known throughout the world for it's stupidity, I never condone the use of violence! A big thing that drives me in life is the preservation of both wildlife and the habitat they occupy! Call me a tree-hugger, it won't bother me. We've only got one world, and we treat it as if we have another to go to. I involve myself in activities that help wild-life and love to go on long walks with bags to pick up litter.

It's not surprising though, I tend to not give a hoot if my friends or family think I'm an odd-ball.
I have a thing for butter, I always steal Mommy's popcorn bags and lick them clean.
My closet doors creep me out when I'm trying to sleep, I always close them before I lay down.
Oh, and I have to sleep with my back against the wall. That way monsters have one less side to attack from.
I always sort my candy by flavors and eat my least favorite first. I love saving the best for last!

When I was just a baby, I was adopted off to some elderly woman who did not have time for me. She had an extremely bad problem with animal hoarding, and did not take proper care of me with almost 100 other pets to care for too. I remember how bad that house smelled, with so many dogs and cats and birds to keep up with, she didn't have time to keep up with the bathroom situation. The neighbor must have noticed and called the cops, because her house was raided and we were all taken to shelters. I was barely 4 months old, what a terrible way for me to start my life. I was taken to a shelter where I was fed and had all the matted fur in my coat trimmed off. Best bath ever, let me tell you! It was soon after that when Basshead walked in and instantly fell in love with me. I could see it in her eyes, this girl wanted what was best for me and knew she could provide that. I couldn't be happier with my adopted family, I love them all to bits!

If I win this baby, she will be my first ever JBD.
This is special to me because for the longest time, I wanted a dog.
My entire childhood went by, and my parents continually told me "NO DOGS!"
I was always so envious of my friends who had these lovely animals. You can teach them tricks,
train them to be service dogs, and actually bond with them the way I feel I couldn't with our cats.
Cats are less dependent on their owners, and I always wanted the responsibly of my own dog to keep me busy.
When I rescued Mila, she was only five weeks old. She bonded with me as if I were her mother, and I feel
the same way about her. I love my first dog with my whole heart, and I would love to have a Shepherd
based JBD to be able to represent that love for her through a character. I will be very active with her,
most likely put her in my signature and have artwork commissioned of her! I am always doodling in
my spare time, and I have plans to paint Mila on my wall when we get our new apartment.
(I already have my other character Obsidian on the walls of our current place xD)

Chillin' like a villain - Drawn and Colored by Me
Quick Painting Design Concept - Drawn in about ten minutes by me, I saw I still have time to edit my form so I thought I'd add this in. I just got a new apartment last friday and we can paint on the walls here. I had paintings of my old characters in my old room, so I plan on painting Mila on the wall in either my living room or my bedroom if I win her c: I'm either going to do this pose where she's kind of resting in her tail, she's throwing the peace sign, and I might put some kind of flower in her hand.

My other idea for the painting is her sitting on a mushroom with planets swirling around her c:
I'm going to go sketch that and post it if it's still before Midnight...

EDIT: Basically this, but obviously much more detailed. I don't want to put a painting on my wall though until I know if I won or not though lol. I'd make the planets glow and it'd show against her fur and it just ahhhh, it looks so good in my head.
