It was a place like no other, a huge fast-flowing river surrounded by steep cliffs that rose high into the air, strait up from about six feet away from the shore. It was nearly impossible to see the top; clouds became present before the it was reached. Vines hung down the walls, trees that seemed to be hanging by one root sitting precariously on the larger ledges. She loomed in the trees, jumping from branch to branch, and appeared to be trapped down by the river. I approached her, and she seemed to be very wild and borderline feral, but I quickly won her over with some jelly beans, and took her home with me.

location // I'm going to use a sort of story, as if you are walking through the area. I hope this is okay.
Dull, dead grass covers the ground. Dead black trees twist and curl towards the grey clouds. Amongst the dry, tangled grass and weeds, small rocks litter the ground. About twenty feet away, a small, brown river flows between some bullrushes. Around it's edges and a good three feet from it, soft clay-like mud covers the ground. Many paw prints indent the soil, mostly racoons and wolves. But a set of JBD tracks lead along it's edge. Following the tracks leads you to a crumbling limestone boulder, about 10 feet in diameter and 6 feet high. Behind it it stretches a dense hawthorn wood, and the only way to get through it looks to be by walking in the river. A small, muddy burrow barley wide enough for a human to enter worms under the boulder. You shine a flashlight into it, and see a comfortable home. Soft moss lines the floors, and the walls are painted bright blue. A unlit wax candle lies on the ground inside. Small, crude shelves dug out of the walls are lined with bone and wood carvings. Some small jars hold what looks to be blue paint, probably made from berries. Some paint brushes made from hair and wood sit on the ground in front of the shelf. Most are stained blue. Peering further into the den, you notice another hollow in the wall, which is stocked with nuts and berries. Retreating from the hollow, you scale the boulder and survey from above. The way you came (lets say North), it's mostly just scrubby dead trees and long grass. To the South, the thick bramble forest seems to stretch all the way to the mountains. To the east, the ground drops off quickly and turns to a cliff. A pristine pool of water surrounded by bushes, which grow bright blue berries. The way down looks treacherous, and very few animals could scale it. To the east, more scrubby trees and tall grass for about 100 feet, and then a steep hill studded with bramble bushes. The whole area is studded with sharp boulders.

And one last little bulleted description:

> cold
> dark
> dead (grass + trees)
> wet, lots of mud
> isolated
> normally windy
> mainly hawthorn trees and dead apple trees
> most weeds are dead from poor quality soil
> several small clay deposits hold fresh clay soil, which can be sculpted with

I hope I did everything right o3o

Lakota

Lakota is from Saint Mary's Lake in Montana, which is in the United States. The lake is crystal clear and you could open your eyes underwater and see straight to the bottom it is so pure. It is in Glacier National Park, so Lakota sometimes had to hide from people. Because of that she actually lives in a cave right next to the cave. Its only opening is to the lake itself, so no people ever went in, and because some of the water comes into her cave she only had to go outside for food, but that's exactly how she was caught.

I come onto CS maybe once in a blue moon? So don't expect fast replies.
Pretty inactive nowadays as travelling the world keeps me pretty busy, but I'm here now and again for a yarn or even if you want a few pets? Feel free to make a one sided offer, although I retain my right to refuse or edit a trade if there is something I'd want to hold on to for memories sake.

Oneida
location //
Oneida was living deep in the middle of the Amazon, occasionally venturing out. Her adventurous spirit, but stubborn as well, took her to many places. She thought, "Why stay in one place when there is a world to explore?" Always staying in the deep wilderness of where she went, she never even knew what a human was, or even saw one. When she heard of them, they would call them 2-legged enemies. She has a wild personality, but her home is near a very large jungle tree with a hollowed trunk where she stays on bad days. She has rarely ever come in contact with another living bean. She loves snakes, her name shows that, it means "Real Snakes". (I came up with the name because it was a name of one of my family members who had died a bit ago D'X)

Ribbons and Bows/ Sunnyside (I'll be changing my name back to Sunnyside soon; Ribbons and Bows is my seasonal name n_n)

jbd name //

Her true name is unknown, as she refuses to speak to anyone. We've come to call her Ahulani, which is a native Hawiian name, and means "Heavenly Shrine"

location //

Where we found her ties in heavily with the name we gave her. We named her Ahulani because we found her hiding out in an ancient, native Hawaiian shrine, deep in Hawaii's rainforest. It seems she'd been staying there a good long while; she had a well established nest, with a stash of berries she uses to paint herself, and is decorated with shells, colourful stones, and brightly coloured feathers from the tropical birds. There was a long debate as to whether we should take Ahulani back with us. We decided it would be best for her if we did. We brought some of the berries, shells, stones, and feathers back with her, to remind her of her home. She now keeps those in her pouch, and is often found sitting by herself, batting a few stones around, or mushing the berries into a paste to keep her painted markings bright. Though, approaching her would not be a good idea; she tends to snap at anyone who comes near her. She allows only a few near her, and trusts no one. She is quite resentful about being removed from her home.

Ki'tasho, what she called herself. As best we can tell, this is her name for the berries that she uses to make the dye that she paints herself with.
location //

Before I was "found'" I lived quietly by myself in a cool, dry cave in a rich forest buy a stream. It was a primitive life to what you lead, but is was my life, and I had no reason to change it. But it changed itsself.
On a particularly sunny day, I was fishing in the nearby stream, not a care in the world, and no notion of what was to come. As I sat patiently on a rock, watching the water for the silver glint of a fish, a great roar came in the distance. It was something that I had never heard before, and I whipped around to look at it. From the trees above the sound came a great flock of birds, something that I HAD seen before, and that I knew meant trouble.
So, thoughtlessly, I ran to it. When, arrived, I found my home being destroyed by... what do you call them? Bulldozers. Groups of creatures- just like me, I noted, with some surprise, apart from their hard yellow scalps and spinning blade hands- were cutting through the trunks of trees and making them fall like twigs. Despite the fear of these new things, I was more angry at the destruction of my home, so I charged forward, screaming. The one nearest to me had only time to look up in surprise before I tackled him and and began to bite everywhere I could reach. His cries drew the other's attention and one, picking up a heavy log, hit me with it. I rolled off my victim, who stood, and staggered backwards, not seriously injured. The blow had done some damage to me, though, and, as I fell unconscious, I heard them speak. At the time, I did not know what they were saying, but I know now. Here it is, as best I remember:
"What is that?"
"It looks like a Bean."
"But it attacked me!"
"Could be feral."
"...What should we do with it?"
"Let's take it back."
"Where?"
"Donno, but this ain't natural. Besides, someone'll know what to do with it and we need to get on with our work."
"... Alright."
Then I passed out. I woke up in box on a soft white thing, what I now know to be a hospital room, my home destroyed, displaced, confused, and very, very afraid.
