Cat's name & why: Sloth. Dew's cat's name is Sloth because his cat is quite old so he his slow and sleep a lot. Due to Sloth being old, slow, and in pain Dew prefers to carry him on his back. Sloth has been through quite a lot, like being hit by multiple cars, falling out of trees and not landing on his feet, and much more but he is quite a fighter just so he can stay with his owner. Whenever Dew is gone Sloth with meow over and over until he comes back.

Kaz was never much of an "animal-lover," or someone who went around doing things like protesting for their rights, or making a big deal about things like the rainbow toads or the great googly bird going extinct, but the day that changed his life was the day he met his cat.
It actually began as a terrible day, starting out a bad fluff-day, Kaz sure that he looked like some ill-groomed bear (but with nicer hair.) He'd been wandering around with nothing to do, contemplating life, all those things that began to wear on you throughout the day, especially one that was looking like it might rain, the clouds giant and storm-like. Upon leaving his home to stroll through the woods in hopes of finding entertainment, Kazette was more than surprised to stumble upon a box, labeled "To: Kas"
Interesting. Leaning down and giving the thing a good up-close examination, Kaz was still confused as to what could possibly be in it as well as who exactly this thing was addressed to. His one and only nickname was Kaz with a "z," not an "s".
But it was then that the box began moving. Jumping back in shock, Kazette eyed the box suspiciously as it tumbled around before his curiosity got the better of him and he pounce on it, pushing open the cardboard box tabs with his nose. It was a kitten. A tiny, orangish furball with stripes and a meow louder than Kaz could handle, his posture leaning away from the thing. It was like the small creature was yelling at him, demanding something of him that he couldn't possibly comprehend.
Most people would be overjoyed, take the thing home, nurse it back to health or make sure the thing was in safe hands- but none of the thoughts even crossed his mind. Lifting up the thing in his mouth, Kaz set it outside of the box, staring at the shivering thing like it could only be trouble. However, upon further inspection of the box, which he was more interested in than the small cat itself, Kaz found proof that this thing was meant for him, a note simply stating "Kasette" inside the box.
How silly. Whoever had given him this thing couldn't even spell his name right. "Hmf. It's Kaz, not Kas... so that must be you. Kass." he tried, the kitten waddling up to him and purring in agreement. Feeling somewhat strange taking this animal out of the woods but knowing he couldn't ignore his new responsibility, Kaz took it back with him, surprised to find that the thing wasn't as weak or boring as it looked. In fact, it could race squirrels up trees faster than Kaz could dream of, tumbling off of his back on occasion to toddle after butterflies and bees, pouncing on everything in sight that moved. By the time Kazette arrived at what he called home with the kitten, the thing had become amusing to him, his funny little Kass. He couldn't help but start to fall in love with him, finding it oddly comforting and a nice distance from feeling lonely an bored, as he had before. Regardless, he hadn't given it too amazing a name, simply an error of his own, but it made him feel as though they were closer. Like the little cat was meant for him. From that day forwards, despite a bit of struggle to understand the little and energetic creature that he'd been given by who knew, it was the best friendship Kazette had ever had.

Spirit lived a simple life where nothing seemed to change and he was upset about that. His eyes were gray, his fur was gray, everything about him just screamed "plain" and "boring" which is why nobody even glanced at him in a crowd. Spirit was alone his whole life and longed for a friend, but everyone seemed to expect plumerians to be bright and colorful just as birds. All his attempts of friendship have failed and he eventually stopped trying, going on with his life alone without anything interesting happening.

Until one night.

Spirit went outside during a rainy evening to make sure that rain wasn't dripping into his home when he heard a sad meow. He ran to it ignoring the rain and noticed a stray orange cat shivering from the cold. Spirit couldn't ignore the sight in front of him, so he carefully poked the kitten with his muzzle as a sign of friendliness and brought it back to his own home.
Even after the rain has passed the cat wouldn't leave, but Spirit didn't mind. He felt like he finally had a friend and in time they became closer and closer. It felt like that was the first ray of sunshine that brought happiness to his life, so he named the cat after that. Spirit finally had a reason to smile and feel loved, thus he vowed to forever protect his only friend.

Snarf is a really dorky kitten, constantly tripping over her own paws when she walks and running into mirrors. Pidge being the awkward comic book and animation dork they are they decided to name their kitten after their favorite character with similar traits, Snarf from Thundercats. Snarf has an issue with their vocal cords she makes a snorting noise rather than a meow, sounding like the classic "snarff snarffff".

Arti was walking down the sidewalk by his nearby park. He loved to take walks. It was one of his favorite things to do if he wasn't watching Netflix or daydreaming. Today, he had an emotion. A different one. He usually felt happy and content, maybe sad, but today, he was feeling like he wanted to do something big and creative. What was the emotion called? Creative? No, that wasn't it. Inspired? Yes, he was feeling inspired. He pulled a little smile and took a turn towards the playground. He sat by the bench there and wondered, what could I be doing right now? He could help the homeless. But he didn't have any change. He could help clean the park, but he didn't fancy cleaning. Then he decided to go climb a tree. It was a small task, yes, but it was something he felt like he could do to think his life through and just have a break. He didn't have work today so he had all the time in the world. He ran to a nearby tree and lifted himself up the branches. When he got to the top, he sat down. That's when he heard a meow. He looked around, and saw a tabby cat the color of ginger. It was dirty, and seemed lost. He didn't notice anyone coming to fetch this poor cat, so he decided to keep the cat and take care of it. He grabbed it gently and held it in his paws. "I need to think of a name for you, don't I?" he said to the cat. The cat simply "meowed" back. "I know! I could name you Inspire. Yes, that's perfect." Arti was oddly proud of her name, so he immediately brought the cat home. He still takes care of Inspire to this day.

the cat LOVES boxes,
especially since Sullivan found him stray in a small package box, it was lying on the street with the sign
"Can't keep, free kittens!!..." with only that small cat , which was probably the runt of the litter, inside the box, with shredded newspaper at the bottom of it. Sullivan being one who feels bad, took the cat to his small apartment, and after settling it with the landlord, they agreed that he could stay.Sullivan thought it was cute that the cat loved the box , and not knowing what to name it for a few months , he started calling the cat Schrödinger, like the science experiment where the cat it put into a box/chamber.
