ᴜsᴇʀɴᴀᴍᴇ;;I am ♥Talon, currently a non-kia owner. I usually stalk the Kiamaras, not taking interest enough to post forms and try out for just any kiamara. I want one I love and know I will use. I believe I just found him, he called out to me in the strangest of ways. Thank you so much for the opportunity at him, even if I don't win him, all is fair and fun! I just hope I show how much I want him by the effort in the form and and the story surrounding him.
ᴋɪᴀᴍᴀʀᴀ ɴᴀᴍᴇ;;"So you want my name? My name is Záporozo, I think... just call me Zap for short. Everyone else thinks it's easier to say, anyway." He says calmly. It didn't seem to bother him being labeled by Zap, an ironic nickname for a sea-themed kiamara. That's the only name he had that he remembered and that was what he went by.
ᴍᴇᴀɴɪɴɢ;;I decided on this name because for one it's Hungarian and two it means Undertow. I wanted to pick something closer to home and since Hungarian is in my blood, that is what I went with, despite all the other awesome names I had. I was originally going to pick something Japanese or Hawaiian, but even though I love those languages it's just not suiting for me or for a character of mine if it doesn't have a deeper connection.
I also went with the meaning of "undertow" and "riptide", all for his past and the irony of his nickname. On a trip to collect some things for his hoard, he went out too far in the ocean. Incapable of reaching the bottom, he was powerless to withstand the dangerous undercurrent that lurked underneath and he was dragged out to sea. He unfortunately lost his memory from the suffocation of his brain at one point, from being under the sea level too long. The only recollection of his previous life was this friend shouting something about the undertow. Now he assumes it is his name.ɢᴇɴᴅᴇʀ;;He is definitely male with some feminine features like his gorgeous eyes, silky-smooth hair, and his long eye lashes. Being so, he doesn't mind being referred to as "she" - being gender fluid is fine with him - as long as it's not in a rude, snotty kind way. He is also pansexual, though is usually more compatible with males, since he tends to get along with the more simple-minded souls...
ʜɪs sᴛᴏʀʏ;;He used to love the sea, being attracted by that inviting glimmer as the light reflected off the top of the water. The ocean shimmered like flashing teeth in mother nature's beautiful smile, inviting and bright. This smile was a trap, inviting souls to come in, then use that once-smile now filled with sharp teeth to bite down and swallow them whole. It was a game to her and she enjoyed to play it, every soul was a trophy and she always craved more. She hoarded the trophies, keeping them in the darkness and glanced over them to see her accomplishment. She loved a good challenge, those were her best trophies. Every century she had to throw out something new to keep souls captivated by tossing corals, shells, and pearls onto the shore. She needed to keep her calm appearance to keep the interest in her growing, but underneath laid the dangerous riptides waiting for her next trophies. That was the true being of mother nature, ruthless and cruel to any land animal that dared to touch her glimmering waters. Unfortunately, many people fell for her beauty and drowned. She was a siren.

It was a fairly normal day for the tide here, a small beach linked to a piece of land that jutted out into the sea, rocky and plant-less. The waves crashed violently against the rocks, throwing droplets of water into the air. Broken shells and coral thrown onto the beach from the force of the crashing waves. It wasn't a mistake that hardly any living being was among the waterlines in this area. The powerful waves threw a body on a slanted rock before retreating back into the sea, pulling back into a calm and flat surface. Danger brewed under the waves.
Warm rays of the sun caressed his face, gently urging him to wake up. The water that cradled him dripped from his fur, making no sounds against the loud roaring of the waves. His eyes fluttered a bit, waking up as he coughed and hacked up water to clear his lungs. He opened his eyes timidly, as if he was afraid the light may hurt him. All he was able to see was shades of blues and tans blurred together with other mixes of colors, making no forms he could recognize. He weakly used his front legs to hoist his body up out of the waterline and lifted his head - one eye shut to block the blinding and blistering sun. Waves slapped the rock he was on, water pushing up and made droplets of salt water that splashed onto his fur.A salty tang filled his mouth, grainy and indenting into his lips. Reaching up, he tried to wipe the grainy sand away gently but it only hurt more... he was sore and swollen. He was able to get the sand that wasn't embedded into parts of his mouth, but he refused to fuss with it any more given little strength and the piercing pain that followed. His arm fell back down as he gave up and squinted his eyes. Trying to focus more on his sight, forms began to shape and he began to make out the ocean and beach line, giving him just a bit of an idea of what lurked around him. Not really anything moving but the tides and the shells it threw onto the sand. The more he began to make out, the more his head throbbed until it felt like someone was hitting him in the head with a rock - over and over again.
He still focused his sight, an instinct in him kicked in to keep doing what he was doing to get out of this dangerous line. Something creeped out of the corner of his vision, something bright and coral-colored. A wave had just thrown whatever this was onto the rock he was on, just out of his reach. Glinting a bit, he made it out to be star-shaped, but that's all he knew about it. He leaned just to the right a bit and forward, grabbing the object and pulling it to himself. The texture was smooth in areas, though parts on the side were scratchy. Taking a good look at it, he came to the conclusion it was a very neat looking rock, not knowing it was once a living creature like himself. He had no other idea of what it might be, but to him one thing was for sure: this was the only thing with him in this place. A voice deep within him told him that he needed to take it with him, like his life depended on it. He only complied, unaware it was in his genes to hoard and collect and had no idea that was what this voice was.
Now, the young kiamara needed to get off this hunk of stone and stop his pattering heart from beating so hard in his chest. He seemed anxious, but he also needed food and a place other than this rock to sleep. He was hurting, so how could he make it off this thing and somewhere... safer. He fixed his bi-colored eyes towards the beach once more, fiddling with the starfish in his grasp. He had no idea how he got there. As he thought about it, he noticed he only could remember one thing. The soft cry of a familiar voice burned his ears as he looked up towards something dark and blue. He was cold, feeling lifeless, as he watched a small orb of light glitter just out of his reach. He lifted his paw up to the light, but the light seemed to get farther away, avoiding his touch. He panted for a moment, feeling his heart beat even more like he was being tormented. Why did he feel this way? A soft cry echoed in the back of his head, repeating over and over again "Watch... the... Záporozó!"

Hoarder • Amnesiac • Thalassophobic • CompassionateZáporozó is something of a sugar-coated lemon. He's incredibly sweet until you bite down. He is willing to go the distance for a stranger and willing to take others' crap to a point. However, he is not the smartest when it comes to situations and will bite back if he feels he is backed into a corner. Cause and effect is something he doesn't comprehend very well and is something he will learn all over again, causing him to be in a handful of situations that are not in his favor. This also makes him a very poor planner - if he even plans at all - and will usually run headstrong into a situation without a second thought. He is quick on his feet but not a quick thinker, having more muscle than brain power. This doesn't make him a brute, he is not unnaturally strong or fast nor incredibly dumb. He is simply better with his feet than he is on his feet.
He can be shown to be very passionate about things, even if it's the smallest of actions like fetching some water. He loves to help others, growing plants and cleaning dens, but doesn't care to help himself often. He never cleans his house, cluttering it up with hoarded items that shines in his eyes. He isn't lazy, he enjoys getting up and going for walks and runs, he just cannot let go of some of these things - every items is dear to him and there in case he needs it, though he doesn't realize he may never need them. He isn't very clumsy, he takes great care of anything if he is helping someone else. He loves to lend a gentle paw.
Under that gentleness that is on his surface lies dangerous territory. Emotions bubble inside like lightning, waiting for something to get close enough to strike. He bottles up emotions, unknowingly to the cause and effect of his drowned brain, just certain functions it just does not render anymore. This is very dangerous, holding back will only cause more damage when it finally is released, like anything when it is contained long enough. This is why he is strangely attracted to the ocean and all the darkness she contains. He doesn't realize it, but beyond his fear of the vast ocean he craved and longed to jump in. Somewhere deep in him longed for it, it was the only thing he could confide in. The light has betrayed him, pulling away from his reaching paw then stranded him on a rock. His memories and everything in his past was gone, so the ocean was the only thing left. Yes, it suffocated him and nearly killed him, but the ocean was the one that still wanted him as waves crashed the shore, calling for him, as he passed by. The ocean was there for him now. Darkness had it's grip on him as it devoured his soul and any light left in him. Zap was ignorantly becoming like the sea, shimmering on the surface as others came into his life while violent undertows lurked deep within him.ᴀʀᴛ;;I strongly urge you to take a peek. They are all breath-taking! I went a bit happy with art, so to avoid the form being cluttered, they are in link form. Very sorry but they are all worth it, I think!
