JBD Name: Acorn.
Favorite Season: Autumn.
Story 1#: "Acorn learns patience"
The clear crisp air of Fall drowned Acorn with pure pleasure. Winds played with the branches on the trees, his ears twitched to their songs followed by the dancing leaves, gently swaying through the wind and softly touching the ground. Excitement stirred Acorn, as he followed from his sitting position to a run. Dashing across the fallen Autumn leaves, satisfying crackles settle under his feet as he pranced gleefully onward. The air rushed through him, sending a chill up his spine which let him to slow down his pace, into the open sun. Acorn let the warm golden rays settle into his body, his pelt fluffed as he let a slow sigh escape him. The jelly bean dragon then noticed a tree to the far left of him. It's leaves were brown and dry, however still hung onto the large plants branches. Curiously, Acorn retreated from his warm spot in the sun and approached this odd tree. Once at the trunk of the tree, he noticed that not one single leaf had fallen. The bare green grass was the only thing under the large tree, as Acorn continued to stare around, slightly irritated. No, not slightly, very irritated. All of the other tree's had allowed their leaves to fall, if not all, most. Acorn cocked his head to the trunk, a brief pause before he placed his right paw on the bark of the tree, gripping it he started to climb. The roughness of the bark pressed up against his fluffy belly, but it secured him in a way, as Acorn went on up. It didn't take long to reach the first thick branch, as the jelly bean dragon heaved himself up, slipping a bit before gaining balance. He paused to rest a bit, as he peered down. The distance really wasn't that long, but it made Acorns' stomach tight, as he gulped in looking at the ground. Shaking his head he returned his stare to the leaves on the branch.
"Ready to touch the floor you leaves?"
The jelly bean challenged aloud, walking closer to a bunch of foliage. Daring to, Acorn jumped in the air only to be back on the branch, attempting to cause the leaves to fall. Though he didn't even make the branch move. Acorn walked further out on it, the farther the thinner it was. He tried again. This time the branch
did move, but apparently it wasn't enough to make the leaves fall. Frustrated, Acorn once more walked further out onto the branch, nearly at the end of it, this time, he jumped his hardest, which in doing so, caused him to lose balance and started hurling towards the ground in shock. The ground hit fast, but fortunately not hard. Acorn snorted in frustration and started back up at the tree. He examined the leaves, grabbing one with his teeth. The taste was awful, flinching, he pulled on it, expecting it to come off with ease, however truth it didn't come off at all. Tugging, it managed to break in two pieces, as he fell back with half of the leaf in his mouth. Acorn spat it out in disgust, sticking his tongue out hoping that the taste would find it's way out from his mouth. Grumbling, Acorn sat on the branch to think. What other way could there be to get the leaves off the tree?
Patience..The words drifted from the back of his head, Acorn tried to push it back, however, it seemed to be the only answer. Upset, and broken, the jelly bean dragon headed back down the tree. Loosely hanging onto the bark as he climbed down, moping silently to himself. Once on the ground, he took two slow steps before a weight, a crash, and surprise overtook him from keeping his pace. All turned black, something was tickling or scratchy all over his body, till he managed to poke his head out from the mess he was in.
"The leaves!"
Acorn gasped. From the jelly beans dragons neck, to tail, was covered with the dry brown leafs he was only moments ago trying to get down. Pure pleasure overtook him, as he dove right back into the bunch, practically swimming through the heap of leaves. They flew beside him, they danced in the wind, tickling his chin, sneezing as they swiped past his nose, before he realized it, the pink glows of sunset were upon him. Exhausted, Acorn plopped himself on the top of the leaf pile, sinking within batch. The rocks of wind swirled around him, heaving left, then right. The orange sun was dropping down behind the trees quickly, along with the streaks of pink. Sleep was over coming Acorn, as his eye lids drooped to the songs of the swinging branches in the wind. Autumn, yes, Autumn is a great time of the year.
Story 2#: "Acorn makes a friend"
The air was heavy with humidity, as the rain clouds overhead started covering the once glorious blue sky. Acorn, was already looking for shelter from the drops of rain soon to come. He started heading through the bright red maple leafs. The tugging feeling of stopping to stare pulled at him, but Acorn refused as he kept his pace going ahead. wip

Why do you want this JBD?:First off, the design is amazing. Great job on that. Now, to get back to the answer on why I want him. Honestly, I want a jelly bean dragon, but If I'm going to try for one, I have to want it. I can't just go random, I have to see the character, I have to enjoy the design, look at the colors, examine on if I would use this instead of, "It's a new toy!" and after a day throwing him in the OC trash and never playing with him again. Acorn, I didn't know what to think of him.. I was doubtful on if I would use him as a character, and love him as one also. The answer for me was to work on the form, build up a personality, draw some art see how easy the colors and designs were to do. Practice writing a story on him, his attitudes.. that did it. I want to roleplay with him. I wasn't necessarily that interested in the JBD roleplay till he came along. I want to use more of that little personality he has inside of him, maybe even become more attached to him, in a way I would never forget him. The problem with loving this jelly bean dragon is that many other users love him too, maybe even more then me. It makes me feel guilty for trying, once I posted I reviewed the other forms.. I was thinking over the idea of dropping out, giving other users a bigger chance maybe, but.. something told me to just stay and see. I do want him, but I can't imagine taking him when someone else is trying just as hard and loving him just as much. So, with that said, I want this jelly bean dragon because I love him. I adore the colors, markings, and that little character inside him that is waiting to be pulled out.
Thank you for the opportunity of trying for this amazing JBD! Good luck to all the users who filled out the form! And good luck to the judge in choosing a winner. :D
