Dorian was drawn to Zenaida from her dreary, mournful call. It spoke to his very soul. He spent days wandering around trying to find its source, only to see her. “A pigeon?” he seemed to say with his snort. She ruffled her feathers as if to reply: “I’m a dove, thank you very much.” and that was that. While he was hoping to find the twin to his loneliness, someone whose deep wells of introspect and sadness matched his own, he instead found a rather chipper and completely sassy new friend who perched herself on his shoulders, and never, ever shut up. It took him a few years to realize that Zenaida actually lifted his spirits quite a lot, and perhaps she chose to stick with him to do just that.

Animal Sidekick: a Crow named Happy. Raven has a weird sense of humor and is a bit overdramatic. He’s like a typical "emo kid" and became friends with a crow because he read too many cliché books. He named the crow “Happy” as a joke, but the name fits perfectly because Happy is full of joy and positivity. Happy likes to do silly things, play tricks on Raven, and be cute and cuddly. This annoys Raven because Happy always ruins his “pretend-to-be-depressed” act and spoils the gloomy mood.
Imagine someone complaining about their bad day while a cute crow is rolling around on the ground doing somersaults.

Animal Sidekick: Corvid's sidekick is a hooded crow named Jinx, they have been inseparable since Corvid helped rescue a fledgling Jinx from a goshawk. With both Corvid's and Jinx curiosity and skills, mean nothing is safe from their clever hooves and beaks. Although they are your best bet at finding anything lost and are always there to help out.

Animal Sidekick: An exceptionally loud and agressive goose named simply that, Goose. Lloyd found Goose when he was still barely a hatchling, just out of his egg - the egg got misplaced somehow, and no parents were in sight, so Lloyd decided to raise Goose as his own little foal. Goose takes his equine responsibilities very seriously, he is running with the herd and all, every step accompanied by excited gaggling. But goose nature is still very strong in him, he is terribly protective of his family so dont expect Goose to back out when "challanged"! (simply approaching often counts as "challange") You will have your nose pecked.

It is in a soul's true nature to wander, to float aimlessly into the empty and unknown in search of the light, in search of the warmth that comes with their transcendence from the earthside. Into dense thickets and mossy underfoot, through the bleak and foggy, one may see the faintest glow of yellow light and hear the soft clink of old iron; the coming of the Phantom's stag.

His fur is of the darkest grey, soft white flecks interspersed throughout the wiry pelt that tells his age. His legs are slender, his build muscular and strong from years of survival, years of guiding, and patience. Atop his head stands a crown of bone, large tines that curl in like a lover's embrace and hold the weight of small iron lanterns. The stag is a sight for the sore and weary, for those who have traveled for far too long; and through the fog, under the soft glow of lantern light, he will guide the lost home.

Animal Sidekick: A rather intelligent and clever Harpy Eagle named Aëtos. Aëtos gives Orion news and scouts from above, which helps him navigate his herd through difficult terrain, avoid predators, find shelter and grazing. The two became close allies when Orion was a young bachelor and he stumbled upon an orphaned and frightened eagle chick. Despite knowing nothing of birds, Orion was determined to see to it that Aëtos recovered, and they’ve been close friends ever since.

Animal Sidekick: Well... It was more like the animal chose him. One blustery autumn afternoon, a small, shivering creature stumbled into his herd. It was a fawn, its usually sleek coat ruffled and dull, one leg clearly injured. A devilish snare had likely seized the frightened and alone baby. The other Equids shied away, snorting and stamping, causing the fawn to get even more scared and darted underneath Foggy's belly, trembling violently and peering out at the herd with frightened dark brown eyes. But Foggy, his heart filled with unexpected warmth, nudged the fawn gently with his nose and welcomed her to his side. The fawn, a little girl named Leafstrider, stayed by his side that night and Foggy stayed awake all night, coiled around her like a protective snake. He bandaged her leg the following morning the best he could, and finally popped the question about the little girl's parents. Her gaze fell darkly and she went silent, leaving Foggy to draw his own conclusions about her parents. They were not coming, for one reason or another. That was settled then, in his mind. Foggy gently and slowly introduced Leafstrider to his herd, and now, she's all grown up and regal, standing on her own four feet and grazing and moving with her adopted dad and family.

Animal Sidekick: A raccoon named Rocco, these two are thick as thieves. They love nothing more than to get into things they shouldn't. Always on the hunt for a good snack, Nimbus and Rocco are classic trouble makers. Nimbus found Rocco injured when they were both young and the two unlikely friends have been a duo ever since. It isn't uncommon to find Nimbus giving Rocco a ride on his back.

Animal Sidekick: Seagull. Harper found the seagull one day while he was out roaming near the beach. The poor bird had become an outcast with its peers because it couldn’t seem to fly as fast or as high as the others. Harper has now taken the seagull under his own wing and the seagull rides along his back, opening his wings and pretends that he’s flying and he can definitely now “fly” much faster than the other seagulls around.
