Hachi has never felt fully attached to their own body, they've always believed they were supposed to be born a polar bear. In their early teens, they found out about fursuiting and in an attempt to become more like their inner bear, they began creating their own suits. Despite the dozens of suits they've made, the first thing they made seems to have the most comfort, satisfaction, and meaning than anything else; a huge, bundled scarf with paws at the end that they can wear. Feeling more confident in them self, they decided to travel the world for a home they felt most comfortable in. Before they left, they grabbed a bag made by their grandmother, a native Alaskan, who sewed the bag by hand for Hachi when they were young, claiming it to be "The carrier of (Hachi's) true beginning". The collar around their neck was also made by their grandmother. The smooth metal buttons are now used to keep the large, baggy scarf around their neck from falling loosely down onto their shoulders.

Meanwhile for the paw scarf, it definitely keeps him warm from neck or to hands. Usually he'll also use it for fun such as make polar prints and it always brightens up his day.

felniir is descendent from a tribe known as the skaal, a proud tribe that is from the land where it always snows. when someone comes of age, they go on their first hunt to retrieve the pelt of a wolf and this shows a true warrior. the day that felniir went out, it was a snow storm and although he was warned to wait, his determination was too great.
the storm had been ferocious, tearing out trees from the ground, uprooting them completely. but he wouldn’t give up, no matter how much the wind battered him black and blue.
it was then he had heard a roar of the white bear that had been lurking around the tribe. he had no choice but to fight the beast that had killed many.
felniir thought there was nothing he could… until he saw the tree. It was leaning over and was on the brink of falling. In a last attempt, he had climbed up and the bear followed. With all the weight, it toppled, killing the best.
he returned home with the pelt and made it into a scarf with the satchel, showing his tribe that he was truly a warrior.
