A bean was invited by the hyena king.
I hesitated for a single second when I saw her. Then I hid, but she saw the tip of my tail.
She said it was going to be alright, and we'd return in a huge number so we could take the island back if I went with her.
And I went.
Now I'm here. They want to know about my past. They want to fit me in. They say it's going to get better.
But what do they know?
They don't know what it's like not to rest, having a dagger in your pouch, knowing every action, every second is important.
I've trusted you.
Don't be my second mistake.
Don't be the second ring on my tail."

Rosie is a young bean who tackles anxiety as well as an over active imagination - she claims to see dead beings continuing to haunt the Earth. She hides her anxiety with cold and heavy armour, this armour makes her appear strong, as if she could hold her own, but she can't.

It is often shown that Rosanna is a stubborn young bean who hates allowing others to know her weaknesses, though you should keep in mind that she has plenty. She is strong willed with a short temper - but she is easily relaxed. She struggles with knowing that she can't trust anyone, she understands that not everyone who smiles at her is her friend and that she should be wary to whom she opens up to.

Rosanna could be compared to a fledgling; the last one in the nest. The one who has watched each of its friends leave and disappear from view; the fear takes over her quickly and often she feels that she needs to be more in control, but she lacks confidence in herself.

Despite her lack of confidence, upon meeting new people Rosanna can put on a false display of it, as well as showing a form of courage which she greatly lacks.

She has a tendency to ramble on and on about something.


You must understand that Rosanna is a very emotional young bean and that we should be very gentle when attempting to discuss her past with her, but when Rosanna arrived at the Orphanage with little to no information provided about her, it was obvious that she was anxious, but also had a very 'loud mind'.

Once settled, Rosanna was asked what had happened and she told the staff this:
'To tell the truth, I don't know. I lived alone for so long. My mum. My dad. They both left me, they demanded that I was to stay where I was. Did I stay there? No.
I'm sure that I hadn't traveled far from my hiding place, but I saw others rising from the ground. They whispered nonsense to me as they made chase. It scares me to think that I was so close to fall from that cliff.
What were they? I think they were monsters, but monsters don't hide under the bed, do they? Nor do they hide in the shadows, right? They only exist in your head. So, they were no monsters, I can assure you that they were simply spirits of those who had passed, so they can't be monsters because I didn't make them up in my head..... You doubt me. I can promise you, they are real.'



Upon arriving at the orphanage, Rosanna was very nervous and appeared to like being by herself but as she has grown accustomed to her new home, Rosanna has made many new friends. Her most significant friend is a young Jellybean Dragon whom to she met at school, Deklan.

Her relationship with Deklan has caused her to evolve as a person as they are both very different - he is very loud and rather punky whilst she is very quiet and likes being in a corner with a book. Just imagine what they will be like as Teenagers, maybe by then Deklan could make her a more open and confident young lady.

Deklan and Rosanna are very good friends and it appears that he has brought Rosanna out of her shell, causing her to have become a bigger, more confident, bean. However, when they are not together and/or she is not in a familiar environment, she does become very anxious as well as lose her confidence in herself.

History: Tribute can barely remember her upbringing. She was abandon when she was very young and stuck to herself every since. Without parents she had to teach herself how to survive. Since she was young Tribute has always stayed away from anyone and doesn't make friends easily.
